I am sure that every unit is different but this is what we experiences in PH07, Bahama Sands, North Myrtle Beach. The unit has obvious wear and tear as you would expect of a rental on the beach. The unit had 3 double beds, a king bed and possibly a hide-a-bed. It was a nice size and the air conditioning worked well. All rooms had ceiling fans. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Three bathrooms. All satisfactory for a beach vacation. The usual musty smell from the beach. The balcony was large, accommodating 8 chairs. The unit came with 4 plastic chairs and 2 small plastic endtables. The bedding was adequate and there were plenty of towels. The unit was quiet though we smelled cigarettes and **** daily when we were on the balcony. Strict no smoking policy that is in no way enforced. The main complain I have is that for several thousand dollars weekly, the unit was stocked the cheapest of any condo I have ever been in. The cabinets were 90% empty. There is an oven, but no oven mitt so bring your own or use the bath towels. There are no scissors or even a bottle opener so bring those too. There were plates and bowls and coffee cups. About 8 settings of silverware and 3-4 pots. There were a few basic kitchen utensils so if you are creative, you will be ok. There is a toaster and a basic coffee pot. Oh yes, there was salt and pepper. We were supplied with one trash bag to last a week, one pod for dishes and one pod for laundry. We had to buy scissors, a can opener, garbage bags, laundry and dishwashing detergent and extra toilet paper. I used towels to get baked goods out of the oven. Oh, we were given 1/2 of a sponge (literally cut in two) for the kitchen. Be careful with the toilet paper supply too. For $15 at a garage sale, this kitchen could have been adequately furnished. As we found it, you literally need to bring your own kitchen supplies from home to function here. The remote in the living room didn't have batteries so bring those too! Having a properly supplied kitchen would have made our stay much more enjoyable. Like I said, the condo was what I expected, not pristine (they all have some age on them) and beach living is tough on condos but the lack of amenities was a major drawback for us. In a week we had to hit Walmart three times to get what we would have expected to be provided. Cheap.
