Marlin Waters Beachfront Apartments

Quiet, relaxing well appointed modern style self contained apartment, right opposite the beach. Perfect spot next to all amenities. Huge thanks to Rhonda and Chris for being so welcoming and friendly. Appreciated the late check out. Will definitely look forward to staying there again.

A well-appointed, comfortable, quiet and conveniently situated apartment with a nice balcony and a lovely view. The managers were incredibly helpful and friendly, with Rhonda's local knowledge and willingness to assist in any way possible really adding to our enjoyment there.

Great position, right in the centre of all the best bars and eateries. Apartment was very spacious with a nice separate lounge. All facilities were excellent including a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful.

Wow! Just wow. We stayed on the 3rd floor, apartment 16. This apartment is divine. Fantastic location, beach views and everything inside new with tasteful furnishings. Pool area was lovely. Marlin Waters is close to so many restaurants, all within a 10 minute walk. Across the road is the patrolled swimming beach with stinger nets. And there's a lift and undercover parking out the back. The hosts at Marlin Waters were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place to stay in Palm Cove.

Good location on the front opposite the beach and swimming section. Friendly welcome from the caretakers. Room not good. Smelled of toilets. The kitchen sink smelled of halitosis. Dated throughout with old and in some cases damaged furniture. Sheets were crisp and white but small dead flies in bed - not so nice. The pool is by far the most uninviting I’ve ever seen. We were booked to stay for 5 nights but only stayed 1 we just didn’t feel comfortable and then found far superior accommodation for less money.

· On arrival the property manger was so helpful and told us all about the local area, but once in the apartment we were extremely disappointed, there was dead flies in the bed, the smell from the drains within the bathroom and kitchen was horrendous, the outside light was in dangerous state and the furniture is very dated and damaged. We were due to stop for 5 nights but found alternative accommodation after only stopping the one night as we couldn't sleep in bed that had dead flies in it and with the smell throughout the apartment. Rhonda the property manager did say she would of put us in a better apartment, but we feel all guests should get a good standard of apartment from the start and not be moved from a inferior apartment to a better apartment should you complain. We fully paid for the 5 nights but only stopped the one and have requested a refund for the nights we didn't stop but this has been refused. The property owners need to update the apartment to a higher standard, to stop this happening to other paid guests. *********** have given us a 10% compensation of the full booking cost as they say the property is not to their standard, but they are unable to get the property owner to refund us the nights we didn't stop. Currently in an apartment at Marlin Waters as my partner and I write this review! Clean, fresh furnishings with a cosy and luxurious master bedroom with a beautiful beach aesthetic. Washing machine/dryer, pool, a fridge bigger than I am, tv, great air conditioning (this is important after living in cooler Victoria for awhile) and so much more - oh! And a generous balcony space for drinking coffee in the morning. And the location is perfect. A little dangerous in fact. Dangerous on the bank account because of how close it is to the restaurants and shops! But we certainly aren’t complaining! And beautiful beachfront views! We absolutely love it! Without a doubt, best apartment I have stayed at in Palm Cove!

We are regular visitors to Palm Cove but stayed for the first time at Marlin Waters. Highly recommend The apartments could not be in a better position, straight across from the patrolled beach and close to many restaurants The view is awesome Apartment was very clean and comfortable.... absolutely no complaints Thanks Rhonda for making us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back

Wow, where do i start. 3rd floor, room 16. That view when you walk in. Great position opposite the patrolled beach with net, next door to surfclub. Numerous restaurants to dine at. There is a lift , great clean pool. Hosts were so accommodating. Would return here next visit. For the position, view etc, great value compared to other accommodation. Residence was comfortable & clean. Only the slightest negative was we arrived late at night & would of loved some milk in the fridge for a coffee, but we survived. Don' t hesitate in booking here, you wont regret it 😉
