La chambre, peut-être due à sa proximité avec l'eau, dégage une légère odeur de bois moisi, mais ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer ne me dérange pas. Le bruit blanc de la cascade m'a permis de bien dormir. Il y a une grande pièce où nous recopions des écritures bouddhistes, et les enfants étaient ravis de tapoter leurs bols d'aumônes pour nourrir les poissons. AandybongThe Mid Levels Stay was a fun experience for a home stay, a little like ”glamping!” The building was nestled in a tranquil nature setting with bamboo groves and surrounded by two rushing streams. The hosts were super friendly, attentive to our needs, knowledgeable and helpful in sharing tips for visiting the places we wanted to see. In regards to ”glamping” the rooms were a welcome place to rest and reset after hiking the nearby Fanjingshan (only 5 minute drive away!). The electric blankets were used as a way to keep the humidity at bay, given the water-rich setting. The breakfast provided every morning consisted of a delicious mix of western and Chinese fare. There were plenty of oranges to take as a snack or eat with breakfast. We were also delighted to be accompanied by the resident gray cat with beautiful yellow eyes, the cat was a serene and watched over us as we ate at a respectful distance. The nearby Dong village, Yunshe town, and the main attraction of Fanjingshan hiking makes this place a lovely homestay!

HHR101Very grateful to return to a cozy clean room after a cold cloudy day on the mountain. Very good facilities in the room for the price. We appreciated the early check in allowing us to store our bags in the room before going to the mountain. Hot powerful shower, smart toilet, and good TV. Restaurant downstairs was Ok, there is more food 5 minute walk west. It's right behind the main entrance to the mountain, very convenient. For traveller info - we took the bus to Zhenyuan the next day, tickets available at the counter immediately next to the park entrance ticket. 1 bus a day at 09:30 in December. High quakity minivan, we had it all to ourselves ¥126pp. Hotel is great value for money.

RRaghunath C G NairAmazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

IInvité⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Stay Near Fanjingshan I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fanjingshan. The location is excellent, situated right at the foot of the mountain and very close to the entrance of the scenic area. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food or anything you might need during your stay. The room was spotless, modern and extremely comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, from the TV and heater to the hot water and bed. It genuinely felt like a home away from home after a long day of hiking. What made the stay especially memorable was the owner. She was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. She owns a restaurant nearby, and whenever I ordered food, it was conveniently brought up to my room. She also offered snacks, gave useful local advice and helped arrange transportation for my onward journey after Fanjingshan, which was a huge help as a foreign traveller. The combination of a great location, comfortable rooms and genuine hospitality made this one of the highlights of my trip. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Fanjingshan.
