When checking out and attempting to pay with a credit card, we were told that "card machine is not working" and need to pay in cash. When we said that we have limited cash, they told us to go to the Italian Post Office A**. We paid in cash. Our car was idling outside and, in a rush to get going, we did not get a receipt. I am not even sure they had printer or computer in the tiny reception space of that B&B. Back home I gave them a good review on ***********. To great surprise, one month later we see that our credit card is charged for the full amount. Reported the issue to *********** Customer Support They promised that Italian speaking person will contact Trigona to resolve it by issuing a credit back to credit card. No reply for one week. I submitted other complaints to ***********. No reply other that confirmation of submission. No follow up. No refund. At this point I am ready to report this Trigona transaction as fraud and scam and ask all hotel reservation systems to remove Trigona from their websites. I'll also report Trigona as a scam to major credit cards and Noto police. Amount charged for one night was 110 Euro, so it is a total mystery why Trigona is risking their reputation for such small amount
