The hotel is very well situated for the gondola lift. Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The spa was well equipped and the infinity pool was lovely. The food was outstanding and all staff members were professional, friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel and we are aiming to return.

Winter holiday = week at this hotel We've been here 6 or 7 times in the past 10 years, we left happy every single time. Location is great, rooms are comfy, food is really good, people are friendly. Looking forward for the next visit ( already booked a week in the summer and the next winter for 2025)

Once of best ski hotels we have stayed in. We had a superior room, very modern, spacious, plenty of storage , bathroom was best one we have had, very modern shower. Small balcony, facing the mountainside, which we did use, especially when sun was out. Usual amenities in the rood, TV, fridge etc, sadly no kettle. Everywhere was very clean, and very professionally run. Very good buffet breakfast, with hot items, between 7:30 and 10:00am. afternoon tea, consisted of cake, soup, even had chilli one day. the evening meal was 6.30-8.30 with self service buffet style salad/starters , followed by soup, main and dessert. Very good choice of wine. There was a gala night consisting of an Austrian Buffet. Also a nice bar area. Situated opposite the gondola, very good apres restaurant/bar, very cosy inside, great food, and good live music. The hotel had 2 swimming pools one of which was an infinity pool (adults only), and sauna areas. Good ski locker room, spacious enough for all your gear. Not too far to walk into town, although not a great deal there, few supermarkets, odd shop, nice bakery, being a non skier, there wasn't much to walk around, Ski bus stop wasn;t very far away, and worth a run up to the Mozart lift where there was a very good restaurant, at bse of slope next to the gondola, in a nice residential area. It is walkable which I did do a few times, very pretty up that way.

Really nice hotel, well looked after and maintained. All rooms well soundproofed and very quiet, spotless clean and seam to be mainly the same size and decor though I think there are some larger family rooms, decent storage for a ski holiday or weeks stay, large storage drawer in bathroom under sink, separate loo to sink and shower area, decent large shower although in the evening difficult to get a good water temperature, assume this is because everyone showering at the same time. Loads of hangars in the wardrobe and nice area for hanging up coats and dressing gowns. Very disappointed the first night as the bed was so firm and extremely uncomfortable, the next morning we told them at reception and this was immediately rectified with topper pads transforming them into the most comfortable beds ever for the most wonderful nights sleep. Hotel seemed mainly German and Austrian clientele, when we were here in January there were only about a dozen Brits staying out of a couple of hundred people. The age group at this time of year was mainly late 50-70 with the odd “well behaved” baby dotted around. All the signs in the hotel and descriptions of things on the buffet were only in German although the menu given in the morning to choose from was always available in English. Majority of staff spoke good English and all very pleasant, very professional and helpful, any request was undertaken promptly. Breakfast was very good, as they usually are at these places and served 7.30 - 10. Evening meal was 6.30-8.30 with self service buffet style starters and salads, soup, main and desserts served by waitress. They had a good wine menu at decent prices (€35-40), we can highly recommend the Austrian wines, and half carafe house wine at €18 which was pretty good, also wine by the glass at around €6. On our arrival on the Saturday evening there was a self service Austrian buffet and during the week we had an Italian night and a gala night, all very nice. Food was always tasty and well presented. Choose what you are having for your evening meal at breakfast in the morning and sign for the bill for your drinks from the evening before. Apres snacks served from 3-5, different every day, consisting of some really nice soups, something hot and savoury (the chilli they had on one day was delicious), salads and cakes. Separate bar area for drinks in the evening which was always buzzing after dinner. If not wanting to ski you could walk to the village which was only about 10 minutes away although not an awful lot there to see and do. Would recommend the bar at the bottom of the gondola, looks nothing from the outside but inside it is really cosy, everything is wood clad and traditional Austrian feel and they have live music on most days from 4pm. In the hotel there are 2 swimming pools and sauna areas, the one on the 7th floor was more for adults only and nude apart from the swimming pool where you had to wear a bathing suit which everyone found to be rather a sill

Superb - can’t recommend more highly. Perfect location for the ski lifts and ski run out, just over the road, best location in the area in our opinion. Well equipped high quality ski lockers and everything you need to get you out on the slopes as quickly and easily as possible. We went for the skiing but we couldn’t have been more impressed by the food, the service and the facilities. The standard of the food was incredible! And very generous. We were half board but it may have well have been full board for the amount of food - huge high quality buffet breakfast, with fantastic fresh bread (and butter!) the. Apres ski ‘snack’ which consisted of big selection of salad, soup, stews and cakes. Then superb varied evening meal - with the New Year’s Eve gala being particularly impressive! The New Year’s Eve celebrations were absolutely fantastic and totally unexpected- we’ll back but more dressed up next time! The service was fantastic- extremely friendly and attentive - particularly Bruno and Helena who looked after us fantastically for our stay and made it feel really special. The room itself was modern and well laid out and comfortably furnished. The spa, and particularly the adult only infinity pool on the roof were wonderful . We didn’t travel with children but the kids facilities looked fantastic and some how the hotel managed to get the perfect balance of being great for couples and families. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday!

Excellent stay. I always like to give balanced reviews but I really don’t think there’s anything negative to say about this place. It’s surpassed our expectations and is truly a brilliant place. We stayed for a week’s skiing holiday booked through Sunweb/Skiweb and were very happy with the value for money. Here are some highlights: Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location: right across the road from the Grafenberg Express ski lift, a short meander into town, lots of walks around and only an hour from Salzburg airport. Amazing large ski locker room with your personal boot warmers and on-site ski hire which was very competitively priced and friendly. Food was superb and plentiful. The dinners were of a very high standard and beautifully presented always with a large range at the buffets including breakfast too. Enjoyed scrambled egg and smoked salmon most mornings. Couldn’t believe the generosity of the free “afternoon tea”….soup, salad, hot option and plenty of cake. We enjoyed this every day from the sunny balcony overlooking the slopes. The goulash and the chicken pasta dish were absolutely delicious highlights. Bar and restaurant staff were all amazing. Special mention to “HR”, Olivia who helped us with translation and the lovely young lady from Bosnia (sorry that I don’t recall her name) who was always so helpful and smiley. We visited both spas during our week stay and also used the outdoor pool. The spa facilities in both spas were top notch, couldn’t believe the range of what was on offer. The 5th floor spa was so beautiful with stunning views. The gym was also the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen, so well equipped. Rooms were very comfortable and seemed to be newly decorated with modern decor. We had a lovely view from our very sunny balcony. Rooms have everything you need with enough storage (rare these days) and the bathrooms are five star. Excellent shower! And finally hats off to Sunweb/skiweb who we booked with. They massively outclassed TUI and UK ski specialists such as Crystal. It was very good value for money and service was very good. Would highly recommend. All in all we had a top stay at this hotel. Thank you to everyone that made it so good.
