Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Resort

We have stayed at the hotel twice before, under the previous management. Unfortunately, the new brand has failed to meet our expectations. The premises are the same but we have experienced a sense of abandonment. Some shops are now closed, only one restaurant is operational (the Puro restaurant) apart from the Pizza, and the food quality is less compared to Maxi’s. Puro restaurant (ex Maxi’s) has Italian with a mix of Asian cuisine… Really?? Who wants Asian food in Italy?? The Italian dishes were quite good but the Asian were not so good. If you wish bread with your dinner it comes with an extra charge and usually arrives at the end or in the middle of your meal…. This is quite odd for the Italian standards. There is no service at the beach, you have to get your own drinks from the main bar and the “Miami grill” section although it has a nice pool, umbrellas and sun beds, it looks completely abandoned…. Many empty beds and not service whatsoever. No drinks no snacks and no service at your umbrella as it used to be. Not even in the middle of August….This area used to be reserved for the hotel’s clients and it was the best part of the entire bathing establishment. Quiet and ideal to relax. Now it’s just sad to watch….. if, nevertheless, you still want to spend the day there, you need to pay extra. As a customer of the hotel you can use, free of charge, the green beach where everyone has access. This makes it extremely crowded. The pool there was full of children of all ages. It was impossible to swim! The more quiet places come with an extra charge. As many things in this hotel. The rooms are well appointed as they used to be and the staff is very friendly and polite and I could see they were doing their best. This hotel used to be one of our favorites places in Italy. Today you pay double the price and you get minimum service. I understand that the transition from one management to another doesn’t always come easy and it needs time but if you cannot be fully operational and you are not able to provide the proper service to your clients then you should not charge over 500€ per room, per night. As a conclusion, although we love this place, we will not visit it again unless it gets better. We prefer to remember it at its best….

Exceptional stay at Tivoli Portopiccolo! From the warm welcome to the fond farewell, the entire experience was outstanding. The room was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a stunning view of the port. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable (especially Beata Miesiak, the concierge).The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, and the hotel's amenities, such as the fitness center and pool, were top-notch. However, I would recommend turning on the AC in the fitness center & providing water in there, as well. The location was perfect, within walking distance to local bars & restaurants. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary wi-fi & welcome drinks. 🍺 Great wood fired pizza place nearby 🍕! Overall, Tivoli exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient, and memorable stay. Well done, team!I will definitely return!"

We thoroughly enjoy the experience of staying in hotels. The comfort and convenience they offer truly enhance our travels. I must commend the hotel for its exceptional services. Every aspect, from the attentive staff to the impeccable amenities, truly contributed to a wonderful stay.

We spent two amazing days here! The hotel is great, the service is beyond praise. I especially want to mention Giuseppe, thanks to him our dinner at the Ocyan restaurant on my birthday was unforgettable. Thank you, dear Giuseppe!

We have been traveling to Sistiana in the low season. Staff (Mr. Giuseppe Elly in particular) extremely friendly and assisting in any matter. Although it was very calm we enjoyed exactly this during our stay. Everything is very tidy and well maintenend.

OMG! Best hotel we ever been to and we stayed at a lot of hotels really! Room is perfect with small balcony with the view to the marina and mainland! Service on the highest level as you expect from 5 star hotel. The wellness and spa in the hotel (not the big one as it is closed currently) was also amazing, 2h per day and you can book a slot so basically it is a private spa for you! Breakfast really on the top level! Location is fabulous!!! Can not imagine how good it is in summer as we were super happy during our New Years Holiday over there! And ones the big spa will be reopen it is gonna be a real paradise on the earth!

The hotel is amazing, the staff very friendly and the whole experience was excellent. I was gifted with a bottle of sparkling wine on my birthday which was a really nice surprise. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

Almost everything close to perfection ! Amazing structure, superbe deco, furniture , spacious and luxurious rooms .. great setting and view on the marina .. very nice spa .. good restaurant.. great and friendly service .. I’ll soon be back

My wife and I have visited Portopiccolo several times in the past ex-Falisia resort. The hotel is the same, the staff has changed. From the staff, I would like to highlight the concierge, sorry I forgot his name, his services are really exceptional. The professionalism and friendliness are exceptional. I would also point out the waitress in the beach bar area - TERACO. Elly she is very frinedly. Considering that the hotel has only been open for 3 months, I expected more chaos, but there was no chaos. Every employee tries his best. I hope that the management will employ additional people, especially people in the service, this is the only glaring problem. As for cleanliness and everything else, the hotel remained at the level. I am asking the restaurant management for a more varied menu and especially an emphasis on Italian-Mediterranean food. At the moment it is a kind of mix of Spainish and western European. Of corse you will get allso pasta. My wife and I already looking forward to visit you again, I hope you manage to open the main SPA in the near future.
