En hauteur des vignes, alliant le côté rustique à la modernité, avec un personnel chaleureux et avenant, bref, un endroit magique qui mérite d être visité. Une ambiance calme et détendue, avec aux alentours beaucoup de lieux a visiter.

The hotel is set in a lovely place and seemed like a promising spot for a night’s stay before our onward journey to Lake Garda. Arriving at reception, we were showed to our room which was pleasant. However, the receptionist then told us that the room could be noisy due to the attached hotel restaurant and suggested moving rooms. This turned out not to be possible due to other rooms being full. She informed us that noise should be over by midnight. Not thrilled at this, we went to eat. Food and wine were good so spirits were up. Getting back to our room around 11, we settled in for the night. It was very noisy at that stage with the music from below loud. Conversation was easily audible with any sense of soundproofing non existent. the bass was the worst though and despite earplugs, it cut through everything. Gone 2am the music was still in full swing making sleep completely impossible - unacceptable. Another downside was the showers. The temperature would not go above lukewarm. A promising place let down by the basics - impossible to get a good night sleep and poor heating for showers. Disapppointing.

One of my favourite hotel from Italy. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great( you ca see the Valpolicella).The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Verona or even to see, learn and taste the Valpolicella beginings.

I honestly didn’t expect such an experience! Everything was full of history, every room, every corner, every design that was made, has something behind. The rooms from the Castrum Relais are very comfortable, and spacious. They have everything you need, and more. Some rooms are inspired by mithological characters, such as Achile, Justitia and more. The food was great (we only ate the breakfast) which was very good. The Castrum Bar & Bistro offered a lot of option such as traditional food. They had the best wine I have ever drank. Not a big fan of wine in general, but it was something special about this one (they made the wine) Overall, this is a must see place, even if you are going with your kids or not!

The location was great, just a little outside of town and quiet with a nice view. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. The rooms were really nice and just what we needed to come back and relax. Parking was free and easily accessible. Really loved the location, people and facilities.

This is a beautiful hotel filled with old-world charm. The rooms are very pretty and the beds are comfortable. The staff could not be more kinder The breakfast in the morning was spectacular, with delicious homemade cakes. The cappuccino was the best I have ever tasted. I cannot say enough good things about the hotel and the lovely people who work in it. We had an absolutely delightful time.

We had a just 1 day stop in this beautiful area. But it was just perfect...for sure we will be back! The view from our room was wow..... we had a stunning sunrise over the vineyard. The evening at the Bistro Castrum was also very nice. The stuff was very friendly and helpful! Special thanks to Ana!

We spent several wonderful days of vacation at Castrum Wine Relais. The location of the accommodation is superb, situated on a hill in Castelrotto, from where the entire Valpolicella Classica area can be seen in all its splendor. Both the apartments and the double rooms are recently renovated, very clean and well maintained. The apartments are nicely decorated. Breakfast is very varied and tasty, and can also be served on an outside terrace, from where you can admire the beauty of the Valpolicella region. Do not miss the tasting of wines specific to the Valpolicella region (Ripasso, Amarone, Reciotto) produced by the Borghetti family, which owns the winery and the accommodation.

This is a very nice mansion with the family winery. It is in the heart of Valpolicella. Close to the highway. Great for a quick transit or couple days stay. Really nice wine, nice bistro and spacious and clean rooms, Friendly staff. Stylish surroundings. You want to be there!
