IInvitéL'hôtel est vraiment exceptionnel. Nous y étions allés spécialement pour la Coupe d'Asie, et les installations, l'hygiène, l'environnement et le service étaient tous excellents. Un grand merci à Lina, dont le service était incroyablement attentionné et prévenant, avec de petites attentions quotidiennes qui ont rendu notre séjour pour la Coupe d'Asie parfait (Sun Yingsha et Wang Chuqin ont remporté le championnat, et nous avons également passé un excellent moment à faire du shopping à la boutique hors taxes). Si j'ai l'occasion de retourner à Haikou, je choisirai sans hésiter le Zhizhou Luxury Hotel.

FFoo trip reviewThe rooms are new but The environment outside the rooms and lobby are not great. Problem is u must get past the old main building to get to the hotel lobby. So the entire ambience is ruined.
The hotel lobby and amenities were good and new. But the lift interior from ground floor to the hotel lobby (level 8) were so old.
Service stuff: v polite and tried their best to answer all questions. Front desk was prompt in attending to my requests.
Unfortunately, it was a little harder to sleep through at times because the room was near the elevator (?). It sounded like pulley machines were operating around 5/6am. I really don’t know what it was.
Overall, I would still give atour chain a chance since they seem to put in effort in terms of their amenities and keeping the room clean but I would lookout for one that is in a much better location and where the building is much newer. r

🛏️ La chambre est large et propre, le lit est doux et confortable, la lumière est douce et l'expérience du sommeil est très bonne ✨
🌐 Espace de salon ouvert, sol de marbre avec une lampe de râpe fine, ambiance avancée et chaude 🌟
🍜 Le petit déjeuner est riche, la soupe chaude est belle, pleine, chaque bouche est satisfaisante 😋
🍳 Production de cuisine ouverte sur le terrain, nourriture fraîche, personnel de service intime 👏
☕ Le secteur du café est complet, le paysage urbain à l'extérieur de la fenêtre est inexistant, la cérémonie du matin est remplie de 🌞

MManimanihongC'était notre premier séjour au Sofitel Haikou. Le personnel du salon exécutif a pris l'initiative de nous contacter via WeChat et a organisé notre chambre en fonction de nos besoins. Ils nous ont même envoyé un guide de voyage pratique quand ils ont su que nous partions en excursion. La chambre était excellente, l'hôtel est très récent et nous avons beaucoup aimé le style de décoration. L'hôtesse du salon était très réactive et a enregistré rapidement notre plaque d'immatriculation. Au moment du départ, ils nous ont demandé nos impressions sur le séjour. Il y a eu un petit incident au petit-déjeuner, mais après l'avoir signalé à l'hôtesse du salon, ils ont rapidement trouvé une solution à notre entière satisfaction. Nous choisirons de revenir ici lors de notre prochaine visite à Haikou.

From the moment I set foot in MOS Hotel Haikou, I knew I was in for a unique experience. The atmosphere is simply enchanting, with a sense of tranquility that envelops you right from the lobby. The clever architectural design showcases bespoke touches that only a true connoisseur of hospitality would appreciate. I found myself drawn to the Garden Restaurant, where I could unwind with a cup of coffee amidst lush greenery, soaking in the inspiration of my surroundings.
The hotel is situated on Hainan, the southernmost tropical island in China, offering a delightful fusion of nature and culture. The fragrant air carries hints of the island’s unique aroma, creating a refreshing ambiance that enhances your stay. The Garden Restaurant is a culinary highlight, serving exquisite Chinese dishes that tantalize the taste buds, complemented by a delightful morning breakfast that fuels your adventures.
What truly sets MOS Hotel Haikou apart is its film-friendly location, making it a perfect place for film and creatives to stay! It’s great for my film crew and talent to experience everything that a boutique hotel can offer. The picturesque settings are ideal for Insta-worthy photos, allowing you to capture the essence of your stay in stunning visuals. I was particularly impressed by the bespoke details throughout the hotel, which add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall experience.
The exceptional service provided by the hotel manager and staff made all the difference. They attended to my VIP requests with remarkable care and attention to detail, ensuring that my needs were met with utmost precision. The hotel manager went above and beyond with personalized off-property recommendations, guiding me to the best local gems—from a vibrant jazz bar to a charming walking street and an exquisite French restaurant. Every recommendation was a real treat, showcasing true VVIP bespoke butler-style service that made my trip even more special.
I have traveled extensively across Asia, and I can confidently say that MOS Hotel Haikou holds a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Moreover, during my stay, I was fortunate enough to participate in special edition events that showcased the island's vibrant culture and creativity. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and inspiration, making my visit even more memorable.
As a film studio executive, I can say with certainty that MOS Hotel Haikou exceeded all my expectations and more. I left with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration, and I cannot wait to return to this extraordinary haven. WwzbettyExcellent rapport qualité-prix ! J'y étais allée il y a presque dix ans, à l'ouverture, et les environs étaient alors assez déserts. Cette fois-ci, j'ai trouvé les installations très complètes, les chambres bien entretenues et pas du tout vieillottes. Ma famille et moi avons séjourné dans une chambre avec une vue imprenable sur une cocoteraie, en basse saison, et nous avons également profité d'un bain thermal très relaxant (il y avait tellement de bassins ! Je recommande vivement le hammam, c'était un vrai bonheur). Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et varié. Le responsable, M. Yin, a tout organisé à la perfection.

