Airwell Bed and Breakfast

My wife And I LOVE this place! We have stayed a few times and every stay is perfection. The owners Lisa and Todd are awesome. They go way above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. We are hooked on Nan's Cottage. It's a private cottage next to the main house with everything you could ask for. The breakfast is THE BEST and brought to your room. We have stayed at plenty of B&Bs and Airwell is by far our favorite!

Great romantic B&B! One of our top favorites. Lisa and Todd are great hosts. We stayed her in 2020 and were thrilled to come back for a spontaneous get away. Great hiking nearby which is a big plus. Wonderful breakfast. Great room loved the fireplace. In 2020, we stayed in the Powel studio which is separate from the house. We loved being in both the main house and the studio. Just an hour from Burke.

Absolutely awesome experience. We stayed in Nans Cottage. Todd & Lisa super Hostesses. Breakfast were scrumptious and so elaborate. Would highly recommend. Very convenient to many winieries in the area.

Chose this as a fun overnight getaway because as former history majors we can't resist an old home and it delivered on every point! First the property is gorgeous - the house is incredible, the land is beautiful. We stayed in the Dogwood Room which was very luxurious and even featured a lovely fireplace. Every detail in the room had comfort in mind - soft linens, glasses at the ready, comfy chairs by the fireplace, plush carpet, heavy curtains, and information at your fingertips for anything you could think of. The water pressure in the shower was great and bathroom was large enough to accommodate two people trying to brush teeth etc. They also had snacks and water immediately outside in the hallway in addition to the beer and wine for sale. I've been raving about the delicious breakfast to everyone - the most decadent filled french toast I have ever had. We really appreciated it's easy driving proximity to some of the local wineries - we went to an event at Walsh Family Wine - and all the great restaurants in Purcellville. Todd and Lisa were so friendly and warm - some of the most lovely BnB hosts we've had a chance to meet. Since we were there in December the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there were candles in every window. It really was the most romantic spot to stay and we only wished we'd booked several nights instead of one. Oh well guess we have to head back ASAP!!

This is a top-notch establishment! Todd and Lisa have thought of everything. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and sparkling clean. Grounds are well kept with a hammock, corn hole, gazebo and a hot tub. Breakfast was brought to us in a lovely basket in the morning - including a blueberry french toast casserole, sausage, and fruit cup with yogurt and granola. Delicious!! Keurig in the room with a large selection of coffees and teas as well as chocolates to nibble. Cookies and other snacks are in the hallway. Our room had a fabulous separate tub and shower and the whole bathroom was appointed beautifully. Very relaxing experience here AND it's close to many wineries as well as beautiful drives through sumptuous scenery around Middleburg, and Middleburg was a gem of a town to meander through. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back.

Comfort, beauty and warm hospitality greet you at this historic, charming setting in the middle of wine country and rolling countryside. Long, leisurely conversations around the grand dining room table enjoying a sumptuous breakfast was a perfect start to each day of our family gathering.

Our stay was fantastic. Many thoughtful touches by the hosts, adorable rooms and really delicious breakfasts. I also had the most relaxing shower in the fancy shower in the Ashby suite. We also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. We went to Harper's Ferry and the drive there was very scenic - the homes in the neighborhood are so cute! We were genuinely sad to go and would highly recommend Airwell to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay, a comfortable 'home' base while traveling or a romantic getaway.

My husband and I spent our 52nd anniversary at Airwell and we were extremely pleased with everything about it -- our room; the ambience; the food; getting to know the owners, Lisa & Todd. Our only regret is that we didn't stay a couple more nights to fully enjoy all the amenities of the inn, i.e., the cozy library, the side porch w/swing, the outdoor room, hot tub, etc. We hope to return in future and upgrade to one of the lovely suites or cottages. Todd and Lisa have thought of everything. From warm, comfortable, clean rooms to a home made breakfast in the morning. The location is close to hiking, wineries, historical sites and much more. We had the perfect stay.
