Avis : My Motel

Nice hotel, kind staff and nice facilities, easy to access Glasgow by train or bus,

I originally had 4 nights booked in. Checked out after the first night. Not in a clean area, there was always a bad stench inside and outside. The room we were given was different to what the photos were in the booking. The bed was smaller than the description on booking, we were given a double instead of a king bed. The bathroom was different to what was in the booking, there was no barrier between the shower and the toilet so water was everywhere! Avoid this place at all costs!

Advertised as My.Motel Glasgow airport but it is nowhere near the airport a £10 taxi drive which I suppose isn't bad. Functional room which was spotlessly clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, they upgraded me from a single bed to a king size which was great. I ordered a JustEat to the motel as It was a good 25 minutes walk to nearest eaterie. Cheap and cheerful, however not sure I would stay again. Plenty parking in the street which saved on airport parking fees.

Basic but clean, big walk-in shower. A comfy king-size bed. Don't do food, ok for somewhere to put your head down.

The room is clean, I like everything about the place unfortunately there was no fridge in the room to store my food for work the next day.

I have truly never stayed in a worse hotel in my life. Even as a motel the state of it was unexpected. upon checking in and receiving our room, we realised it did not lock. we went to reception to ask for a new room which actually locked, to this the man on reception told us no it does lock, after going back and forth of him trying to gaslight us that it did lock i finally convinced him to come up and let us show him that it doesn’t. He saw it didn’t lock and said oh yeah it doesn’t well i haven’t got any other rooms, no body will come in anyway though. no apologies nothing. after telling him i’m not staying in a room that doesn’t lock he magically appeared a new room after saying he doesn’t have any. we were given a room with no windows (after paying more for a city view window) which was like a sauna. no air conditioning in the room, we asked if they had fans in reception, they didn’t. we slept with wet towels on ourselves because trust me it was THAT hot. but atleast this room locked.

Used this motel a dew times now, and some great fundamental improvements.. My previous reviews were honest, as is this.. For the money, this is spot on... Huge staff improvements.. Which is, for me, what reviews should be about. Clean, friendly and personal reception.. I'll be back, Half hour walk to airport and on street parking.

Quite simply, I booked this place by accident, the DAY BEFORE I was staying. BY MISTAKE... MY MISTAKE I ADD.. But cancelled within 5 minutes. THEY STILL CHARGED ME!!!! I was so angry I went to, well what they called 'reception'.. NO ONE WPOKE ENGLISH. AND NO ONE GAVE A TOSS!.. AVOID... like a poo filled toilet. YES... NO ONE SPOK ENGLISH. IN THE MIDDLE OF MY COUNTRY.. SCOTLAND... A COMPLETE JOKE.. £81...!!

Terrible, more like a homeless shelter open all night than a hotel/motel, shame on trips.com to list it on your website! Noisy, bad area, very spartan room.
