First room they put us in was completely dirty. They had us switch . Second room seemed clean but when I got ready to get in bed there was a tissue with menstrual blood on it. I was sickened . -10000/10

Room a solid 'eh.' Beds some of the worst I've been on in a long time. A swayback horse had less of a droop compared to those mattresses. Hotel was found to be a little cleaner than others have experienced.

The receptionist was very polite and helpful in addressing the hotel’s unforced errors during my stay. My first room, which was actually quite nice, had a door that did not lock whatsoever. I could just push open the door as the key card never worked as evidenced with the flashing red light on the door lock. The receptionist came up to verify the faulty lock. This is something that would be hard to overlook by housekeeping. I was then moved to a room on the floor below because they weren’t able to fix the lock of my original room’s door. The second room was smaller, and had no operating exhaust fan. It was so damp that the wallpaper had to be re-glued to the bathroom wall and mildew was growing behind the bathroom artwork’s glass pane. When I experience moisture issues, I become concerned that so many other potential cleanliness issues exist, whether they do or don’t. It’s not becoming of a Marriott property, and I am beginning to wonder what this Titanium status that I’ve been “awarded” actually means.

So I just paid $270 for one (admittedly Saturday) night at the Courtyard by Marriott in Oxford, Alabama. It may just be this room but it’s small and weirdly configured, not enough space for a $270 room. The bathroom is a little off, the toilet takes 5 minutes for the tank to fill (and does so in bursts, making it seem like a malfunction). Shower design is very easy to get water on the floor and very hard not to. The shower handle was a little flaky, too. There is a little sculpture thing that’s kind of fancy but insufficient surface space, hard to find places to put things. No built in USB chargers that I could see. The key-writer was broken up front and they had to go do the keys somewhere else. Every time I went to the front desk I had to wait for someone to show up. The are where they sell drinks and snacks (there are no vending machines) was woefully understocked. The up and down on the thermostat are backwards from most thermostats and the arrows were rubbed off. We also needed an extra pillow, and they didn’t have any. A hotel without extra pillows. In general, the hotel itself and the room we were in (and apparently others) are in need of general maintenance, and possibly some updating? Anyway, I just paid more for this room than I paid (corporate rate) for a nicer room in Walt Disney World (the Dolphin) also owned by Marriott. This place can’t hold a candle to the Dolphin. It is not remotely worth $270. It might be worth $170 or maybe $200 because the clear tendency of the surrounded hotels to be booked . . . But $270? Well, I paid it for the underwhelming and un-maintained accommodations. But come on, Marriott. You can do better for the money. Would not recommend to anyone unless they really had no other choice.

This hotel was more expensive than surrounding hotels however everyone was booked. This is a very old hotel, just disappointed in the nightly rate for the appearance of stains all over their floors in the halls, carpet was not intact. The wallpaper is peeling off the wall in the bathroom. I was hot all night had ac on 65

We had a very nice stay. The room was clean, the beds were nice, the air worked great. We also enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The water was very warm and made it a relaxing a**osphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a confirmed reservation for a suite. Drove a couple of hours with children who were excited to stay in a suite and enjoy tge indoor pool. Arrived early and was told tge manager, Rondell, had given our reservation to someone else. Was told a reservation does not guarantee you a room! Hilton - you can do better than this!!!Rondell avoided us. They did offer us a room at a sister hotel several miles away but no indoor pool. Had to call corporate to get a room in the location where our reservation was but NOT a suite because Rondell gave them away. What a disappoin**ent snd horrible service by the general manager- Rondell. Avoid this location because a reservation doesn’t guarantee you a room( according to Rondell)

Safe, clean, seemed new. Nice staff at front desk. I’d stay at this property again. It was very safe and I didn’t notice any issue in the hotel. The staff at the front desk was very nice. I remember it was easily convenient from the interstate. No issues

Stayed 1 night on business in Anniston. The property is off the interstate and depending on the room, it can be noisy… in fact you can feel the vibration of a large trucks goes by. The property clean and the staff are very friendly. Small gym and the pool was closed but that wasn’t a big deal. They gave me an upgrade to an suite which was nice but the sound of the highway took a bit a bit of getting used to. I was tired and looking for a salad. They didn’t have any as it was “pizza” night but the bartender put together a salad using the pizza ingredient like arugula, tomatoes, peppers etc and some grilled chicken. All in all it was continent and the room was comfortable.
