Grand Highland Hotel

An amazingly charming hotel with well-appointed guests rooms. While smaller, the rooms have everything you need for a nice get away. Our extremely clean and tidy Rodeo Room had a coffee maker (a must for me) and a place for everything. The bathroom was well laid out and the bathtub felt opulent. Staff were all very friendly and exceedingly helpful. We ordered the Romance Package to celebrate our anniversary. What a treat. The roses are still alive after two weeks! While a weekend stay right above the action of Whiskey Row does produce some noise (ear plugs and a white noise machine were provided to help alleviate this), we found it manageable. The trash truck out the back alley was all that woke us up one morning. The location right off the square made most activities we wanted to do within walking distance (besides the hiking trails around the area) and we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the character of the town. We will definitely be returning to check out more of the unique rooms right on the square. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away.

Lovely little spot right in the heart of the cute town of Prescott! We loved being so close to the fun spots - quiet room and so quaint!

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was very clean along with our room. We thought that the room itself was very charming, although it was small we didn’t spend very much time in it so it was perfect for what we needed it for. The bathroom was a really good size and was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for anyone who is interested in staying on Whiskey Row.

Staying in this hotel requires you to haul your luggage up twenty-two steep stairs. No one is on duty after 5 pm. As it happened, we had an issue with the room’s mini-split remote (dead batteries ). We called the evening number. Manager indicated that he was AN HOUR away, but he enabled us to cannibalize the remote batteries in an unoccupied room. The room was cutely decorated, and the bathroom was beautiful. Location is good if you like hanging out on the main drag. We would go elsewhere next time—too many in inconveniences.

We recently stayed at the Grand Highland Hotel. It was such a cute hotel and tastefully decorated. The room was small but it’s a historic site that should be expected . The bed and pillows were super comfy! Parking directly behind the hotel was very convenient.My only suggestion would be another light in the room by the coffee maker. We ate at Papas Italian…. Delicious! Bills pizza was very good. Be sure to stop by the Palace, a lot of history and great staff. My only complaint…. And not even a complaint, more of a suggestion for all hotels these days. Travelers are still paying premium prices for rooms and housekeeping seems yo have gone away. I know things can be requested as needed. My suggestion is when I check in if I don’t want housekeeping take $10 off my nightly rate, otherwise my room will be cleaned daily.

Spent most of the day near around Court House Square / Whiskey Row. Including lunch & dinner (lots of choices). Took a side trip to Watson Lake - not to be missed. Regretted missing a visit to the grave site of Big Nose Kate and the museum. Lots of touristy shops. Road construction on the route back to Phoenix made the drive taxing.

Good use of space for the small room. Nice bathroom, big sink, and nice towels. A small coffee pot was a plus. But the pack of coffee was for single cup. The reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was the ceiling fan needed cleaning and the back of the door had coffee spilled down it 😲.

Very clean room and well-appointed. Friendly staff and literally right in the heart of town! I stayed in the Grand Highlander room which overlooks the courthouse and would highly recommend this hotel.

The Grand Highland Hotel is a wonderful hotel. My sister had her wedding here. The rooms are nice . I liked that it’s a small hotel. The venue space is awesome. Indoor and outdoor space. She had the ceremony outside, dinner inside, dj & dancing outside and a retro RV photo booth. Had a wonderful stay & time.