UUtilisateur anonymeOverall a pleasant stay for us at this local hotel, which was one of the few that’s able to accommodate my wife and I plus our 3 children, in two connecting rooms. We stayed over 5 nights in this property. It served our purpose perfectly for a short stay at a convenient location served directly by a bus service with the airport.
We arrived hours ahead due to changes in flight schedule, but the front desk was very generous and checked us in as soon as the rooms were ready, that's great customer service 👍 The rooms were large and well stocked with the necessary essentials including rubber slippers. There were 2 bathrooms+toilets as well as an additional standalone WC ~ more than enough for our use and made the stay even more pleasant.
There was a large living room with an adjacent study area equipped with desk, chair and power outlets, that's shielded off the noise from living room - a great addition for those who needed space to get some work done.
The hotel is located in a convenient location that's close to local food places and simple shopping. There's a supermarket in a building basement about two blocks away that's well stocked. You can even get a quick haircut for RMB15 in the same basement for those (guys) who don't care much about style 😂 There are LUCK IN coffee, Mixue, KFC, local eateries, street food, and restaurants all within short walk of about 200m.
One thing great about this hotel is the bus transport serving Meilan airport that starts and ends at this property, costing just RMB20 per person per direction. Each hotel booking apparently entitled the guest one free ticket! We departed the hotel on this bus which took about 50 mins to reach the airport, as it made a few scheduled stops along the way and was driven at a slow steady bus speed. That perfectly solved the trouble and costs of having to book 2 taxis due to number of people and luggages, right at the hotel door step!
One attraction of the hotel was the hot spring available in the bathroom via a large wooden tub, as well as one outside the hotel for guests. I saw some guests using the public pool which would involve walking out of the hotel in bathrobes and slippers onto the driveway and all. We’re not the hot spring type so no comments, but this feature may appeal to others.
Some negative points that prevented the property having full 5 stars:
- Erratic WiFi connection - the WiFi sometimes would have no Internet connection, randomly, it could be evening or even morning when everyone was sleeping and not many devices connected. As we had two rooms technically so there were two WiFi logins for our use. Sometimes one would work and not the other and at different times. Sometimes the connection would be lost halfway while using. It’s really irritating. We made multiple feedback but nothing had improved.
- the property is really aged and a refresh is badly needed. It’s livable and generally clean for sure, but the decor, style and musky smell especially in the hallways, were unmistakable. According to the plague near the main entrance, the property was completed around the 2000s, that’s time for university graduation if this were a person😀

IInvitéL'hôtel est propre et bien rangé, le hall est luxueusement décoré, et les installations sont complètes. Le service de relations clients est chaleureux et attentionné. Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses, la literie est confortable, et des équipements pour enfants sont même fournis. Les transports à proximité sont pratiques, et il y a de nombreux restaurants, incluant des buffets et des restaurants chinois. Le rapport qualité-prix global est excellent, ce qui en fait un endroit fortement recommandé pour les séjours en famille avec des enfants !

CCharleneBWe chose Sheraton Haikou due to the great reviews, especially from helpful staff, close to the beach, and activities for children. Our stay was for 1 week.
Disappointments:
1) Absence and failed service of front desk staff
2) No help with luggage (really needed it)
3) Room cleaning could have been better.
4) Communication, there was almost never English staff available. Additionally, no one once checked in on us. Maybe I’m being petty but if guests stay long you’d wanna check if they need anything or just if they’re okay. At checkout, they looked more annoyed and just wanted to get rid of me. I asked about my Marriott membership & the lady was dismissive.
5) Poorly winter holiday program for kids. Different from the advertised program on trip.com.
6) Checkout was delayed because they couldn’t find my booking. Very weird. Eventually they spoke to someone who helped me and found the booking. How is this possible considering that I’ve been there for a week?
Great things:
1) location: it’s right on the beach, not far from airport and other places to explore
2. Location: it was very calm and relaxing, which is why we chose Haikou as opposed to Sanya. No heavy crowds, except when going to touristy places can expect some crowd but still manageable
3. Free photoshoot was fun and good way to create memories
4. Hot pool was a good way to make up for being in a pool, we loved it
5. Western restaurant was fine, had some good options.
6. Little play center for kids
7. Large grounds for kids to run around and to enjoy outdoors.
8. Accommodating: we were assigned a room on the 5th floor but on arrival it had a strong mould odour from the moment you exit the elevator. Was so bad when I entered the room, I instantly got a headache. All rooms have no windows, only a balcony door but be aware of bugs and spiders. We immediately got moved to a room on the 4th floor, less odour and no smell in the room.
9) Entertainment: live music at night
Would I go again? Yes, especially since I know what to expect. Or try another hotel in the same area.
Overall, we were happy to be by the seaside and explore places in Haikou.

Busses à partout, y compris la gare et l'aéroport. Très populaire hôtel. Petit déjeuner simple mais bon.
