This hotel is a scam, do not book here! If i could give Negative Stars I would do that. I made a resevation for a layoff and informed the hotel that I would arrive around 1am. When i got there they had given away my room and refused to give a refund. I had to scramble to find lodging for the night. I’ve called several times and willing to show my phone bill that indicates I did call to tell them of late arrival.

We stay for 1 night. Room was clean the hall was average. But no blankets so the cold was intence at night and by site of that so much noise people talking the whole night. The windows was closed but every single truck and car that pass outsite it feel like we was sleeping on the road. That was not night. The hotel is old but we check inn at 12 am and leave at 6am. My self will not stay there again and also for that amound of money paid.

Everything here is good and much better than all other hotels in the same price range I've stayed. Place has nice vibe and feels safe. Clean everywhere. Free filtered water + ice machine, microwave in common area. Wifi is excellent, well suited for all digital nomads! Extra plus for the kind and hospitable reception staff. The general manager is also friendly and professional in his services to the guests. All in all I would heartily recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice stay near JFK or budget friendly option to explore NYC a bus+train ride away. See you soon again Quality Inn and thank you!

Stayed in this hotel 1 night in June 2022 and it was the worst experience! The room was dirty, stains all over the carpet, and sheets. Shady men & women coming into hotel. Loud music from a room in basement they rented. Not a safe area and no where to walk to get food. Hotel manager was drinking alcohol he got from a party in basement. Another family staying there got into a huge argument with the manager about their room and the loud music. They ended up calling the police on the manager at 2:30 in the morning. Thankfully I was able to cancel rest of my stay there and leave the next morning but did not sleep one bit the first night. It was truly a nightmare staying here.

SAVE Yourself from a disaster!! The dirtiest, most bed bug riddled, and nastiest staff you could ever deal with. See the bed bugs in pics and vids to really get the scope of it. And the employee gaslit me and my partner telling us it was a Bach cockroach like that would be acceptable. Shame on them for still being open!!!

Mixed reviews are true on this one. It is mostly clean. Bring your flip flops because the room carpet is very old. **** smells are very strong in the hallways. Rooms are fairly small but it is new york and it is priced very reasonably. If you are going to do public transportation, the walk to the bus stop is not very far and it felt safe in the daytime. Breakfast is simply coffee. All in all not a bad stay. I will say that I actually grew up a few blocks up the road so that may be considered a bias. I am normally a hilton customer so that is a bias as well.
