Noosa Pacific Resort

In hospitality, excellent hosts provide unexpected "surprise and delight" features for their guests. Unfortunately, Noosa Pacific provides "surprise and disappoint" instead. Out the outset, let me confirm the actual apar**ent was excellent .. clean, well furnished and a good size. However, we were there for four nights, and were supplied one 30mm square tablet of soap and one tube of shampoo between two people. On the third day when we requested additional supplies the request was denied with the comment that additional provisions would only be issued for stays seven days and over. Most unsatisfactory, as was the supply of coffee, again exhausted by day two. We also did not appreciate being woken at 7.30am each morning by the groundsman using his blower vac. By contrast, we then went on to Hervey Bay staying at Villa Venetzia on The Esplanade for four nights. The apar**ent, although considerably cheaper, was larger and equally well equipped, but in contrast to Noosa Pacific, enough toiletries and beverages to last weeks. As is our May habit, we will return next year, and we know where we won't stay in Noosa and where we will stay in Hervey Bay.

I came to the conclusion that the resort is understaffed. The reason I say this is because it was hard to find staff anywhere. The apar**ent we stayed in was pleasant enough, however it was disappointing to find belongings from the previous guests in the drawers in our wardrobe and in the washing machine. We were supplied with a single toilet roll for our 5 day stay and not enough towels. The staff member I spoke to was so rude. I think she may have been management of some degree. She was very abrupt and rude and highly unprofessional in her manner (blonde younger lady with glasses). She needs to go back to customer service school.

Firstly, WOW. Noosa Pacific Resort has outdone themselves. We just (unfortunately) left the resort this morning, with a very heavy heart. After a lot of research for the perfect stay in Noosa, I couldn’t seem to get past the surreal photos and excellent reviews, and decided to take the chance. From the initial booking, to queries that I sent before the stay, to the remarkable effort to have our apar**ent ready ahead of check in - we were already feeling very spoilt having wonderful service before even stepping foot into the apar**ent. No amount of personal description could do the apar**ent and the views justice, you need to experience with yourself. We got goosebumps opening the front door. The huge glass doors that open up to the best outlook. The apar**ent was clean, modern, and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need, and the furniture was so comfortable. The pool area was exceptional. That view, the comfy poolside furniture, and the maintenance of the gardens were stunning. The little beach at low tide was a bonus for the kids, and the sun lounger along the timber boardwalk was our favourite sundowner spot each evening. Location is spot on, a very short walk to Gympie Tce, for picnics with views, boat hire, cafes, restaurants, playgrounds, and a lovely walk to Hastings Street for the beach. We’re already checking the calendar to see when we can get back. Thanks NP, this is everything we needed after a really rough couple of years! Was worth the wait for a holiday.

What a terrible place. Been going there for 14 years. My dad was in intensive care 3 weeks prior to our trip. We tried cancelling the 2 week accommodation we had due to his illness and couldn’t travel but was told we can not refund your $5,600 as it is too late notice. Desk staff are the rudest person I have ever dealt with. We gave management a letter from the doctor at the hospital stating my dad was very ill which the reply was sorry hope he gets better. Don’t know how these people sleep at night knowing they have taken so much money off my elderly parents.

Loved this place, we had amazing views of the river with water craft action all day. Our apar**ent had steps down to a small river beach, the magnificent riverfront pool and bbq facilities. You could not get better views anywhere, the apar**ent was spacious and well appointed. A tiny down side was that we did not have a car and it’s a bit of a way to cafes and shops, however we took the ferry into Hastings street and I believe there is a bus nearby, would definitely return

We are return clients who will not return.Apparently under new management.one is required to pay upfront an onerous deposit. Not advised of renovation works in adjacent unit noise to the level of 80 to 100 dB. This has occurred six of the 15 days thus far of our one month holiday. We were offered no alternatives to the situation.If we had been notified we would have had the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. The managements claim that they were not notified in time is not plausible.

The apar**ents are on the water half way between Noosa Heads and Noosa Junction, with delightful, north facing views across the river to the heads. the apar**ent in which we stayed was very comfortable, well furnished, appointed and equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The facilities of the block were very good, with a delightful swimming pool, a small beach with access to the water, pleasant lounging areas and barbecues which were kept immaculately clean.

We booked a 'townhouse'. This was actually a 2-level apar**ent, part of the main apar**ent building, not a separate townhouse. That might be ok if that's what you're expecting, but if you're hoping for the advertised privacy and tranquillity, then look elsewhere. I provided the following feedback to the management of the hotel before writing this review. They told me they would revisit misleading aspects of the marketing materials. As nothing has changed on the website, I'm providing my remarks here to clarify the situation for anyone considering a 'townhouse': Our expectation of a ‘townhouse’ was that it would be a separate building, two levels high, part of a group of similar buildings – perhaps with common walls to another townhouse. This is the general understanding of the word townhouse. The accommodation you provided was actually a two-level apar**ent on the ground floor of the apar**ent block and should be advertised that way. We were not expecting to have apar**ents overhead. The acoustic insulation was poor with substantial noise from above including banging and dragging furniture. Misleading wording from your website includes the following: General description For those desiring a little more privacy and exclusivity, step into the fully self-contained Waterfront Townhouse, a contemporary residence… This suggests that the townhouse is away from the other apar**ents, which it is not. It is certainly not self-contained, being part of the same building as other apar**ents. Features • Your own separate entry from the rest of the Noosaville resort This implies that the townhouses are separated from the apar**ent building and other accommodation which is incorrect. The apar**ent we stayed in is part of the same building as all other apar**ents. When I questioned the term ‘separate entry’ with Mel, she explained that it means that you can get into the flat from street/garden level without going through the main building. Not only is this misleading but it covers what is actually a disadvantage. Lack of access from the car park made loading/unloading luggage difficult and open to the elements. There should also be some warning that this access is not level, requiring some steps. If you're coming with family or friends and don't mind noise around you, then this is probably a good place to stay. if you want something quieter, this isn't the place - the townhouse does not provide that option.

I would not recommend staying here. The resort has aged awfully (nothing like the photos), the staff are incredibly rude, and the floor we stayed on had a disgusting smell the entire stay that has almost soaked into the carpet. I will not be staying again. If you visited when years back, it definitely isn't the same. In addition, the resort will attempt to charge you for everything. We had a few e-cigarette vapes that were left in the kitchen, and the resort charged us $250 for smoking on the grounds? We never smoked on the grounds. Ever. So apparently actually BEING a smoker they will charge you for that. Like $350 a night for rude staff and dirty grounds, horrible smelling level floors wasn't already enough. This resort is close to a joke and it's only a matter of time before they completely fire the management and hire a new team when the rating for hostel, sorry hotel, his 4 stars.
