Parkers House Bed & Breakfast

Been staying at Parkers over the past few weeks. Tina and the girls have all made me feel welcome. I have been in various rooms throughout my stay and each room have all been up to excellent standard. I have been able to have a food sleep every night due to the comfy beds. I will be booking for more weeks while I am working local and would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to others.

Beautiful B&B with stunning rooms. My husband is staying there due to working nearby. I visited for the weekend. Loved the place, the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The breakfast choice is excellent. Had full English the first morning, I couldn't finish it. The next morning eggs benedict. I would love to visit again if I'm ever back in the area. It can be lively outside as there are pubs nearby. But it's a town centre so you can expect to hear noise. I was surprised how quiet it was once in our room. The bed was so comfy, I struggled to wake in the morning. There was so much attention to detail in the room. 5*

The rooms are decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in Room 1, which has a lovely spacious en-suite with a big shower. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were all lovely products. The water was always a good temperature, and so was the bedroom, as we could open a window or use the heater as we liked. It was so nice to have the window seat in the room overlooking the town, and the bed was extremely comfortable, we slept very well every night we were there. The breakfasts were great each morning, and the staff we’re always very friendly and helpful at breakfast, and via text message and email. The B&B has a self check in and check out system, and the staff were very good at explained how it all worked to me on my first visit. It was good to be able to access the breakfast room at any time, as we didn’t want to eat in the room. It was nice for us to be able to quietly come and go as we liked, and the central location was perfect for us as we don’t drive (easy to access from town, the bus station and train station, and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near by). We will definitely be staying here again when we visit family in the future. Thank you!

Everything about this B&B was great. Very luxurious. Spotlessly clean, lots of little touches. Great night's sleep. Much better than a hotel chain. Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice, everything freshly made. Staff very polite and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. We've already booked our next stay.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Tastefully decorated room and some nice touches for arriving guests. Great breakfast which was provided in the in-house cafe. Easy to find and acess information for parking and building very helpful

The building is immaculate rooms ect however the customer service is absolutely appalling.very rude I think if you want your establishment to have the rules it has it should state it beforehand. Shame because your have obviously worked hard but rudeness is a no go for me Manners cost nothing

Beautiful B&B. Room immaculate and very cosy but not small. Finishing touches really nice (fruit and chocolate!). Solid wood furniture (oak I think). Air con if needed in cupboard. Very quiet ! Breakfast really lovely and plenty of it and offered more but was too full ! Tea and coffee in room and fresh milk. Shower large and with fluffy towels. Tina and the two girls (don’t know their names but they worked hard ! Everywhere from cleaning to serving breakfast). You can tell it’s a truly family run business and the little touches like text messages recommending where to eat etc was really nice. One down side… if you struggle with stairs request room one ! We was in room 6 which is at the top ! However this didn’t affect our stay. Will stay again !

This is probably the best B&B I've ever stayed in. It doesn't look that special from the outside, but is really luxurious inside. Excellent central location with free (and easily accessible) parking. Lovely and quiet. Warm, tasteful room and really comfy bed. Nice modern bathroom and the Eggs Florentine I had for breakfast was superb. Thank you, I will definitely be back!

Next to a nightclub so impossible to sleep. Not exactly 5-star. It’s self check-in like an AirBnB. Oh and if you leave a bad review on any platform they write smarmy message a your person phone. I reported them to ***********. Quite alarming to have such messages just for leaving a bad review.
