CcharlottieotsieTook my dad on a trip to Italy for his birthday and the first night of our stay couldn't have gone better here. Margrita was so welcoming and friendly, offering us a glass of juice or water upon arrival. She then gave us a plethora of different croissants to choose for as part of the breakfast. There was a classic course of buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, then a flavoured croissant, and a plate of fresh fruit. The other people staying there said it was the best breakfast ever, and to be honest, I agree. The rooms were incredibly tidy and neat, complete with a fridge to store water for enduring the heat (air con worked a treat, and there were also complimentary water bottles on our first night). The views from the little balconys in the common areas were beautiful overlooking the lemon trees. The location was great, about a 15 minute walk to the beach, which was perfect for us as we were out of the hustle and bustle. And about a 10 minute walk from the station when we arrived. All in all 10/10 honestly, and I don't usually leave reviews but felt the need to do this place and margrita justice! 😊

Hotel Maison Il Conservatorio is perfectly located—just a 6-minute walk from the train station and car rental return, making arrival super convenient. Though there’s no on-site parking, they offer a helpful valet-style service for a fee and booking
The hotel sits on the rooftop of a kindergarten, which is both unique and endearing. Surrounded by plenty of great eateries and a short walk to the port for day trips to Capri, Positano, or Amalfi, the location is ideal for exploring.
The interior is creative, colourful, and full of personality—a truly refreshing design. While it lacks a ground-floor reception (which would be helpful for managing luggage), and there are no pool or major facilities, it still offers a pleasant and memorable experience. A bit pricey for what it is, but I’d definitely consider staying here again for the charm and location alone.

OOgechi petronillaI had such a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta. The service was excellent from start to finish – the staff were always attentive and reliable. The shuttle service in particular stood out: it ran at different hours, always on time without a single delay, and was spotless every ride.
Breakfast was a highlight for me – the cappuccino and coffee were especially good, easily some of the best I’ve had on a trip. I also planned a small birthday surprise for my partner, and the hotel staff carried it out beautifully and very discreetly, which made it extra special.
The location is great, the pool area is lovely with amazing views, and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay. Overall, it felt like real value for money – a mix of comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return.

PP.SchneiderLa place est à seulement 10 minutes de la gare centrale de Sorrento, une zone calme mais dispose d'un très bon restaurant à 3 minutes à pied et de petit magasin pour les besoins quotidiens . La chambre est confortable et dispose de chambres confortables et de télévision plus petit réfrigérateur si vous avez besoin de mettre des choses froides , avec la belle salle de bains nous avons tout ce qu'on a besoin. Il est vraiment comme un hôtel boutique avec trois chambres et assez grande salle à manger il fait parfait temps de la porte , pas assez rempli pour avoir de jolies petites conversations avec d'autres clients. Ce qui est plus notre hôte Carmela est une personne très gentille , attentive et utile , elle nous fournit toutes les informations sur la ville et nous aide avec ce que nous avons besoin. Nous avons très agréable temps et relaxation, surtout belles vues au soleil avec un verre de vin froid il est parfait pour finir le chaud jour d'été.

CClare.JThe chek-in process was smooth. Maria was super helpful. The Amalfi coast tour she recommended was the best thing I did in the whole trip of Italy. Please say thanks to Nino for me, our driver. He is the best. Everything is super clean and new. I admire how the cleaning was done. It's done like 5 star hotel. I've got to meet her the last day and she is super kind as well.
The only downside was the noise from the wall next door(other guests). I could hear everything from their bathroom and when they flush the toilet it sounds like a bomb dropping into my ear. No kidding. Maybe in another room it might be better.
I'm writing this because I really loved staying here. Everything is super close, convenient and neighbors are the nicest. I just hope maybe something can be done on that wall for a better soundproof because I really hope one day I wanna bring my parents to here and experience beautiful Sorrento.
Overall, my stay was great and I wanna stay here again when I visit Sorrento. Everyone here is super friendly and I felt at home. Thank you.

