Ottimo compromesso per un week-end a Forte

We had forgotten our passports at the hotel. Strangely, the staff found only one of them, even though all the passports were together. They didn’t bother to call us to let us know. When I called to ask, they told me they had found one passport. I told them exactly where all the passports were located. I waited for half an hour, but they never called back. When I called again, they said they hadn’t found the others. I insisted they check again. Still, no one called me back. As a result, I had to cancel my flight — which cost me €500. After seven phone calls and 3.5 hours later, they suddenly “found” the remaining passports. This is completely unacceptable. There was no apology or compensation for their repeated mistakes and suspicious behavior. Tomorrow, I will go to the police and file a complaint for intentionally withholding our passports. —————— Avevamo dimenticato i nostri passaporti in hotel. Stranamente, lo staff ne ha trovato solo uno, anche se erano tutti insieme. Non si sono nemmeno preoccupati di chiamarci per avvisarci. Quando ho chiamato io, mi hanno detto che avevano trovato un passaporto. Ho spiegato esattamente dove si trovavano tutti i passaporti. Ho aspettato mezz’ora, ma nessuno mi ha richiamato. Quando ho richiamato, mi hanno detto che non avevano trovato gli altri. Ho chiesto di controllare di nuovo. Ancora una volta, nessuna chiamata. Alla fine ho dovuto cancellare il mio volo — con un costo di 500€. Dopo sette telefonate e 3 ore e mezza, magicamente hanno “trovato” gli altri passaporti. Questo è assolutamente inaccettabile. Non hanno offerto alcun rimborso o scuse per i loro errori ripetuti e il comportamento sospetto. Domani andrò alla polizia per presentare una denuncia per aver tentato di trattenere intenzionalmente i nostri passaporti.

We booked late in the evening, without any idea of ​​what the hotel would be like after calling other hotels nearby, all of which were fully booked. We were tired and nervous having arrived by ferry to Livorno with a terrible delay. Already on the phone, the staff was courteous and when we arrived we were pleased with the proximity to the motorway toll booth and even more with the beautiful room, modern, bright, and comfortable. The ample parking is definitely a bonus, as is the fact that they welcome pets. Breakfast was the icing on the cake, good quality and choice of sweet and savory, friendly staff. We got to explore the hotel a bit and we thought it was beautiful making us want to return at a better time.

Great hotel in a good location for the motorway and to go down to the seafront, embraced by the mountain views. Clean, fresh and contemporary decor throughout the hotel. Rooms clean and tidy. One negative about the rooms is that the boiling of the kettle is located above 5ft high, apart from that the rooms are very nice. Pool is clean but a bit cool. Restaurant has a good selection of ala carte food at a fair price. All staff very polite. A big plus here also is the ample amount if car parking and electric charging.

We stayed here for 2 nights before going up the mountains for a wedding. The hotel is very nice and was quiet. The pool is very large and was cold. The bar area was fantastic and comfortable. The bedroom we had a 3 bed was nice but very basic. Thin walls so we could hear every movement of the people in the hall way which wasn’t ideal as we had a toddler. We used the hotel bikes to go to forte de marmi which was amazing definitely recommend
