L'environnement intérieur est bien, l'assainissement propre, le patron est très solide, l'eau chaude et la climatisation sont bonnes, l'unique insatisfaisant est Trip.com. Trip.com a reçu mon dépôt. CCrystalismThis hotel is in a prime location on Main Street, right next to the famous Cheng Huang Miao temple. It offers both convenience and a sense of seclusion. Despite my room being near the main entrance, I experienced no noise or disturbances.
The hotel arranged a seamless transfer from East Gate, where vehicles are permitted, to the temple, followed by a short 50-meter walk to the hotel. This service, included in the hotel package, made the arrival process effortless. Communication via WeChat and assistance from my tour guide ensured a smooth transfer both in and out. They also provided luggage assistance, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel.
The owner… or at least, I assume he is was incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. He provided useful tour information and even gifted a bottle of vinegar upon departure.
Only one exception that language might be a barrier if you totally can’t speak Chinese - but fret not there’s always translator tools.
The room was very comfortable and appeared newly renovated, with excellent pillows and a cozy comforter. Both the room and bathroom were clean. Amenities included disposable towels, essential toiletries, and a powerful hairdryer.
We didn’t have any food here as our room didn’t come with it but that’s fine, there are plenty of options in Pingyao which you should go out to try.
As a frequent guest of Marriott chains (which means I have certain level of expectations), I had to explore local options since there isn’t one in Pingyao. This hotel met my expectations, and I highly recommend it to both local and international travellers. For the reasonable price and excellent location, I have no complaints, except that I wish I had stayed two nights instead of one!

XXunmengmengchanganÇa ne pourrait pas être mieux. Que ce soit un hôtel ou un B&B, c'est le meilleur dans lequel j'ai jamais séjourné. Le patron avait envie d'accueillir des amis. Il est venu nous chercher dès notre arrivée à la porte Nord. En arrivant à l'auberge, il a immédiatement commencé à nous expliquer comment jouer dans la ville antique. Quand il s'agit d'endroits où manger, les recommandations sont toutes des restaurants de haute qualité et à bas prix. Par exemple, des restaurants classiques comme Hongwuji le seront également. prêter des cartes de membre aux résidents pour bénéficier de réductions sur les repas.
Cette auberge est vraiment fortement recommandée. Le propriétaire la gère avec soin et considère sincèrement chaque client. Il a peut-être touché certains gâteaux de certains vendeurs sans scrupules, mais maintient toujours un flux propre et une bonne réputation. Je ne choisirai certainement pas cette auberge. quand je vais à Pingyao les yeux fermés, faux, je l'ai déjà recommandé à mes amis.

PPhoenix FuSuch great experience! The staffs were super helpful, kind and friendly. You can easily tell that they were happy to help out as much as they could for us to have a better experience. The room was clean without any visible dust when we first walked in, it was so obvious that they put their heart into what they do. We also recieved snack bag upon our departure! I will definitely come back to stay with them everytime i come to pingyao!

IInvitéLa propriétaire est adorable. L'hostel est très bien situé, à 5min à pied de la vieille ville est des restaurants locaux. Le lit est confortable. Le seul point négatif à relever,le dortoir est accolé au hall d'entrée ce qui peut engendrer un réveil un peu matinal pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger.

UUtilisateur anonymeLe propriétaire et sa famille sont incroyablement gentils, attentionnés et attentionnés. Nous avons pris un taxi de la gare jusqu'aux portes de la ville, et ils ont récupéré nos bagages en petit scooter électrique (car il est interdit de circuler dans la vieille ville). Ils ont patiemment répondu à toutes nos questions en chemin (la plupart sans rapport avec l'hébergement). Au moment de partir, craignant de rater notre train, ils ont non seulement porté nos bagages, mais nous ont aussi aidés à trouver une voiture, à les installer et à monter à bord. Comme nous voyagions avec deux enfants, le propriétaire nous rappelait sans cesse de ne pas nous précipiter et d'arriver si possible, mais d'oublier si nous n'y arrivions pas : la sécurité avant tout ! Après notre départ, le propriétaire a même calculé l'heure et nous a appelés pour prendre de nos nouvelles. Bien que nous ayons passé moins de 24 heures à Pingyao, j'ai été profondément touché par leur accueil chaleureux. Je reviendrai sans hésiter pour revivre cette expérience !

