IInvitéWarm, friendly staff who gave good and practical advice about the protests and safety, much appreciated . Housekeeping was impeccable and thoughtful and really prompt with adhoc requests.
Rooms are large (size norms from a different time) and the mix of analog vintage features and updated features is charming. Clear and strong WIFI , clean rooms especially for tropical setting
The buffet spread is excellent quality, clean and a good mix of delicious local and international continental options.
The spa is lovely, though service can vary - I had a lovely therapist and my friend’s therapist was using her phone during the session (which is not acceptable at any massage place, what more at this spot) incongruous with the very high service and hospitality standards set by the rest of the staff.
Would come back and stay here again!

HHarryIDSGAffordable, modern and clean. Shopping mall is literally next door and selection of eateries are available in the surrounding. The building looks new and therefore modern and clean, however the room lacked soundproofing, you can hear any noise from the corridor and the surrounding rooms. Lobby is on the second floor, was confused when we reached. Parking is very limited, we were fortunate that we got spot to park, my guess you won't be so lucky during weekend or busy days.
Staffs are nice and helpful. Very near to the train station which is one of the primary reason we chose to give this hotel a try.

__evas_Le service est excellent, ils sont gentils, polis et utiles. Les sourires n'ont jamais quitté leur visage et ils essaient toujours d'aider rapidement. Le petit déjeuner est grand, goûteux, et la sélection est encore plus grande, ils ont beaucoup de variétés de nourriture indonésienne. La chambre est grande en taille, le sol est clair, la salle de bain est propre, les équipements sont adéquats (porter votre propre sèche-cheveux bcs que l'un d'eux n'est pas aussi grand). Mais, horriblement déçu par les nettoyeurs, j'ai utilisé le culot et le verre le jour 1 et ils n'ont même pas d'objections pour les nettoyer, juste mettre sur le lieu habituel. J'ai essayé de les ”répéter” le lendemain, mais ils n'ont toujours pas nettoyé 🥲🥲

SSharon PSVarna Culture Hotel is located at strategic location closer to Tunjungan Plaza and many local eateries around. But I was given a room at smoking floor although when I booked I already requested for nonsmoking room. We have to inhale lots of 2nd hand smoke which was quite bad for our throat and causing us hard to breathe. The bathroom had given us lots of problems, after we took a shower, we realised the water cannot flow into the drainage hole and stayed floating next to the toilet bowl. The whole floor flooded as the floor design was a problem. When we complained to front desk staff, they already knew the problem but they cannot do anything. They only offered the housekeeper to mop away the water. Which the floor still wet. The water pressure is too low while we on the shower. The shower head positioned wrongly on wall and not flexible which caused the shower water to shoot directly to the opposite wall instead of to our body or face. It wet the whole towel rack and the toilet bowl behind us. Hence, we have to hold the shower head most of the time to ensure we can clean our body thoroughly. Breakfast served was average. The juices were quite plain and no fruit flavour. The overall food served was OK. No minibar in the hotel. We have to buy ice cube 5,000rp for a cup of 4pcs ice cudes.

SSuzonTrès bonne surprise. L'endroit est facile à trouver et plutôt calme.
La propreté repose principalement sur les autres voyageurs pour les endroits partagés. Les capsules sont propres hormis quelques taches d'usure ou oubliées sur le plafond ou à certains endroits, et le linge sent bon.
Attention, bémol sur les casiers qui sont trop petits pour les sac à dos de voyage à partir de 45L (à moins de pouvoir tasser).
