Der Hotelkomplex des „Vienna House by Wyndham Havelufer Potsdam” liegt nahe am Havelufer und lädt in relative ruhiger Umgebung zum Verweilen ein. Allerdings sind einige der Zimmer eher einfach eingerichtet und verströmen lediglich durch mehrere Holzbalken als Gestaltungselemente in den Zimmern etwas Flair. Als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in Potsdam ist das Hotel nahe der Straßenbahnlinie S91 und dem Bahnhof Potsdam Charlottenhof gut geeignet, für längere Aufenthalte würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Ich war im September 2023 zu Gast in dem Hotel und hatte Doppelzimmer 215 zugeteilt bekommen. Das Zimmer liegt im ehemals als Korn-Speicher genutzten und jetzt umfunktionierten Hoteltrakt mit Blick auf eine rückwärtige Grünfläche und die Außen-Terrasse eines italienischen Restaurants. Dieses wird offenbar recht gut besucht – entsprechender Unterhaltungslärm war bei gutem Wetter abends in unserem Zimmer bis Restaurantschließung (Mitternacht) bei geöffnetem Fenster zu hören. Das Zimmer hatte eine einfache funktionale Ausstattung mit einem kleinen Doppelbett (gute Matratzen), Wandlehne mit zwei Abstell-Brettern (als Nachttisch-Ersatz), Tisch, ein Stuhl, Telefon, Fernseher, Spiegelgestell mit acht Kleiderhaken und zwei Schubladen (als Schrankersatz…) und der Möglichkeit, einen kleinen Koffer abzustellen. Durch ein Rundbogenfenster hatte man einen Ausblick auf die Grünfläche hinter dem Hotel. Das Badezimmer hatte eher den Charakter eines Jugendherberg-Bades mit einem Waschbecken (wie man sie oft auf Raststätten-Toiletten findet) und einer Duschecke mit Plastikvorhang. Daneben beengt: die Toilette. Seifengel und Shampoo-Fläschchen standen bereit. Recht gut empfand ich das Büfett-Frühstück, dass im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Grünbereich und Zugang zu einer Außenterrasse (mit Tischen und Stühlen) angerichtet war. An beiden Tagen meines Aufenthaltes herrschte gutes Wetter, so dass Frühstück auf der Terrasse im Freien möglich war. Hätte man die nichts nutzen können an den Tagen, wäre es im eigentlichen Restaurantbereich zu Wartezeiten gekommen, wenn das Hotel gut ausgelastet ist. Wartezeiten gab es auch an der nur einen (langsam arbeitenden) Kaffeemaschine. Fertiger Filterkaffee in kleinen Kannen stand bereit, die „langsame“ Kaffeemaschine bot auch Cappu, Latte und Co. Die Frühstückauswahl war gut, alles da: Verschiedene Wurstauflagen, Käse, Marmeladen, Obst, Joghurts, Eier-Variationen, Brot, Brötchen und Croissants, Cerealien, Säfte, Wasser und sogar Sekt. Zwei Fahrstühle bieten im Hotel gute Zugangsmöglichkeiten zu den Zimmern auf den vier Stockwerken. Außen gibt es im Freien eine Raucherecke mit Outdoor-Sofa. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle S 91 ist nahe dem Einfahrtsbereich des Hotels an der Zeppelinstraße und schnell erreichbar. Bis zum Bahnhof Potsdam-Charlottenhof sind es 6 - 7 Gehminuten. Die Innenstadt (u.a. Holländisches Viertel) erreicht man nach 15 S-Bahn-Minuten. Nahe dem Hoteleingang gibt es mehrere Parkplätze, die 10 Euro pro Tag kosten. An der

Le personnel du restaurant/du petit déjeuner a malheureusement été plus attentif à ce que l'hôte - revenir en temps utile (au moment de l'entrée, j'ai été informé que je viendrais 10 minutes avant la fin du petit déjeuner, puis je ne devrais pas dire plus tard que je n'aurais pas su) - ou pas dérangé (mon mari voulait déjeuner et il n'y avait pas de personnel qui l'avait reçu. Alors il s'est posé sur une table sans réserve. Le personnel est venu dire qu'il faisait tout ce qu'il ne pouvait pas faire et ne pouvait pas s'asseoir là. Les questions sur la raison et la manière dont il fait la bonne chose n'ont pas été répliquées avec précision, mais il peut rester assis. Une troisième expérience pas si belle: à la demande du centre d'affaires placé sur Trip.com pour travailler sur le portable, mon mari devrait payer 100 euros pour 1 jour - il a été confondu avec une salle de réunion. Le matin, il a été dit à la réception qu'il pouvait s'installer dans un restaurant vide, et quand il voulait le faire ce matin, les employés du restaurant l'ont refusé. Malheureusement, ce n'est pas un séjour si beau pour nous.

