Great place to stay. Staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was good. Room size was spacious and it was great to have a choice of AC or calling fan. Great to having a working smart TB too. Choice of minibar options was perfect and at reasonable cost. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

Propre et hygiénique, j'ai réservé une chambre avec deux chambres et un salon, la chambre était spacieuse et propre, le propriétaire était chinois et très sympathique, M. Gamunu qui était en charge de la gestion sur place était tout simplement un joueur polyvalent, il pouvait conduire, agir comme guide touristique, nettoyer la chambre et préparer le petit-déjeuner. Nous vous donnerons également de nombreuses suggestions de voyage raisonnables. Dans l'ensemble, c'est bien. Je suggère également au patron de mettre des tables et des chaises dans le hall du deuxième étage et d'installer des rideaux occultants en bas pour rendre le tout encore plus parfait.

I stayed here for one night while in transit and had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was a good place to get some much-needed rest. I woke up after dinner time, but the chef was kind enough to still take my order even though the kitchen had already closed. They made an amazing pasta, which I really enjoyed and appreciated. There are a few things that could be improved. The shower was quite loud, and I think the toiletries could be better or replaced. The telephone in the room also wasn’t working properly, which made it a little difficult to get in touch with the front desk when needed. Getting to the hotel was also a bit of a hassle with Uber, so that’s something to keep in mind. Overall, though, I had a great stay. The room was comfortable, the hospitality was good, and the chef going out of their way to prepare food after the kitchen had closed was especially appreciated

The room is very spacious, in fact one could say too spacious, where you look at the size of the bathroom. It is a shame that some thought was not put into making the bedroom dining area smaller and the bathroom/toilet larger. Some of the plugs for items such as the kettle and bedside lamp were two pin plugs and could not be plugged in. Asked an employee and he provided one adapter to at least plug the kettle in. The place is advertised as an apartment and the facilities support this. There is a sink, two pan electric hot top, fridge, sandwich maker, kettle and a dining table. The AC worked well, the bed was very comfortable and good quality linen and towels were provided. There was a wall mounted TV and an attempt to watch Netflix was made, but it was in Chinese and couldn't work out if it could be changed to English. The Wi Fi was reliable and fast enough not to be an issue. During the night there was a power outage and had to leave the apartment to speak with the onsite employee, to reset the tripped electrical switches. There is a supermarket within a 15 to 20 minute walk away, however being located on a main road, there are plenty of Tuk Tuks that could make it quicker. There is a nearby restaurant that is a separate business and provides plenty of food options, it is on the opposite side and diagonal to the apartment. On the same side as the apartment and a 5min walk, is a business called Barista, where you can get a decent coffee and breakfast. This place was chosen primarily because it was close to the airport and cost approx 800 rupee to get there. All in all would stay again and if the management read this, then the plug situation needs to be sorted, along with the Netflix issue. Lastly I would recommend that perhaps a small hand brush and dust pan were provided.

En bord de mer, à deux pas de la plage, ouvrir le balcon le matin est vraiment apaisant. Les installations sont moyennes. Il y a beaucoup de moustiques dans la pièce. C'est bon après avoir allumé des serpentins anti-moustiques. Le service ici est excellent et les gens sont sympathiques. L'anglais est excellent. Le restaurant a un bon rapport qualité/prix, la nourriture n'est pas chère, je vous conseille de manger de la nourriture occidentale, car la nourriture locale n'est pas vraiment celle à laquelle vous êtes habitué.

C'était ma troisième séjour dans les Goldi Sands, honnêtement, la dernière fois était il y a près de 20 ans, mais j'avais un temps si grand il y a alors j'avais des attentes élevées. L'hôtel a été réveillé pendant 20 ans, doublé de taille, double du nombre de piscines, ajouté un ascenseur et ils ont retiré les bungalows devant la plage. Le service et la catering ont changé, mais le personnel est très gentil, ils n'ont pas fait le plus grand pas comme ils l'avaient habitué. Nous sommes arrivés tard, car notre vol avait été retardé, tout ce que je voulais était quelques bouteilles de bière, ils sont arrivés mais j'ai presque dû demander. J'ai réservé un taxi à l'aéroport avec le bureau de front, mais ils oublient, les serveuses à dîner étaient toutes sur le gros sale plutôt que sur le service. Le petit déjeuner est tout aussi bon que ma mémoire, le petit déjeuner d'aujourd'hui est le même jour tous les jours et manque d'imagination, est mal présenté et comprend le pire café jamais. L'hôtel dispose d'un nombre confusionnel de tarifs de tous les services à la chambre qui signifie que si vous voulez acheter une boisson, il prend pour toujours comme ils doivent vérifier votre ”état” et ensuite si vous payez en espèces ils doivent aller au caisseur car ils ne flottent pas. Les chambres sont de bonne taille, propres et confortables mais de base.

Je suis allé à moins de 10 minutes de l'aéroport, à environ 1 h. Même si je suis arrivée à minuit, le personnel était très aimable. C'est un logement très court, mais le prix est raisonnable et large, les chambres et les salles de bain sont propres. Je suis content que je veux encore l'utiliser.

A great very well priced hotel to stay after arriving in Sri Lanka before our tour starts. The manager was extremely helpful and nothing is too much. The breakfast was also excellent. A very good priced hotel to start your Sri Lankan holiday - highly recommend

I stayed in this hotel for a week. It’s only been open for 5 months and at first appearance it looks good, but taking a closer look it’s still being built and repaired. There are still cables jutting out of the wall and ceiling. Although the kitchen is featured in the photos of the room, it has no tap, the cupboards are sealed. I raised some of my concerns when I arrived with the general manager when he asked me questions about my stay and he seemed blasé about addressing it. Based on what was paid, this hotel is overpriced. There are still cement stairways and drilling taking place during the day. The WiFi is awful, they finally installed a router in my room which took the week to do and it only worked on the day of my departure. The best part of the hotel is some staff members who will go out of their way to help, special mention to Jazz. They have a great pool on the roof. Until it’s fully built I wouldn’t recommend staying here!
