IInvitéOuf, what a hidden gem! The bungalows at Purwa Ijen are top-notch, offering an amazing value for money. It is located in a super authentic, small and peaceful village with beautiful views and lush vegetation (besides all the rice fields). Our highlight was the breakfast, where we got the best smoothie bowl on our whole trip through Indonesia. The Ijen tour (500K) was also an unbeatable price. Transfer to the Bali ferry for 200K was also affordable. We especially loved the spacious bathroom and the comfy terrace with jungle and ricefield view. IMHO Purwa Ijen is one of the best value accommodation you can find in the Ijen area, highly recommended. WiFi also worked like a breeze.

IInvitéDelicious Indonesian Javanese food specially created by the host, May, as well as the level of dedicated service is the highlight of this hotel.
The menu food sounds unappealing, but all 7 lunch and dinners were so good.
You have to try the chicken satay, which is soft and has white clean meat.
The tuna is melted and panini is so fresh.
The spaghetti cakalang is her created recipe of smoked fish and spaghetti. Her tofu and Tempe must not be missed!
Her tempong chicken is yummy and fresh! Feels like it's directly from the farm.
Nasi goreng must not be missed!
Papayas seem to be in the season.
Fried bananas covered in coconut flakes are not to be missed!
In this hotel, don't expect luxury cleanliness because there are a lot of insects (bees, butterflies, moths, grasshopper, flies), spiders, millipedes, lizards, even a gecko. If you want to stay in this rustic resort you have to be okay with them.
I didn't like the insects stuff in the room but the hosts immediately sent their staff to deal with them. Staff are friendly just be patient with them because not all speak English.
May was a super host, who gave ALL sorts of ideas on where to go, and how to go, and gives you contacts and numbers and details. Ibnu makes the best dirty latte in Banyuwangi, most probably. The hosts are very nice and go out of the way to make their guests welcome. They even dropped us at a nearby tour site, and also gave us a short walk to the beach nearby.
This level of service is almost unbeatable. Staff are always ready and welcome to greet and smile at you.
I think the Indonesian and Javanese meals are better than the breakfast menu.
Breakfast pancake and American breakfast normal only.
They generously dropped us off at Bangsring Underwater which was 3-5 mins away, which MUST NOT BE MISSED for snorkelling beginners! (But first check out if the season is good for snorkelling)
If you stay here, be prepared there's not much in the area. And not much air-conditioned cafes or restaurant or shops nearby too.
The family room has a breathtaking view of the mountains but because of the attic like structure, is prone to insects and lizards and stuff. It had a resident gecko.
The deluxe suite room had a flat ceiling so lesser insects! + huge verandah for drying your clothes + pink bougainvillea.
There are corn fields beside the hotel.
They send food to your room if you don't want to eat in the restaurant which also has a amazing view. Restaurant has rustic vibes with antique candelabras
(+ spiders).

SSANGUNJe viens directement de Bromo.
Rester assis dans la voiture pendant environ sept heures était pire que la mort.
L'emplacement est effectivement très éloigné, mais pas loin d'Ijen.
Le prix est également bon et les installations de soutien sont complètes.
Il n'y a pas de dépanneurs à proximité.
Mais vous pouvez commander des plats à emporter chez KFC et Mixue Ice City.

IInvitéOsing Bamboo resort was exactly what I needed while I relaxed in preparation for my Mt. Ijen hike. I only stayed one night but it really felt rejuvenating. They really have done an excellent job at nestling into such a beautiful spot in the jungle overseeing the river. Despite the rural setting, I found the bedding and amenities to be very clean and fresh. The staff was excellent at accommodating my requests for room service and other things. Food and lattes were delicious!!! Such excellent quality overall and a great deal too! If you’re in Banyuwangi just hanging out before or after your activities definitely stay here!

The hotel features its own dairy farm with fresh milk, and offers activities like spice and coffee plantation tours.
For adventure seekers, the basecamp of Mount Raung is only 20 minutes away by car, with a hike that takes at least two days and one night. The swimming pool is large and clean, and the garden is well-maintained. The hotel has a good restaurant offering a variety of Indonesian and Western dishes. Wi-Fi is reliable, though the TV had no signal, and there was a brief power outage, quickly resolved with a backup generator.
The staff are friendly and helpful.

IInvitéPersonnel super sympa. Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel après une nuit à l'Ijen. En conséquence, nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel beaucoup plus tôt que 14h00 (heure d'enregistrement) indiquée. Ils ont réfléchi avec nous et ont tout fait pour nous donner accès à la chambre le plus rapidement possible.
L'emplacement était idéal pour nous, car nous voulions voyager à Bali. Il n'y a pas grand chose à faire dans le coin le soir. Pour cela, il faut vraiment être à Banyuwangi.
La chambre était très grande et soignée. Le petit déjeuner est également bon et très copieux. Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que nous avons passé une merveilleuse nuit.

Si vous avez besoin d'internet pour travailler G Terre n'est pas bon. Dans tous les camps de surf près et wifi pour les appels vidéo ou les sockets stables. Réseau mobile est le même. Le village le plus proche avec un bon internet est situé dans une heure de route à partir de g terre. Nous avons quitté ce lieu un jour avant que notre réservation ne soit plus terminée en raison de mauvaise internet.
Si vous êtes sur votre propre transport, vous devez montrer votre réservation dans le parc national purwo.
La cuisine est bonne pour les surfers. Vous la accumulez pendant votre séjour et payez à la fin. La chambre est simple et propre (vous devez aller à la toilette en 30 secondes). Il y a des charges de singes dans la région : soignez-vous pendant votre petit déjeuner, ils peuvent facilement attraper votre crème de lait ou autre.
Ils ont un transfert avec bateau pour surfer des points.
Il y a beaucoup d'animaux à proximité : j'ai vu des dés, des boeufs, des singes.
