Very helpful staff who recommended restaurants for us. Great location to beer museum, we were lucky enough to get free room upgrade too. Breakfast was delicious.
Only complaint was AC is centrally controlled and was set to heating, so couldn't cool the room as desired and had to open window instead.

Je suis venu à Qingdao pour la première fois avec mes amis. Nous recherchions depuis longtemps. Je voulais découvrir les B&B spéciaux de Qingdao. J'ai choisi le Jiaobao Inn. Il a conservé les caractéristiques de l'ancien bâtiment. dispose également d'installations modernes. La dame de la réception m'a recommandé des lieux d'enregistrement à proximité et a pris beaucoup de photos. Je suis arrivé précipitamment cette fois et je n'ai pas fini mes achats. Je reviendrai la prochaine fois quand j'aurai le temps et regarderai de plus près les environs.

C'est l'hôtel le plus propre où j'ai séjourné depuis mon arrivée à Qingdao. Une jeune femme rondelette est à la réception. Le service est excellent et les clients se sentent très à l'aise. L'emplacement du B&B est idéal, à proximité de Taitung et de la station de métro. La réception est très patiente et répond avec enthousiasme à toutes les questions. Les personnes âgées et les enfants de la famille vivent très bien. La décoration des chambres est également très soignée, ce qui plaît beaucoup aux enfants.

The hotel is a family-friendly choice, with a kids’ slide that delighted our children. Cleanliness was well maintained throughout the rooms and public areas, which gave a comfortable impression. On the downside, the hairdryer in our room was faulty and regular towels were not available, only thin disposable ones. Waiting for the lift often took longer than expected, which became inconvenient during busy times. Despite these shortcomings, the staff were consistently helpful and willing to assist whenever needed. With improved amenities and quicker lift service, this hotel could offer an even better experience for families.

SSalehbaigiMy wife and I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Qingdao City and we are so thrilled with our experience that we felt compelled to share. This hotel truly stands out for all the right reasons and provided us with a comfortable, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable getaway.
From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property. The lobby was bright and inviting, the hallways were pristine, and our room was immaculate. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, and it made our stay feel both safe and luxurious.
The staff deserves a special mention. Every team member we encountered, from the front desk to the dining area, was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They greeted us with genuine smiles, were always ready with a local recommendation, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their positive attitude really set the tone for our entire trip.
Now, let’s talk about the breakfast – it was excellent! We’ve stayed at many hotels where the complimentary breakfast is a bit of an afterthought, but not here. There was a fantastic variety of selections to choose from. We enjoyed hot items like waffles and scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, pastries, and healthy yogurts. The coffee was always fresh and piping hot, and there was a great selection of teas and chilled juices to start our day right. It’s a real game-changer to begin a day of exploring with such a satisfying and delicious meal.
What truly sealed the deal for us was the incredible value. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in a similar category that we've stayed at in Qingdao. You get so much more for your money here—the excellent breakfast, the modern, clean rooms, and the wonderful service make it a standout choice.
The location was another huge plus for us. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without a car. Furthermore, the surrounding area is vibrant and full of life! We loved being able to step outside and find great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It felt like we were in the heart of the action.
Finally, as non-smokers, we greatly appreciated that the entire hotel, including all rooms, was completely smoke-free. It made the environment so much more pleasant.
In summary, our stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Qingdao was practically perfect. It offers incredible value, combining cleanliness, exceptional service, a delicious breakfast, and a prime location. Not because the hotel was amazing but because of the staff. I ended up switching to this hotel after I spent the first night in another hotel because of my terrible experience.
The front desk staff was incredibly patient with me and very kind despite me not speaking Chinese. They showed me multiple rooms and they even held my bag while I went to check out the competition across the street. I immediately checked into this hotel once I saw what else was out there. The manager was incredibly nice and gave me a free upgrade to a single queen bed with a window at no extra charge. The room was incredibly clean, spacious and functional, especially for the price. I can not tell you how many times the staff assisted me during my trip, from helping me with my laundry, to pointing out night market directions, to making phone calls for me to reserve massages. Some of the best service I have ever experienced in a hotel in China.
The hotel itself is nothing amazing but it is the best location that you're going to find in Qingdao. It has a very awkward entrance as the frontage is occupied by a coffee shop and a milk tea shop but if you can put both of those things aside, you'll have an incredible stay here. The signage and labelling of the A and B towers leaves a lot to be desired and became confusing at times so I just memorized my route to the guest elevator and back. Is it a perfect hotel? No but the staff more then makes up for it's short comings. The Wifi didn't work for my night time work so the manager was nice enough to let me use her office as basically my private office with her own personal Wifi. I was incredibly grateful for that as she really didn't need to do that.
I would highly recommend anyone in Qingdao to stay here. The rates are comparable to all of it's neighbors but it has a superior location and staff. I will 100% be staying here again when I come back to Qingdao.
Apologies to the staff for my review taking so long but better late than never I guess. For the record, I ended up almost staying a week at this hotel and I really didn't want to leave Qingdao at the end of my trip.

MMichelThis place is ideal if you arrive late at the airport and leave early. It's a bit difficult to find (it's on the level of the departure hall). Very little English is spoken, but the staff is helpful. The amenities are limited, as the room has no shower or toilet, but it has a small desk and the bed is comfortable. I think it's too expensive for what you get, but the alternative would be to find accommodation further away and use taxis. Now you walk in a few minutes to the departure hall.

RRE_cyclingWe had an apartment on the 3rd floor. There was some dirt left in the bathroom, the drain was partly clogged by hairs which you dont immediately see, because it is under a cover. Inside the apartment there are stairs leading to a second level but upstairs there is nothing except for an additional bed and no windows.
Its a little unhandy that you need to go to the 9th floor of the neighbouring building to check in.
The view from the main apartment is pretty nice, one can see the sea from the bed! Location is also nice, close to the seafront.
