Super 8 by Wyndham Rahway/Newark

The room was super dirty, the sheets were stained and dirty, the smell smells like cigarettes and ****, everything was too dirty. I don't recommend it to anyone

This place offers everything... but don't have anything... like no breakfast. No ice machine. No refrigerator inside.. no coffee machine... this place it's not good

The facility looks like a crime scene. My bed had cigarette holes in it. The blankets and Bedding were stained. The door did not latch properly. There was no breakfast available. Staff is unconcerned.

Run, run, run AWAY from this place. The website: NO LIGHT BREAKFAST, barely coffee, no creamer, 1 cup, no lids, only powdered creamer with a broken in lid; breakfast room stocked with boxes, couldn't even sit in there. NO COFFEEMAKER in the room as advertised, BROKEN refrigerator in room even though it is advertised on website; towels had BLACK MARKS on them. I was told they were washed and couldn't help it that the black marks wouldn't come out. NO REMOTE in room, bedspreads very dirty so we threw them on the floor and went downstairs to get our own blankets and got our beach towels to dry off from the shower. The carpeting had not been vacuumed in forever, the floors had not been mopped, there was no extra toilet paper, the FIRE ALARM WAS DISADLED, Removed from the ceiling and put on a shelf, dead flies in several places in the room including on the bathroom counter and window sill. THIS PROPERTY IS VERY RUN DOWN, LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE, and there are very questionable people smoking all over the place outside everywhere. I was given different names of managers, have emailed and called and never received a response. I ONLY stayed because I had driven many hours, checked in just after 10 p.m. so it was dark and couldn't see the condition of the property, it was pouring down rain and I was exhausted. All I wanted was a room to sleep in with a coffeemaker and a light breakfast AS ADVERTISED and couldn't even get that. Worst experience of my life.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel even if it was the last thing on the planet. The blankets have burn holes in them and not even just one small one. Huge gigantic burn holes. Outlets don't work, room smells like smoke, the floor was done poorly. Awful

Room was adequately sized. Bed was comfortable. Location was reasonably quiet for sleep. Wifi was broken that night, but honestly it gave me a reason to stop working and get some sleep. The hotel has a good location for getting to and from either I95 or Garden State Parkway.

I do not recommend this hotel bad area Police were there all night long loud. Upon arrival an ambulance was leaving with a guest in it, hoodlums on the stairs and in the parking lot not a safe place to stay at all.

This motel is exactly what I needed- moderate cost, essential services and near train station. Clean room, fiendly staff, other guests quiet. I found out when i arrived that not every room has fridge and microwave- it cost me $10 per night more, which is okay. So when reserving, may want to call instead of doing online- or maybe call after making reservation.
