We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayview Hotel, deluxe room super comfy, staff friendly and welcoming. The location is great, in walking distance to shops and some amazing restaurants. Adi's restaurant on site is a bonus and has yummy food. Definitely a place to stay 👌

What a delightful place to stay …. Obviously an old hotel but a fantastic upgrade rooms are bright and beautifully decorated…. Public spaces very nice and modern …. Adi’s restaurant is also very good for any time of day Bedding NG and linen is of a good quality Fridge is a nice size

I spent 2 nights in this great hotel. It is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The quality of the linen and towels is high, the bed is huge and everything works well (usually I find something doesn’t work well in a hotel eg aircon, TV and I have to call for resetting!). Adi’s Kitchen provides very tasty food and honestly, one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. The 2 waitrons were super helpful and friendly (the maitre’d could try a bit harder to be pleasant though). Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel (deluxe room) for a solo traveller or couple.

Great Hotel in a great location in the centre of town. Staff are excellent,rooms large with a fridge which is essential. Great location in main street 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Great value especially if you book early as sometimes discounts are on offer.

I booked for my daughter and her partner who is visiting South Africa for a month. They had an amazing stay. The hotel is lovely and central. The staff friendly. Overall it was a perfect stay. Next time I will go myself. ;)

The family suite was very pleasant, fantastic balcony . Well fitted out with the essentials required. Staff were friendly in the hotel. Location central in the town so easy access to shops etc. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade. The beds were very comfortable

The Bayview Hotel in Plettenberg Bay is conveniently located on the main street, in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and shops, and a short drive from the beach. The accommodation on the second floor is was more comfortable and includes a small communal outdoor area for sitting. All rooms are kept clean and offer comfort. During my stay, I had to change rooms due to availability. I noticed a different outlook from the room on the first floor. It's worth noting that the rooms and bathroom fittings seem somewhat outdated. One drawback was the room's position facing the street, which resulted in noticeable noise during nighttime hours. The hotel's restaurant, Adis Kitchen, provides satisfactory vegetarian and dessert options. However, the included breakfast could benefit from more variety. The front desk staff are friendly and always ready to assist guests. Given the lack of Uber services in the area and considering the needs of guests like my mother, who found the walk to the beach challenging, it would be advantageous if the hotel could provide a golf cart or shuttle service.

Stayed a couple of times at the Bayview Hotel and it has now become my home from home. Staff are most welcoming, friendly and oh so helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, have my best sleeps when my head touches their pillows. The Hotel is centrally situated in Plett so you are close to everything and they have safe and secure parking. I cannot recommend the Bayview enough, it is the most enjoyable place to stay at, so do yourself a favour if wanting to stay in Plett then have a great time and booking into the Bayview Hotel.
