Hôtels proches de Keter Sion Congregation, New York

Nous sommes heureux d’avoir choisi cet hôtel. Mis à part un peu d’attente aux ascenseurs et les espaces communs étroits pour circuler, nos attentes ont été entièrement satisfaites. Chambre confortable et propre (nous avions choisi une avec vue sur la ville), douche en céramique, chauffage facile à régler, personnel courtois et discret, emplacement pratique. Nous sommes venus pendant le temps des Fêtes (18-19-20 décembre) donc nous avons apprécié l’arbre de Noël dans le lobby, cela donnait une ambiance chaleureuse. Je trouve que beaucoup de clients sont difficiles dans leur évaluation de l’hôtel, il ne faut pas oublier que cet hôtel coûte beaucoup moins cher que d’autres, il est sur l’île et nous y dormons bien. Je crois que c’est ça l’important au final.

To begin with, I must stress that we only used our room, and spoke to staff on the reception area. I’ve no idea on the quality of the rooftop bar nor restaurant at the hotel. Location: We booked knowing that this was in the Financial district, but I was elated with the location. We got the air-train & subway from JFK and the hotel is just a few blocks from Fulton Street Subway station. I am a quick walker, and found that the World Trade Center was only 5 minutes from the hotel, the same with Wall Street / the waterfront which was a great location to me. There were plenty of shops / restaurants / etc. in the area (where doesn’t have that in NYC?). There was construction work taking place across the street from the hotel entrance, but never any issues with traffic or noise. Reception / Staff: We arrived in the evening on a Wednesday and the staff on reception were really welcoming as we were checking in. They were taking the time to say hello to returning guests as they came through the lobby. We experienced this ourselves whenever we returned to the hotel. It may be a small thing, but it showed good customer service to me. Room: A lot of rooms in NYC are “small” when compared to counterparts in other cities so I never expect masses of space. I was happy with the size of our room when we arrived. We were on the 21st floor, and our room was on the corner overlooking the front of the building and the construction site across the street. There was small walkway between the door to the room and the bedroom. 2 of us stayed there with 2 cases and we found enough room to move around. The bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked. We had a coffee machine and bottled water given to us for drinking. The bathroom had a shower & toiletries, and it was clear everything was clean. When I'm back in NYC, I'd happily stay here again!

I have lived in NYC 20 years, and occasionally, we like to play tourist in our own city. My husband and I decided to stay a night at the Moxy LES in celebration of my 40th birthday. I even talked another couple who were celebrating with us into getting a room too. I chose this location as I saw the beautiful roof bar advertised and thought it’d be fun to start our night with a cocktail on the roof with a few friends before setting out to my main celebration elsewhere. Having stayed at several other similar hotels in town like Sixty LES, I never had an issue grabbing a cocktail at the rooftop bar. This was not the case here. I arrived with a group of 7 to head to the Highlight Room at around 7pm (wayyy before the nightlife rush!), and was told I had “priority” as a guest of the hotel, but first I had to commit to spending $350 for us to come up. Don’t advertise your bars as an amenity of the hotel if they are not freely accessible to guests. What if my friends just wanted a nice lemonade and to check out the view?? I guess they’re not welcome or that’s a lot of lemonade we’d have to buy! Just to note: Loosie’s, the club in the basement of the hotel with the “no-attitude dancefloor” — to quote the hotel website — is notoriously snooty at the door, and guests of the hotel are not prioritized for entry there either. We had other plans that night so didn’t even bother, but word to the wise. As for the room: Yes, they’re small. Expected in NYC, and was fine for us since we were only staying 1 night, but I would not want to stay here longer than a couple days. There is no real closet. Just a few hangers on a bar on the wall (some under the television!) so your clothes kind of have to hang flat against the wall. There are cubbies under the bed for storage. Not ideal in such a tight space. I stubbed my toe on them more than once. Maybe I’m clumsy or maybe it’s just a bad design! The light situation is super weird. I don’t know if our lighting was accidentally installed incorrectly, but in order to turn the bathroom light on, you had to have the main room light on. The main room light could be turned on separately. So basically, if you needed to go in the middle of the night, you either had to pee in the dark or turn on the lights of the whole room while your partner is sleeping! (Possible we didn’t see another light switch somewhere but I’m pretty sure the only switches were 2 by the door.) Toiletries: The shower had 2 pump bottles (sustainable. I respect that!) — but one was filled with a shampoo/body wash combo — and the other conditioner. I would expect something a bit more luxe even for a 4 star hotel — and certainly a separate shampoo and body wash! There was no lotion, which is usually standard in even the Holiday Inn. There was one small bar of soap for hand washing. No places to hang towels. I had to throw mine over the top of the shower door. Towels were pretty scratchy too. They do have a steamer and hair dryer. Bless! There was no fridge

I booked a room at the last minute after my flight was cancelled, and was so impressed with everything about The Local. They were so helpful and accomodating, from my initial phone call, to letting me check in early when a room became available, to booking a cab to the airport early in the morning, at their discounted rate. The Local is situated near the iconic Gantry Park, and is walking distance from shops and sights. The rooms are well designed and super clean, and the lobby has everything a traveller needs, from computers, printer, charging area to a bar area, comfy couches, local art...and my favourite: a roof top lounge area with views of the NY skyline and Queensborough Bridge. I highly recommend staying here!

