Avis : Udumwara Resort

Staff is what made our stay memorable. They were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. From helping us to our rooms to modifying the food offered to meet dietary restrictions was done is a friendly, helpful manner. I left my jacket in the room and the nice receptionist ran to my room to retrieve my jacket. Special shoutouts for excellent service to Pema who was most gracious helping us to our rooms and getting ice for a trekking injury plus whenever we needed anything for the room. Also the food service manager whom I didn’t catch her name made extra modifications to accommodate diet restrictions for our group. The cottage rooms with the balcony overlooking the stream was large and comfortable with a wonderful view. The rooms could use some upgrading when they reopen for the new season.

Absolute soulless place to stay. Staff not bothered to greet and food is better at lesser known places than there facility. Rooms are mediocre. Will not recommend. Better places than this in Paro. It is far from town centre and nothing else is around to do.

We had a beautiful stay at Udumwara paro. Rooms were spacious and well designed with breathtaking views of the mountains. Resort is surrounded by mountains and river flowing next to the resort. It is a rustic resort with Bhutanese architecture which will transport you to the bygone Era.

I stayed at Udumwara Resort during my 2 day stay in Paru. I had a wonderful and memorable experience with this hotel, situated near the town (for shopping) yet maintaining serenity and privacy. The food has a wide variety and tastes good. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with a high service standard. One staff was kind to lend me a tracking stick to allow me to trek up the hill safely to Tiger Nest Monastry. I will highly recommend this hotel to any tourist visiting Paro, Bhutan.

When i checked in to the hotel i was mesmerized by the size of the rooms and how big the entire property was. But then the nightmare started for us. So the bathroom was really dirty, the bed sheets had stain on the sheets, there was just basic amenities. Just tooth brush and paste, shampoo soap. There was no room sandles given and just bathroom slippers. No bathrobe was in the room and had to ask for it, when given it looked wornout, the towers were so old. I was literraly had yuck feeling using the was washroom. Because of the push shower not working, there was water all over. The tiles in the bathroom were broken, water was leaking from the push shower. ONE BIG THING! The mixer taps were not functional. My husband almost burned himself. Overall our experience was not pleasant. The room didnt have enough light. We complained the next day, the room were cleaned afterwards but the bathroom were the same. We switched out hotell and didnt stay there anymore. DONT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

Udumwara Resort is the epitome of peace and tranquility. Honestly, the hotel services are top notch, with friendly staff, fast internet and clean rooms. Rates are pocket-friendly and worth every penny. Food is delicious, humongous servings and tasty. They have a buffet option. They have spacious rooms with a spring-heated shower, a bathtub, and room heaters. Great views of the valley.

Absolutely Amazing Place to stay in , it's a 8 acre land resort which offers wonderful services and also a place to relax . Enjoy Organic fresh Apples in the resort garden Area . It's especially for the tourists staying in the resort. I highly recommend this resort for a wonderful vacation in Bhutan.

Awesome hotel along with good food in Paro, Best part of the hotels is Apple tree in hotel ground and the river which cross in just beside of our Rooms. the sound of river was mesmerizing. Large Common Room in our four room corridor is also a big party space for us.

Resort was very beautiful like we are in jungle apple tree and other fruits tree River on back side Big rooms All facilities Staff was always smiling Best part: tasty indian food We left our phone in room but they kept & call our agent