IInvitéL'auberge est très unique et antique, et je me sens bien dès que j'entre dans la cour. L'emplacement est également bon, à proximité des attractions incontournables. Le service est également bon. Ils m'ont appelé une semaine à l'avance pour me renseigner sur l'itinéraire et ont pris l'initiative d'organiser une prise en charge. Nous avons également aidé à réserver des billets de spectacle et à réserver des guides touristiques à l'avance. J'ai également pris une photo de voyage d'une jeune femme marchande du Shanxi dans l'auberge. Une fois la photo prise, les vêtements peuvent être portés pendant une journée en visitant la ville antique.

MMariusNotre séjour au Red Inn Lantern s'est déroulé à merveille.
Le logement se situe derrière une petite boutique de vêtements, dans une grande cour ancienne, typique de Pingyao. L'établissement dispose d'une jolie terrasse en rooftop avec une série de lanternes qui ne font qu'ajouter du charme à l'endroit.
La chambre est standard, assez petit mais fonctionnelle et le petit déjeuner fait l'affaire. Vu ce que nous avons payé, il serait difficile de se plaindre, le rapport qualité prix est imbattable!!
Le personnel est au petit soin, très serviable et souriant. Une bouteille de vinaigre faire maison nous a été offerte et un transport de la gare jusqu'à l'établissement a également été proposé gratuitement.
L'hôtel est très bien situé, dans la vieille ville, à deux pas des points d'intérêts!
Idéal pour profiter de Pingyao à petit prix!

JJeffery.truongLa cité antique de Pingyao et l'hôtel Yundingxuan nous ont époustouflés. L'hôtel propose une navette gratuite depuis la gare. Nous avons pris le train à grande vitesse pour arriver à la gare de Pingyaocheng, située à environ 15 minutes de la cité antique. En franchissant la porte des remparts, vous serez émerveillés par les ruelles étroites et les pavés. Nous avons choisi l'hôtel Yundingxuan car il était proche de la porte Nord.
Si le taxi devait nous déposer, la marche serait courte, mais le chauffeur nous a déposés près de l'hôtel, car les voitures ne sont pas autorisées dans les rues principales.
Cet hôtel, vieux de 200 ans, conserve les caractéristiques des dynasties Ming et Qing. Je suis né au Vietnam,
d'origine chinoise, mais j'ai grandi aux États-Unis depuis l'âge de 7 ans. J'ai vu des films chinois, mais rien ne vous préparera à l'hôtel et à la cité antique. J'ai été surpris par la taille du complexe hôtelier. Tout le personnel était très sympathique, le maître d'hôtel parlait anglais et le petit-déjeuner était un petit-déjeuner chinois traditionnel. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité tout au long de notre séjour. Ma femme et ma fille ont beaucoup apprécié les trois chats de l'hôtel et tous les félins de la ville.
Je suis sûr que les autres hôtels sont fantastiques et vous feront vivre une expérience unique, mais je peux me porter garant de Yundingxuan. Préparez-vous à sortir de votre zone de confort et laissez-vous émerveiller par la beauté et les saveurs de la cité antique de Pingyao.

IInvitéNous sommes venus en haute saison et la qualité du service ne s'est pas du tout détériorée à cause de la foule. Il était plus de 23 heures et nous avions peur de ne pas le trouver. Le jeune couple est sorti pour venir nous chercher en vélos électriques. Le patron nous a patiemment expliqué comment visiter la ville antique et nous a fait des présentations. Les attractions environnantes nous font gagner du temps dans la planification de nos itinéraires de voyage. La cour est une très belle cour avec de nombreuses plantes vertes et les chambres sont propre et confortable. J'ai l'impression d'être chez moi quand je séjourne ici. Je reviendrai ici si j'ai l'occasion de revenir à Pingyao. !

IInvitéStayed for four nights. The location is excellent—right in the middle of the ancient city, just a short walk from the main streets.
The hospitality here was exceptional. Before we even arrived, the hosts were responsive and helpful in answering our questions. When we reached Pingyao at night, they personally met us at the county gate (since cars cannot enter the old town), carried our heavy luggage, and guided us to the inn. They did the same when we left, ensuring a smooth departure.
We don’t speak Chinese. The hosts didn’t speak English, but their patience and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations. They never turned down a single request and always went the extra mile. For example, when we simply asked for directions, they didn’t just explain but personally took us there. On the day we left, they arranged three people and two vehicles—one just for our luggage and another for us—to take us to the train station.
Their kindness extended beyond service. When we first arrived, they took the time to carefully write and translate each instruction, explaining how to visit various attractions in the ancient city.
As a farewell gift, they even gave us two bottles of homemade vinegar. Their parting words, ”We’ll be waiting for you in Pingyao,” left us truly overwhelmed with gratitude.
Highly recommend this place!