L'hôtel est situé à seulement un pâté de maisons de Times Square, c'est donc un emplacement 5*, c'est un petit bâtiment de cinq étages sans ascenseur, les chambres sont petites, la chambre de luxe est un peu plus grande - la chambre dispose d'un confortable lit, un espace pour les bagages sous le lit, une salle de bain avec produits de beauté. Il n'y a pas de bouilloire pour café/thé dans la chambre, mais il y a de nombreux magasins et restaurants à proximité. Je suis resté une nuit, donc il y avait tout ce dont j'avais besoin. Je recommande!

La YMCA de West Side est certainement un endroit sans frills pour rester, mais la situation est excellente. Vous êtes juste près du Central Park et du Columbus Circle. Times Square est une promenade facile au sud. Nous avons séjourné dans 2 chambres différentes. La chambre était très confortable et très confortable. La chambre de bains était très confortable et très confortable. Nous avons pu mettre à niveau la seconde moitié de notre séjour dans une chambre avec un lit plus grand et une salle de bains. De nouveau, cet hôtel n'est pas de frills. Il peut être gros autour des bords, mais il est propre et confortable à la fin d'une longue journée de visite. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter de l'équipe de sport, de la piscine, de la sauna, et de choses comme ça, mais ils semblaient bien. Je recommande la YMCA de la partie occidentale. Si vous visitez NYC, vous devriez faire des choses, pas vous asseoir autour de la chambre. C'est tout ce qu'on a besoin d'être.

L'hôtel est situé en face de la gare maritime, vous pouvez donc vous rendre à Manhattan en 7 minutes. C'était super! Le personnel était super gentil et la chambre était spacieuse. Le petit-déjeuner est votre petit-déjeuner d'hôtel moyen, des œufs durs froids, des fruits, des céréales et des yaourts et ces horribles sandwichs préemballés avec de la fausse viande et de faux œufs. Je reviendrais certainement ici, la vue est jolie et l'emplacement est génial!

Comme d'habitude, Marriott dépasse toujours mes attentes. Je suis arrivé tard et je me suis accueilli chaleureusement. Ils m'ont vérifié et m'ont informé quand le restaurant a fermé et ils ont fait un verre de vin et ont pris quelque chose de nourriture dans la chambre. C'était une expérience merveilleuse et relaxante.

La chambre est relativement assez grande et propre. Cependant, je n'ai vraiment pas aimé le service dans tous les aspects suivants : Réception : Il a fallu 20 minutes pour expliquer que le petit-déjeuner était inclus. J'ai montré mon e-mail et mon application où il est clairement écrit ”inclus”. Petit-déjeuner : très simple et le remplissage prend une éternité. J'ai dû dire à la serveuse de remplir le café et les autres repas qui se tenait à côté de la table et faisait défiler son téléphone portable sans saluer personne. Navette : Nous avons fait une réservation pour le bus à 12 heures et on nous a dit de sortir de l'hôtel 10 minutes avant. Le chauffeur du bus n'a pas ouvert la porte du bus et a montré ses 5 doigts pour attendre. J'ai frappé à la porte à 12 heures pour entrer mais le chauffeur était très impoli et a demandé si nous étions pressés et s'est plaint qu'il était réveillé depuis 2 heures du matin. C'était son devoir de nous emmener à l'aéroport à temps. Il s'est plaint encore et encore pendant le trajet, ce qui était incroyable. Je n'ai jamais connu un tel comportement de la part d'un chauffeur de navette. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel n'est pas un hôtel 4 étoiles ! Il est de 3 ou moins.

L’accueil est parfait, nous avons été bien renseigné, la literie est très agréable et les chambres sont propres. Il manque de la modernité dans les chambres, surtout dans la salle de bain. C’est un peu vieillot. Pour visiter New York je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Il n’y a pas de bus à proximité, l’hôtel est situé sur une grande axe de circulation. Pour sortir il faut prendre un taxi ou la navette de l’hôtel qui coûte 10$ le trajet avec des horaires fixes. Il faut rajouter un grand budget pour atteindre la ville si vous n’avez pas de location de voiture. Sinon le petit déjeuner est très copieux et le room service est très bien.
