Marina Bayview Gran Canaria - Adults Only

Lovely hotel. Mostly good views, lunch was good and drinks were nice. Pool we found was a nice temperature and the apar**ent we got was super spacious. It was really quiet and perfect for a romantic getaway. The jacuzzi on the upper right side was so beautiful too! We got the wrong room when we got there and the two guys in reception helped us change room within 10 minutes- super helpful! We got a lovely room, good amenities. Shame the bar is only open until 6pm especially considering it’s such a trek to anywhere for a drink. one downside was that one lady in reception who was completely useless. I called reception twice to say there were cockroaches in our bathroom and if someone could just bring some bug killer, no one came or called me back for 24 hours, I went for a 3rd time back to reception and then they finally sent someone over to sort it…Really gross. I would definitely recommend this hotel aside from that! We didn’t find the steps an issue (if you rent a car there’s free parking behind anyway). We didnt think the food in any of the restaurants around the hotel was great so wouldn’t stay in PR again, but would absolutely check out their other hotels.

This was almost a perfect place to stay I requested a room close to the pool and was given b100 and it was exactly what I wanted even had a view which i wasnt expecting. Apar**ent are lovely cleaned most days beds very comfortable. We ate breakfast here every morning and it was good with lots of choice. Pool is slightly heated still a little cool. If you are looking for a relaxing stay this is the place for you if you are looking for something lively stay elsewhere. The only bad point on this accomodation is the steps I probably wouldn't have booked and don't think I would return and it's only because of the steps. While they aren't the worst just think it should be made more clear when booking that the steps are the only way out unless you want ti get a taxi everywhere especially as I had told them my husband has a problem with his hips

This hotel is no way 4 star we paid over the top for a select room for a Birthday and on arrival we was put in C112 it was the furthest away from reception and steps to it on photos of room it showed 3 steps down from kitchen to bedroom it was actually 17 steps up with 2 heavy cased wardrobe not big enough to even fit I child's clothes in WiFi doesn't work upstairs balcony and view excellent but in full sun all day you you think there would be an umbrella but no table and chairs that hot you couldn't sit down paint and plaster falling off the walls on balcony little midges and flies all over bathroom shower not warm blinds in bedroom that thin as soon as sun came up it was like daylight in the bedroom. Pool area looks superb but with a south facing pool you would think the fixed umbrella would be at the bottom end of your lounger but no its at your head so the shadow is behind you trouble is behind you is the path everyone walks on so you couldn't move your bed !! There is no way this hotel lives up to 4 star rating you also need a taxi just to go to a shop would not recommend this hotel to anyone no where near the quality of its sister hotel Marina Suites

We spent a week here in the middle of October and it was so lovely. The weather didn’t disappoint either! From the views of the marina at reception to the welcome drink when we checked in, our first impressions were really good. The rooms are nice and have everything you need for a self catering holiday. The beds were comfy and shower was powerful. Lack of toiletries in the bathroom (only shampoo/shower gel) but the robes and slippers were a nice touch. The pool is clean and spacious and the beds all have comfy toppers on them. We never struggled for a sunbed no matter what time of day we went down. The pool bar food and cocktails were great, a bit pricey for a pool side bar but it did have a classy feel about it. There are a lot of steps down from the hotel to the main street but as a couple in the 30s, we found it ok (eventually!!) but I can imagine it could be a struggle for some. Cute little kittens by the entrance on the steps make the journey up a bit more bearable! Plenty of restaurants nearby and it was a good 20 minute walk to the commercial centre from the hotel which has loads of choice. Tipsy Bee is a great bar for cocktails! Would recommend the ferry trip to Puerto Mogan, such a pretty place. 13 euro return each with boats going every hour from the port just down from the hotel. All staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful - we can’t wait to return here for another holiday. Gracias Marina Bayview! ☀️

Marina Bay View is the most beautiful find...views looking onto the marina...rooms immaculate...We had a very peaceful and relaxing time away...The food at the restaurant beside the pool was lovely....Would definitely come back for another visit...sad to be leaving today....

Hotel looks so much better than on photos been very surprised everything in white colour with stone floor. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean, full kitchen equipment include freezer, pots, cutlery. Tasty Breakfast. 2 min away from restaurants, 10 min from beach ⛱️,15 min walk from city centre 🏙️. Beautiful pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, quiet, adults only. Next to hotel free parking for your rented car.

Fantastic hotel excellent quality with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities and an excellent breakfast. Nice restaurants a short walk, stairs, away and a lively Irish bar. Would recommend this hotel if you want a high quality relaxed holiday

Absolutely fantastic yet again thankyou Jose many years we have been coming to Marina bayview every single time we come is amazing from the service of Petra in the restaurant to both the Jose,s in reception to nelly the cleaner all are amazing and a credit to the Marina company , they deserve praise for customer care and service but most importantly a pay rise wouldn’t go amiss!! Wonderful holiday fantastic apar**ents and like the upgraded rooms which now have tv in the bedrooms, just 1 bit of advice maybe it’s time for you to consider getting sky tv and Wi-Fi

Lovely apar**ent in a beautiful well kept complex, great food, facilities and staff. Would have been a 5 star but the 132 steps to reach the road to get anywhere was awful especially if you don’t like heights or steps. The main road below could get very noisy but generally was ok.
