THE ROOM The rooms are very calming and understated with pastel tones. Our room had an incredible view of the marina from the balcony which was amazing to wake up to. Nice touches: - They have a drinking tap set up in the bedroom and 2 reusable LA ROQQA branded water bottles which guests can take home with them. - A WhatsApp group is created with the guest experience team rather than phones in the room. You can message or call the team 24 hours a day with any requests or questions. F&B - There is a small breakfast buffet but you are also able to order a la carte, with some lovely options. - Breakfast can be enjoyed on the rooftop or the inside restaurant (it does get a little windy outside). - The views for dining are second to none! - Dinner was served in the same place. There is an outside bar where pre dinner drinks are made and it is a beautiful setting for an aperitif. In the evening the rooftop is even more magical. - The petits fours in the evening were so fun and involved 3 little treats dotted on a map of Tuscany and relating to their region! EXTRAS - There is a shuttle service to their beach club (about a 5-minute drive). - The beach club is beautiful and has its own private beach with crystal clear water! - Guests can enjoy sun loungers on the beach or terrace with a welcome drink and fresh fruit throughout the day - very refreshing. - Would recommend the terrace area over the beach as the views from a little higher up are amazing! - There is also a beach club restaurant serving delicious fresh fish and seafood. - Just to note, the sea is a little tricky to get into and rocky but does turn to sand. STAFF The staff were so friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. LOCATION The location of the hotel is beautiful as it sits up high overlooking the marina. The hotel is 5-minute walk down to the marina where there are local shops and restaurants to enjoy. The town was not crowded at all and full of locals. Really nice contrast to our stay in Rome a few days prior. We felt like we could really switch off here and in a beautiful setting too. Overall a really fantastic stay!

A magnificent view over the beautiful bay of Porto Ercole from all the rooms. Never met any more friendly and welcoming staff than La Roqqa and I have been at many luxury establishments. The nearby beach club connected to the hotel was outstanding. Highly recommend a stay. Jan

La Roqqa opened this summer and is a tasteful and elegant boutique hotel situated by the charming harbor in Porto Ercole. If your plan is to have a la dolce vita stay - this might be your perfect escape. During our stay of four nights, me and my partner had the honor to be among the first guests. The rooms have a unique character, offers a huge balcony and very exclusive amenities in the bathroom. We truly recommend a room with a view of the harbor. The beds were 10/10 which for me is quite challenging to find in Italy. The staff impressed by being very accommodating and responsive, and they gladly took the time to inform us about the city and its rich history. We also took the opportunity to visit the associated beach club, Isolotto, a newly built paradise with top-class drinks and foods (do not miss the "Italian summer drink") and comfortable sunbeds offering a nice seclusion from other guests. 9/10. The rooftop had a pleasant atmosphere and view; it's very likely that many proposals will take place here. Food will not make you disappointed as it's absolutley top class. Drinks are made by their own mixologist, a great choice to enjoy apertivo as well. The breakfast there was also an experience, with a perfect combination of buffet and à la carte menu that meets international top standard while watching the harbour. 10/10 Throughout our stay, the service was impeccable, really proving that the hotel lives up to its high ambitions. We truly look forward to returning next summer to this charming place in Italy where you can avoid the masses.

First dinner on the roof top restaurant. A tasty vegetable appetizer . A super marinated eggplant and other first class plates. We had a rare Buttera steak, tender and juicy. Excellent Morellino wine The staff was super professional and friendly.

So there's this cool new hotel in town, La Roqqa Hotel, the talk of the area. The service is seriously on point – they remember your name and go out of their way to make sure you're having a good time. The rooms are well thought out and offer awesome views of Porto Ercole. And can we talk about the beds? I had the best sleep during my three-night stay. Oh, and the housekeeping is top-notch too. Now, the real standout moments were the things that took me by surprise. First off, the Terrace, it's something else, especially in the evenings. It's got this magical vibe that adds a whole new layer to your nights. And then there's the Isolotto beach club. You can hop on a free shuttle from La Roqqa or take a casual walk to get there. The water is crystal clear, the sunbeds are super comfy, and it's like stepping into luxury. The food? You've got to try their grilled seafoodmix – it's out of this world. And they know how to set the mood right with great music. My suggestion? Swing by for an evening "Appertivo" – you won't regret it. So, long story short, La Roqqa Hotel is making its mark around here with fantastic service, killer views, and a beach club experience that's all about the good life.
