Cet ensemble de bungalows est situé le long d'un lac et offre une très belle vue sur les Backwaters. Les bungalows eux-mêmes sont des sortes de duplex assez originaux . Vu le standing de l'établissement on a droit à un équipement et une literie haut de gamme. Personnellement nous n'avons pas trop aimé le côté très sombre du bungalow dont les bois sont pratiquement noirs et très peu de fenêtres pour éclairer l'intérieur. Pour accéder à ce resort il faut prendre une navette fluviale qui permet d'isoler ce complexe hôtelier. La clientèle est en grande majorité anglo-saxonne.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel hors du commun. L’arrivée en bateau donne le ton. Les jardins sont exceptionnels et sont fréquentes par toutes sortes d’oiseaux. Ils jouxtent les canaux ce qui permet de voir défiler les bateaux ou que vous soyez. Les bâtiments et bungalows tout en bois ont une belle architecture. Les bungalows disposent comme à Bali d’une salle de bain extérieure. Enfin les buffets du petit déjeuner et du dîner sont exceptionnels que ce soit pour la qualité ou pour le choix. À noter aussi cette sunset cruise bien agréable . De même pour le thé proposé tous les jours dans les jardins.

Une expérience paradisiaque au confort irréprochable ! Villa avec piscine privée au bord du lac. Spectacle superbe des houseboats glissant sur les canaux du lac. Personnel très à l’écoute , SPA ayurvédique de grande qualité . Restauration de qualité. Une expérience inoubliable !

Un nouveau séjour ... 10 ans plus tard. Mais rien n'a changé. L'accueil, la gentillesse, la qualité des chambres, le sourire du personnel, les soins, le restaurant ... Mille fois merci et je n'attendrai pas 10 ans pour venir à nouveau dans votre établissement. Le restaurant de poissons en plus était exceptionnel ! Le lien avec la nature environnante est remarquable. C'est un endroit où on aimerait rester ... De toutes les façons il est important de rester au moins 2 nuits dans l'établissement pour pouvoir vivre pleinement l'endroit (visite du site, bateau le soir, chasse photographique des oiseaux le matin, thé en fin d'après-midi, activités diverses et variées ...). N'hésitez pas.

We had an incredible holiday at this charming resort in India, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff and the local manager made us feel truly welcomed. The whole team from receptionists, the service for breakfast, lunch, teatime and dinner, the cooking trainers, Ayurveda massage team, the cleanig and support team up to the team on the pool, entertainment, all of them are doing everything to ensure a pleasant and unforgetable stay. And the culinary experience is exceptional; the chefs and their team are preparing daily a delightful and rich of variations and array of dishes that satisfied our taste palete very much, and with special attention to my health concerns. Finally, we would like to thank very much for the warmth of the entire team, and we know, that we bring home to Austria brilliant memories of our wonderful time here. R. & R.

Beautiful location set on the Appelley backwaters. Friendly staff and clean rooms but they are quite dated. We stayed in one of the bungalows. I loved the outside bathroom but it was a bit of a tripping hazard for my 75yr old mother to get to especially during the night. Beds were awful. About 3ft off the floor which is not ideal for an elderly/less agile person to get in/out of. Also they were very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a hard board. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the only thing that lets this place down is the beds.

Location is amazing. Sleepy backwater just what we needed after our 9 day golden triangle tour. Service was amazing. All staff, housekeeping, ground staff, and all in the restaurant were well presented, attentive, and excellent. Special mention to Hari Krishna who replenished the stock of Kingfisher beer …. You are asked not to tip individuals rather than leave a donation at the end of the stay which will be distributed to all staff. Lots of activities on offer, but equally relaxing if that's your goal. Would recommend.

Coconut Lagoon is SUCH a beautiful gem, a stunning place and amazing experience of Kerala's finest cuisine and resort embedded deep in nature and wellness!! Truly an escape from the hustle bustle of daily life! The staff were sweet and extremely helpful, one such person i would always remember is Shynima and Hari who always made sure i was comfortable and taken good care of. HATS OFF to all the staff for working so hard and taking such good care of everything and the guests. The food was amazing and the rooms were so gorgeous, my friends and i were baffled. Will definitely come next year!!

Coconut Lagoon is perfect spot for when you want luxury and best in class hospitality. Having visited them in 2019, with my family, where we had stayed in 3 lake facing villas for 2 nights, I had experienced an amazing time. This time I decided to come here with my wife, immediately after our wedding to experience some peace and calmness in the lush green property of Coconut Lagoon. We once again stayed in the villa that has a private pool. The staff was very warm and courteous. Few names I would surely like to mention are Mr. Thomas and Mr. Akhil at Reception. Chefs Jerry and John who made the most scrumptious meals and Mr. Anurag and Mr. Amal FB service. Special shoutout to Dr. Haris from Ayurveda centre. I was having a bad body ache and Dr. Haris and his team provided with one of the best massages I’ve experienced. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to explore Kumarakom and the famous backwaters of Kerala.
