Nalaka, Shashi and Nagesh very much made us feel at home; the cottage is most tastefully laid out and comfortable, and the kind service and willingness to please and provide the best possible service is a testament to the dedication of the team that manages Kent Cottage. We had English Breakfast for the first time and then Sri Lankan breakfast. The hoppers, curries, and dal were delectable. I can recommend this cottage unreservedly to anyone seeking a unique experience

Amazing place to rest and enjoy Nuwara Eliya. The room was so quiet, confortable and clean. Nalaka, the host, is a really good person and he was so helpful. Also, the food was absolutly delicious. I recommend 100%. Thank you very much for everything you did for us

Little England is stunning in itself, but Kent Cottage is truly the cherry on top. Located just 15 minutes away from Lake Gregory and the main town, this property is nothing short of a dream. We stayed in the Loft Suite, and though it was priced at 60,000 LKR, it was worth every single penny. The loft suite was enormous, like a penthouse mansion, and equipped with every luxury amenity you could ask for. The highlight of our stay was the fully functional hot jacuzzi with breathtaking views, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serene surroundings. The room had elegant touches, including large decorative candles, which enhanced the ambiance and added a cozy, aesthetic vibe to the space. The views from the room and the beautifully maintained roads within the township were nothing short of magical. Now, let’s talk about the hospitality—and it was second to none. Nalaka and his crew went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. To celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, they surprised us with a beautiful cake, a gesture that made us feel truly special. The food was another highlight. We had the chance to enjoy both authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and a classic English breakfast, and both were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the quality was impeccable. Traveling with our 14-month-old child, we found the cottage to be incredibly family-friendly. Every detail of our stay was tailored to make us feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. For anyone looking to experience luxury and elegance in Little England, Kent Cottage is an absolute must. You won’t be disappointed! A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone at Kent Cottage for being a part of our journey and making our stay so special. This will remain one of our most cherished memories!

We booked the “Deluxe 1 King Bed Suite, Jacuzzi” of Kent cottage - Little England cottages 🥳 It’s a beautiful place with a Jacuzzi for ourselves ♥️ Spacious with modern and antique furniture. Friendly staff. 😍 Ps - Getting a plain tea as the welcome drink was quite disappointing though🙈 Maybe consider flavoured tea? 😌

One of the best places we’ve stayed in Nuwar Eliya. Beautiful scenery and amazing interior. Really enjoyed our stay at Kent. The manager Mr. Nalaka was super friendly and make us feel like home. Very relaxing environment and good vibes. Highly recommend to anyone who wants wish to stay in N’eliya!!! Couldn’t take our eyes off of the beautiful environment at Kent cottage. The food was great. Everything about kent is beyond our expectations ♥️ you must visit there!!!

Well overpriced for the quality of the accommodation. We felt ripped off from our experience here. It was old and dirty and required maintenance in many areas. We stayed in the upstairs room, which had no air conditioner and we couldn't open the windows because of mosquito’s. The breakfast was just ok and the staff were nice but I would steer clear of this place.

We thought we were in England when we saw Kent Cottage. It is authentic, charming, quiet and beautifully maintained. Our room was bright, cheerful and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka-a real English breakfast and all we wanted to eat. The manager was helpful and kind, catering to our every wish. It felt like a home away from home!

My husband Dr Miranda made a reservation for us two weeks prior at the loft with a jacuzzi for the 13th -14th Aug 2023 and paid an advance of Rs.30,000/- Reservation was made by Udari at reservations. My husband called 2 days prior and a day prior to the arrival requesting if the room is confirmed. Udari at reservations confirmed the booking. Upon arrival, after 6 hrs of driving! we were informed that another booking had been made for a foreign Nationality for the same day and same room. Although we arrived first, they refused to offer us the room mentioning that there’s another booking and without our permission they had downgraded our booking to two double rooms. Such a disappointment! We had to look for another place to stay for the night after wasting our time in this place. No response from the reservations, NOT even an APOLOGY or the REASON FOR NOT GIVING US THE ROOM EVEN AFTER WE ARRIVED FIRST! A Foreign National was given the priority instead of the Sri Lankan Nationality. Very disappointed! Very disgusting and poor service. Not profesional at all. Never recommend this place. Poor service. We will be filling an Official Complaint with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, for Discrimination against Sri Lankan National Customers

Loved it!! I did my solo trip to nuwaraeliya, I told the hotel in advance I’ll be arriving by train. Nalaka was so considerate he’d call and check whereabouts I am and if I’m able to reach the hotel safely. The hotel itself was stunning, amazing Victorian interior designing, I loved it. But, what I loved the most was the staff and the food. Even the service given by Saman was exceptional, they helped me with transportation too. Last but not least the FOOD!! Must try Sri Lankan food! It’s all home made, the uncle who makes the food is so nice, and I can’t tell how authentic Sri Lankan cuisine it was. The best Sri Lankan food I’ve had!

Nice hotel in a gated compound of fairytale english cottages just a 5min (400Rs) tuktuk drive from nuwara eliyah centre. Comfortable room with fancy bathroom and full english breakfast. Very friendly staff! Would recommend if your looking for a different kind of place to stay from usual hotels