It was the worst hotel on our Christmas trip, with the most expensive price. We requested a room with a view in a quiet part of the hotel, having written a letter to the hotel in advance with our wishes. But our wishes were not taken into account, rather the opposite - the room was provided in the building across the road from the main one overlooking the road and was very cold and uncomfortable. Weathered furniture, dirty refrigerator. Breakfast was also the worst of the seven hotels we stayed at during our trip. The only one good thing - we only booked one night. Unfortunately, I no longer want to come back here and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pet- and tourist-unfriendly place. My latest experience very much resembled extortion. I was charged 100 euro for dog’s fur on the bedsheets and 150 euro for dog’s fur on the floor (the hotel representative had to put quite an effort into scraping some with her shoe) and an approx 0,5 mm brown-ish spot on the carpet which they claimed to be “blood” (considering that there was an approx 5 cm black stain on the carpet as of my checkin which hotel apparently didn’t see as something of an issue to me as a guest). I used to like this hotel (despite being placed on several occasions in rooms with obvious sewage issues), until I stayed there with my dog. I presented my dog at the reception at the checkin (that is the receptionist saw the dog). Paid 15 eur per day pet fee and proceeded to the room. No additional rules, policies or verbal requests were presented to me. My dog damaged a pouffe which I informed the hotel about at the checkout and happily paid whatever was asked of me (200 eur). In addition to that I was demanded to pay 100 eur for some fur on bedsheets and 150 eur for some fur on the floor as mentioned above. No oficial price list was presented. No explanation why 15 eur a day pet fee wasn’t covering washing blankets and vacuuming floor was provided, all my questions or logical arguments were ignored. The team of hotel representatives generously offered me a 50 eur discount on cleaning (which I didn’t ask for) only confirming that the amounts weren’t based on any actual price list, because if the hotel really suffered a loss of 250 eur why would they “gift” me 50 eur. I considered it to be an extortion and suggested to call the police. When I came back after 15 min the hotel still hadn’t called the police. As I had an urgent matter and had to leave, I paid the hotel whatever its staff demanded. I think what actually happened is the hotel staff had accidentally or recklessly placed us in a no-pet room (as there was a carpet, unlike in some other rooms. I was placed into that room after finding out the one I was initially given smelt of sewage - repeatedly happened before). And instead of charging their staff, they’ve charged me, so that they can do (if they actually do) for some deep cleaning after an animal to make it suitable again for people with allergies. Staff’s rudeness and ill attitude with me as a client weren’t in line with the hospitality filed’s even moderate standards. Most customers might find this hotel pleasant - which it is, until it is no longer.

Bon hôtel solide avec un assez bon rapport qualité/prix. C'est dommage que le sauna n'ait pas été utilisé - cela fait probablement un moment, mais il fait toujours l'objet de publicité !!! Pourquoi plusieurs programmes des 20 premiers emplacements du téléviseur ne sont-ils pas occupés du tout ? Pourquoi les programmes existants ne sont-ils pas enregistrés sur les stations 1 à 3 fois de suite ? L'invité doit laborieusement cliquer - une petite chose, mais évitable. La chambre et la salle de bain sont de bonne taille et on s'y sent très à l'aise ! Petit déjeuner bon et copieux ! Avec plaisir encore !

+L'emplacement est idéal pour les clients qui souhaitent se rendre au stade olympique. 2 stations, arrêt vraiment juste en face de l'hôtel. +Quelques malentendus lors de la réservation ont été facilement traités et acceptés par la réceptionniste. + Le petit déjeuner est bon et la vue du 16ème étage est fantastique. Le café est encore meilleur ainsi. La sélection est un petit-déjeuner buffet classique comme dans presque tous les hôtels, principalement des œufs brouillés et du bacon ;) +- parking souterrain par nuit 10€ ce n'est pas sans mais j'ai aussi payé beaucoup plus cher. +-Relativement cher pour ce que l'hôtel offre dans l'ensemble. Vous paierez principalement pour l'emplacement. Chacun doit décider par lui-même si cela en vaut la peine. Je le réserverais certainement à nouveau si j'ai besoin d'un hébergement là-bas. +- J'ai spécifié des lits simples lors de la réservation, mais nous avons eu des lits doubles. Je ne peux pas dire si c'était une erreur de Trip.com ou de l'hôtel, mais les lits étaient assez grands pour que cela ne nous dérange pas. Mais cela ne devrait vraiment pas arriver. -Pas si agréables sont les toilettes dans le hall qui sont au sous-sol ou dans la cage d'escalier. Ça puait tellement que vous deviez presque vomir. Quelque chose doit être fait ici d'URGENCE. Je ne pouvais pas l'expliquer parce que les toilettes étaient toutes propres, mais ça puait. Cela ne devrait pas arriver dans un hôtel de cette gamme de prix ! Heureusement, les toilettes de la chambre étaient bonnes.

Le personnel était agréable et agréable. La bonne partie de la ville avec des liens de transport convenables. La chambre était spacieuse et lumineuse. Capable d'ouvrir les fenêtres à une rue calme et feuilletée. Le style de l'intérieur n'est pas celui d'un super moderne hôtel..
