I recently stayed at a voco hotel and had a mixed experience. The hotel has a modern and vibrant atmosphere that I really enjoyed upon arrival. The décor is stylish, and the overall ambiance is inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome during check-in.
However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. While the room was clean and well-appointed, I found it to be smaller than I expected, which made it a bit cramped for two guests. Additionally, I encountered some minor issues with the amenities; for instance, the Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable at times, which was frustrating during my stay.
The hotel's location was decent, with several restaurants and attractions within walking distance, but it wasn't as central as I had hoped. Overall, voco has a great concept with its focus on sustainability and unique twists, but a few tweaks could enhance the overall experience. I would consider staying again, but with slightly lower expectations.

En outre, le parking sur place est sans problème, avec un large espace et une entrée et une sortie faciles, ce qui le rend idéal pour les clients voyageant par voiture. Globalement, cet hôtel combine la propreté, une grande localisation et un parking confortable pour assurer un séjour confortable et agréable.

GGo MissPriddyIt was a nice comfortable room and stay. Cost effective with breakfast.
Systems were down so checking was delayed and held us up. Room was too far for my sister to walk as she suffered with a leg injury and found it difficult to walk to and from the room. Accessibility was not considered despite noting it on the booking so she couldn't have the desired shower room as expected. Could be because of the system issue. The room was spacious and nice, hall a little bland, hall carpet a little tarnished possibly due to footballers and co footfall as it's connected to the stadium so perfect for footballers and families at match time. Entrance clean and inviting. There are 2 floors ,no lift so this must be considered if you cannot walk far. Lobby and breakfast hall was clean, and buffet breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly. FYi- my uncle received complimentary benefits for the long check in issues and delays. My sister and I didn't although it would have been nice too, since we waited long also. Overall it was nice but and I would stay again.

IInvitéWe had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times.
The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didn’t need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldn’t have been able to climb into the bath to use it.
Breakfast was excellent.

SSofia sees the worldTrès proche du centre-ville avec accès à la nourriture tardive. 15 minutes à pied à la gare. La chambre est proche et la salle de bain est propre. Cependant, il n'y a pas d'équipement. J'ai payé 10 livres supplémentaires pour vérifier tôt à 12 heures. Le ascenseur n'était pas en service à l'époque.

IInvitéAfter requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy.
The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night.
Not sure if recommended staying here. .

VViggiLe centre-ville est situé à proximité du centre-ville, et il est très agréable de rester ici chaque fois que je visite Reading. Le personnel est très aimable et utile aussi - ils frappent la porte chaque matin la chambre !

88A8La chambre est très confortable et très confortable. Nous avons pu entendre des pas de haut, et le mur était un peu endommagé, probablement en raison de la rénovation, mais il ne nous a pas dérangé. Dans l'ensemble, tout était bon, et nous pourrions revenir une fois entièrement rénové. Merci!
