Came here on my niece's recommendation without doing much prior research, and I'm so glad I did! The room is wonderful, and the staff gave me a very warm welcome. The TV is massive with plenty of entertainment options. The location is central, though Trat is inherently quiet, so it might feel a bit too quiet for some. I enjoyed walking around the peaceful area. Just keep in mind there's no elevator, which could be an issue for the elderly. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay and will be back soon!

What a great resort tucked into a lakeside location with a mangrove nearby for walking or kayaking! We stayed in this resort for one night before heading to Koh Kood. If your flight to Trat lands after the last ferry to the islands, this is a terrific option for overnight accommodations. The room on the lake was clean and spacious, the restaurant food and servers were excellent, and the breakfast buffet had many choices for Western or Thai dishes. There seemed to be an endless amount of activities for families and the whole resort looks like a fun place to explore. There is a theme of nature everywhere you go and the resort reuses and recycles. Glass bottles of high quality drinking water were provided. Most of all, the staff could not have been more kind or helpful—every person was friendly and assisted with any need. If you have the chance, stay at Banpu Resort!
