Reception was friendly and the hotel was clean

Booked this hotel after an extremely stressful 10 hours at the airport after our Easy Jet flight was cancelled. Close proximity and the man on reception made my life so much better! Hotel is great, service was great. Couldn’t fault this place or the staff. We flew to Pisa to go to Florence but if your traveling through and want to see the Tower could highly recommend this hotel. Fab place on the corner for food and drinks and although we came here by accident it was definitely a happy accident. Thank you for all your help during a stressful time getting our flights cancelled. I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

We book here last minute when our flight was cancelled. Expecting the worst but hoping for the best we were very VERY pleasantly surprised. Superb location for the airport, clean, comfortable and air conditioned! Lovely person on front desk. Great service.

After our EasyJet flight was cancelled we were unable to find anywhere to stay in Pisa so spent half the night on a sofa in a hotel reception area and half sitting at the railway station. My sister suggested Blue Shades who offer ‘day rooms’ and we were only too grateful to check in and grab some much needed sleep. The room was clean, spacious, had great blinds, en-suite bathroom and teeny hidden kitchen area - it was everything we needed and more! Morover even in sweltering heat it was an easy walk to the airport.

We spent a night at this hotel after vacating a different, awful hotel. This place was an oasis compared to our prior experience. The location is close to the airport (walkable), but not as close to the train station. It is in a residential part of town without a ton of dining options, but it was clean, quiet (inside), good a/c, good shower, good amenities (but very basic toiletries). It was a good place for a family to stay. Compared with our other hotel experience in Pisa, I would rate this place 10/10.

A very comfortable hotel, but not fancy. If you are able to walk you can get there on foot from the airport and on foot again to the railway station, as we did. We walked all the sites of central Pisa from the hotel and it was delightful to be in the neighborhoods. We ate two nights in the hotel and were pretty much by ourselves. The first night that worried us a bit, but like a story book, we just let the owner make and serve what was fresh and the meal was so great we ate there again the next night. What is more romantic than you and your love, alone in a restaurant with the full attention of the owner?? We love to stay at high end hotels, but we also treasure the chances, like this one, to stay in a family run, neighborhood hotel that is not pretentious, but is caring and tasty!

Hotel is very very poor. Bathroom needs replacing, smelly. Rooms 2 star, uncomfortable bed sheets horrid. Avoid if possible. I am a regular business traveller and this is not somewhere to stay despite location near the airport. I cannot recommend NOT staying here enough

First of all, would like to say that we are travelers with at least 2 to 4 programmed trips per year, for the last 15 years, usually in Europe, I am saying that cos the comments are based on various experiences. The reason we booked this hotel was that we were arriving at Pisa`s airport very late at night time and the next day after visiting the leaning tower of Pisa we were traveling to Florence, Pisa airport is literally 5/6 minutes walk from the hotel, and the train station we picked up from the train to Florence 8/10 minutes walking distance. We book a normal room (named economy), nothing similar to the page photos, and that was our worst stay!!! The room door is entered directly from the exterior parking lot side, so during the night, we could clearly hear cars parking in front. The room smelled awful, good thing there was a pot of peppermint outside the door in the parking lot, which I grabbed and put next to my pillow so I could sleep somehow, very tired from the fly. At first, I thought it was a staff room because opposite the main door there was another door that was standing open leading to the kitchen side. The room had one double and two single beds with very little space between them, a small moldy fridge, and an iron cupboard. We used the double bed which was extremely horribly uncomfortable with a mattress that must have been used for a very long time and feels springy when you lie down. The bathroom was better than the room, but there is no place to put the bathroom products, the hotel products are not recommended

If it were possible, we would give this hotel ten stars. We just showed up without a reservation at 11:30 asking if there was an available room for three people. We were initially told no, but I think the gentlemen took pity on us because as we turned to leave he said he was able to move some things around and we could stay, but it wouldn’t be ready until 3:00. Side note: one of us had just been released from a local hospital, and we were all EXHAUSTED, so we asked if we could hang out in the lobby/café area until 3:00, which wasn’t a problem. He then came and found us no more than 40 minutes later and told us the room was ready! We all literally passed out for at least six hours. They had great food specials; we ordered a pizza and beer, which were delivered to our room (along with extra pillows “just in case”). Later on when I was outside the gentleman from the front bought me a glass of wine – nothing weird, just a nice guy=. I wish I could remember this guy’s name, but he was either the owner or family to the owner. Either way – he was the nicest man and went way more than above and beyond for us. If you’re ever in Pisa and need a place to stay – look no further!
