Surrounded by plenty of great eateries and a short walk to the port for day trips to Capri, Positano, or Amalfi, the location is ideal for exploring. The interior is creative, colourful, and full of personality—a truly refreshing design. While it lacks a ground-floor reception (which would be helpful for managing luggage), and there are no pool or major facilities, it still offers a pleasant and memorable experience. A bit pricey for what it is, but I’d definitely consider staying here again for the charm and location alone.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta. The service was excellent from start to finish – the staff were always attentive and reliable. The shuttle service in particular stood out: it ran at different hours, always on time without a single delay, and was spotless every ride. Breakfast was a highlight for me – the cappuccino and coffee were especially good, easily some of the best I’ve had on a trip. I also planned a small birthday surprise for my partner, and the hotel staff carried it out beautifully and very discreetly, which made it extra special. The location is great, the pool area is lovely with amazing views, and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay. Overall, it felt like real value for money – a mix of comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return.

La place est à seulement 10 minutes de la gare centrale de Sorrento, une zone calme mais dispose d'un très bon restaurant à 3 minutes à pied et de petit magasin pour les besoins quotidiens . La chambre est confortable et dispose de chambres confortables et de télévision plus petit réfrigérateur si vous avez besoin de mettre des choses froides , avec la belle salle de bains nous avons tout ce qu'on a besoin. Il est vraiment comme un hôtel boutique avec trois chambres et assez grande salle à manger il fait parfait temps de la porte , pas assez rempli pour avoir de jolies petites conversations avec d'autres clients. Ce qui est plus notre hôte Carmela est une personne très gentille , attentive et utile , elle nous fournit toutes les informations sur la ville et nous aide avec ce que nous avons besoin. Nous avons très agréable temps et relaxation, surtout belles vues au soleil avec un verre de vin froid il est parfait pour finir le chaud jour d'été.

The chek-in process was smooth. Maria was super helpful. The Amalfi coast tour she recommended was the best thing I did in the whole trip of Italy. Please say thanks to Nino for me, our driver. He is the best. Everything is super clean and new. I admire how the cleaning was done. It's done like 5 star hotel. I've got to meet her the last day and she is super kind as well. The only downside was the noise from the wall next door(other guests). I could hear everything from their bathroom and when they flush the toilet it sounds like a bomb dropping into my ear. No kidding. Maybe in another room it might be better. I'm writing this because I really loved staying here. Everything is super close, convenient and neighbors are the nicest. I just hope maybe something can be done on that wall for a better soundproof because I really hope one day I wanna bring my parents to here and experience beautiful Sorrento. Overall, my stay was great and I wanna stay here again when I visit Sorrento. Everyone here is super friendly and I felt at home. Thank you.

L'hôtel en lui-même est assez standard, comme on peut s'y attendre d'une grande chaîne hôtelière, mais le service laissait vraiment à désirer. On nous avait annoncé un service voiturier, mais il n'y en avait pas. Les employés nous ont simplement dit de nous garer nous-mêmes. Soit. Après mon enregistrement, j'ai demandé si nos bagages seraient montés dans notre chambre. La réception m'a alors demandé si j'avais un ticket pour les bagages, ce à quoi j'ai répondu que nous n'avions rien reçu. Les employés sont restés plantés là, à l'entrée. On m'a dit qu'ils allaient nous les envoyer sous peu, mais vu qu'ils ne faisaient rien, nous avons pris nos bagages nous-mêmes. Précisons que j'étais enceinte de six mois, et cela se voit, mais ils ne nous ont proposé aucune aide. Une fois dans notre chambre, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons beau la baisser, rien n'y faisait. Incroyable de constater qu'elle ne fonctionne pas pour le prix payé ! La chambre était étouffante, et même le couloir était plus frais. De plus, pendant notre séjour, il y avait une conférence. On nous a donné une chambre au même étage que les participants, et comme prévu, ils étaient bruyants et agités la nuit. Nous les entendions parler dans le couloir la nuit. Quand nous avons appelé la réception, ils nous ont dit qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire. Super utile ! Au moment du départ, le même serveur est resté planté là à regarder une femme enceinte sortir ses quatre valises. Je me demande vraiment ce qu'ils font d'autre que de rester là à ne rien faire toute la journée. Le service est déplorable et j'ai déjà été mieux servi dans de petits hôtels de charme ou des hôtels familiaux. Le seul point positif de ce séjour, c'est que les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Et c'est tout.

Over all experience ! 8/10! Location 10-15 to Sorrento town centre by bus ! Which is right outside. So don’t bother for taxi , or paid car parking ! Sea view hotel. 3 star but with lovely pool , sea view sitting area to relax for guests. Hand wash , hair dryer , small bathroom. Shower area very tight but manageable. Locker. Air con. Room size ( booked Standered) ok. 15M ! Manageable Room cleanliness good . Bed comfortable ! Cupboard. All this in 3 star is mind boggling ! Now Negative points . U can’t sleep for long. Max 8-9am. As check out is 10.30am max. BF 7/10. As other guest start closing doors going for BF so u hear them. It’s a two story hotel with stairs. No elevator. But has help to take your luggage to rooms. Try to take rooms on 1st floor. If u r over 55 plus. But keep in mind. It’s 3 star. With sea view and pool. Last suggestion. Don’t other taking rent a car. Take ferries. Driving on some road here is not very safe with Italian drivers. Plus traffic.

Le personnel est extrêmement aimable et aux petits soins. Notre chalet était excellent, avec une douche très performante, mais surtout, il offrait une vue imprenable sur la mer. Un service de bus régulier dessert la ville à un prix raisonnable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et j'espère y revenir.

Rooms are nice and spacious. Bed mattress was just ok. And air conditioning was not very good. But overall was decent.

We stayed 3 nights at Santa Fortunata Village in Dodome Tent No. 9 and had a pleasant experience overall. The village is located a bit outside of Sorrento town, but since we were driving, the distance wasn’t an issue. For those not driving, they do offer a buggy service, which is convenient. Our tent didn’t have the best view, but we were still able to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, with no disturbances from other campers. The bed was comfortable, and the tent included a plug point and two USB ports. However, there were no built-in lights, so we recommend bringing your own portable USB light. There were ants on the ground, but it wasn’t a major problem. The parking lot was spacious, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were a short walk away. Showers had hot water, and there were plenty of basins and mirrors available. The provided hair dryer was quite weak, so it’s better to bring your own if needed. The village also has mini marts and a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant once—it was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer excursions as well, though we had already planned our own itinerary. All in all, it was a comfortable and quiet glamping experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk from the main street, which made it convenient yet peaceful. The room had a fantastic view, which we really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure — something we appreciated after long days of exploring. However, while the shower was advertised as having fancy jet options, none of them worked. This feature really shouldn't be promoted if it's not functional. The room was marketed as a deluxe bedroom, but in reality, it's a standard double room without any frills. We would’ve preferred if expectations were set more accurately — under-promising and over-delivering always makes for a better guest experience. Breakfast was basic and nothing to rave about, though we weren’t expecting much there, so no big disappointment. All in all, it’s a solid option for a short stay. But i won't be recommending for family or friends. Tbere are better option elsewhere. Just need to be booked in advance 😊