IInvitéL'hôtel est très beau au sommet de la montagne, il y a des bus à l'heure pour aller à la ville et des bus à retour. La chambre d'hôtel est grande, la chambre de mer pour boire dans le quartier public de l'hôtel est très bonne vue, l'autre côté est le vulcan de la Vuzuaie. Très recommandé

DDonna MarinaLocation is great, right next to piazza tasso, and there’s taxi stop in the front. The room is equipped with modern design, keeping classic furniture which is very cute and authentic. Breakfast is great with freshly made coffee and the variety is very good for european standard. The terrace is the absolute highlight! The view from the position is Wow! The staff are all very friendly and really take the time to give advice to those who are new to Sorrento, they have us really heartfelt and clear advice as in sightseeing tips or restaurant recommendations. They also organise excursions which is so convenient, the day tour to Amalfi coast by car is just awesome!!! Last but not least, there is a lift inside!

IInvitéI would think with the pictures showing a pool and daybeds these would be free but when we got there they told us they are 15euro each day to use even though we are hotel guests. The reason we chose a hotel with a pool rather than paying for 1 at the beach. Very disappointed.
The showers are very small we aren’t big people and found it hard showering.
Balcony was good as could rinse clothes and dry outside but just placed over the chairs.
No kettle in the room but can get free coffee with breakfast. Breakfast was included which was great.
Scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, danishes, juice and coffee.
Location was great coming off the ferry as right at the port with luggage.
If going to town it’s a big stair case up to the top or you can walk along the beach to the lift down the road which is 2 euro to use.
The bar upstairs has amazing sunsets, lovely watching the sun go down and they have a DJ playing lovely slow singing music which all generations could enjoy. The drinks are slightly priced at the bar though.
The restaurant at bottom of hotel was great. 7 euro Margherita pizza and you get 10% off being a hotel guest.
I would probably next time stay in town as closer to everything but I like walking and hiking for exercise so the big staircase worked for me but wouldn’t for lots of people. I think the hotel may of said they have free taxi to town but not 100 % sure.

IInvitéNous sommes arrivés à 10h30 et on nous a indiqué que l'enregistrement se faisait à 15h. Nous avons demandé deux fois, car cela nous semblait plus tard que d'habitude. La dame à lunettes a insisté sur le fait que c'était bien 15h. En vérifiant en ligne plus tard, nous avons constaté qu'il était plus de 14h30. Si la chambre n'était pas prête, elle aurait simplement pu nous le dire au lieu de nous induire en erreur. De plus, c'était le seul hôtel de toute l'Italie à ne même pas proposer de bouteilles d'eau gratuites. On en trouvait dans le minibar, mais elles coûtaient 3 euros. Les produits de toilette se limitaient à des gobelets en carton et à de petits flacons de gel douche/shampoing qui n'ont pas été remplacés le lendemain ; nous avons donc dû nous débrouiller avec le peu de savon restant. Le lit était très mal monté. La salle de bain était pleine de moisissures, les murs étaient sales et on aurait dit qu'elle n'avait pas été nettoyée en profondeur depuis des années.
Le point positif : il y avait des oreillers de rechange et un balcon avec une table et une chaise. Le petit-déjeuner était l'un des meilleurs que nous ayons pris en Italie. L'emplacement était idéal, à 1 km du port, et il y avait une épicerie à proximité. Le prix était également raisonnable (250 euros la nuit) lors de notre réservation. Cependant, nous avons envisagé de prolonger notre séjour et, deux semaines avant notre arrivée, le prix avait augmenté de plus de 50 %. À ce stade, je ne pense pas que cela valait la peine.

Iilzestayed here with a friend and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk from the main street, which made it convenient yet peaceful.
The room had a fantastic view, which we really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure — something we appreciated after long days of exploring. However, while the shower was advertised as having fancy jet options, none of them worked. This feature really shouldn't be promoted if it's not functional.
The room was marketed as a deluxe bedroom, but in reality, it's a standard double room without any frills. We would’ve preferred if expectations were set more accurately — under-promising and over-delivering always makes for a better guest experience.
Breakfast was basic and nothing to rave about, though we weren’t expecting much there, so no big disappointment.
All in all, it’s a solid option for a short stay. But i won't be recommending for family or friends. Tbere are better option elsewhere. Just need to be booked in advance 😊
