Très belle chambre, déco au top, personnel accueillant et attentif. Awki nous a bien renseigné dès notre arrivée, l'hôtel est proche du centro historico et le restaurant est très bon. Spécialités locales en options au petit déjeuner qui est copieux et savoureux Espaces communs, terrasse entretenue et jolie vue sur Quito

Superbe hôtel pour découvrir Quito ! La décoration et l’ambiance de l’hôtel sont tops et nous avons eu beaucoup d’aide du personnel pour réserver les excursions, taxis et même restaurants ! Définitivement on recommande ! Merci pour tout !

Loved our stay here. Nice location, only a small walk to the old town, supermarket right around the corner (with ATM) . The hotel offers a cultural experience with modern luxury. Really great service and it looks amazing. Would highly recommend!

Great cultural experience staying with this hotel! I could tell even before arriving that Awki, the manager/desk clerk,was customer service oriented. He was very attentive to our needs even when they may have been out of the ordinary. Restaurant was very impressive. We ate breakfast every day and some dinners. Including chivo/goat and cuy/Guinea pig. The stairs may be difficult for some as there is no elevator. The terrace on the third level also has a beautiful view. The water also stopped when one of our group was showering but usually everything worked well. The decor in general was very cultural and fun. This hotel exceeded expectations and I’ll stay there again if we visit Ecuador!

Location is Great! Short walking distance to Old Town Quito! Restaurant on ground level AMAZING FOOD! LOOKS AND TASTE!! Chef and Server Unique and Amazing Experience!! SPECIAL THANKS TO MONIQUE!! I was caught off guard 1st time to Ecuador and I know VERY little Spanish!! OPPS! MONIQUE SAVED THE DAY!! Also a EXTRA THANKS to the CHEF! SORRY I FORGOT YOUR NAME! BUT he was able to track down a Ecuadorian Sucre Banknote for my collection!! THANK YOU CHEF!! IF AND WHEN I GET BACK TO QUITO IT WILL BE THE CHAKANA B&B BOUTIQUE HOTEL CENTRO!!! THANKS!! OH YAH! THE ROOF PATIO AREA AMAZING VIEWS!!

This lovely boutique hotel is truly a hidden gem. The rooms and details throughout the hotel were thoughtfully created and honored indigenous culture. Breakfast was cooked fresh, and included eggs, ham, fruit, yogurt, granola, and juice which was a wonderful way to begin the day. Also, coffee and tea were available all day near the lobby. We had dinner one evening at the hotel and it was delicious! The staff made our visit exceptional! Isabella and Awki were so helpful and kind and made our stay special. We went to dinner at a recommended restaurant and Isabella made certain that all the transportation details were arranged. We asked the hotel to arrange a private tour, and our English-speaking tour guide Santiago was one of the best we could hope for! We had special dietary needs and he provided the perfect lunch. NOTE: The hotel is located on a transited corner. If traffic noise is bothersome, book a room facing the interior. We highly recommend Chacana for a special experience in Quito!

We stayed two nights at this uniquely designed hotel ,arriving December 2023, and came back for one more night after our four day trip. The service was nothing but excellent, the place is clean as beautiful as shown in the photos they advertise. The owners are on site along with the excellent crew. They will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re happy. The breakfast downstairs is not to be missed. They also have great recommendations for travel, agencies and attractions. Highly recommended!

Chakana Hotel was the best possible home base in Quito. Yvone and Awki are two incredibly kind and useful people who share their passion with everyone who comes to the hotel. The hotel itself is super tasteful with lots of history built in, and a fantastic restaurant downstairs! They let us store some things when we left to other parts of the country and returned at a later time in the trip! Absolutely great experience here overall.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! This was "home away from home" for us. The wonderful owners and staff made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. First of all, dear Awki who had arranged for a taxi pick up, welcomed us with smiles at 4 a.m. when we arrived from the airport. The hotel was like a well designed cultural journey through the region's historical empires with each room representing their symbols and art. We actually ended up changing all our other reservations so that we could continue to stay at Hotel Chakana which quickly became our home base in between our Ecuador adventures and tired feet. They accommodated all our needs and went way beyond & we couldn't get back to our comfortable & clean room every time. I would say besides my own home, I've never felt more welcome anywhere else in the world! I'd recommend here again and again to all those who care for genuine human kindness and care. Btw, their restaurant was fantastic too!
