This is a hidden gem!!! We were looking for a place to our wedding. when I first saw this place, it I was perfect for our wedding. we rented the whole place for the weekend. The architectural design and the beauty of the place is magnificent. Every body thought the place was stunning at Chris**as time. The Inn keeper Tate was great! The place was beautiful for our wedding

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, just a couple hours from home. A gorgeous venue, very hospitable, and such attention to detail. As a quick getaway with the husband, we couldn't have asked for more. Would return in a heartbeat.

Everything about Grand Gables Inn is outstanding. The rooms, the service, the breakfast, the location, the Inn Keepers - all - well just outstanding! To anyone travelling to or near Palatka, FL, we highly recommend a stay at this beautiful, historic Inn.

We went to the Grand Gables Inn overnight for our 56 wedding anniversary. The place is absolutely gorgeous. When we pulled up to the Inn the view was outstanding. We had the large suite downstairs, included Pauline’s parlor nice size bedroom, huge bathroom and foyer. The decor was amazing I love old houses and the Inn had a lot of character. Tate and Jesse were super houses. We were given the grand tour of the entire house. I was mesmerized by the rooms, decor, antiques and the history of the Inn. I would stay there again.

I needed to visit Palatka for a funeral and was so pleased to find the Grand Gables B&B. The house is absolutely beautiful and my room was very comfortable. Tate and his daughter are so very thoughtful, taking care to meet all my needs; even accommodating a very late arrival. I heartily recommend staying there.

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Gables Inn. The location is great, and we very much enjoyed learning the history of the house! It’s a beautiful inn, and the owners have thought of everything for the comfort of their guests. The breakfast and coffee were also perfect. We would have happily spent several more days there!

Beautiful historic B&B in the heart of town 1 block from the St John’s river. Enjoyed our stay very much & would highly recommend a lg family stay to rent the whole place out! Very charming & owners were helpful & know history of the hse & had an interesting tour of it!

This was our second visit, different room. It is a gorgeous Inn! take a look at the pics, It looks like a castle from Disney. So beautifully decorated for Chris**as. The room was clean, comfortable, cozy. Mr. Tate is such a gentleman and very kind, he offered us a ride from and to the train station. We truly recommend this B&B Inn. if you plan to go to St. Augustine and travel by train, your stop would be in Palatka. Stay there, you will be amazed! And this place is also so close to the Ravine State Garden, that is so beautiful. Thank you!

Elegant trip back in time with courteous interesting owner and staff Everyone should take the entire property tour from Gentleman Tate as we call him Note for some like myself - Air conditioning was modern and at any level you desired
