Отличное место для отдыха, красивый сад. Очень приятные собственники, Девид, предложил нас подвезти до площади Манделы, подождал нас и привез обратно. Рекомендую !

Un très bel endroit avec un beau jardin et des chambres joliment décorées. In petit déjeuner varié pris sur la terrasse, un bon moyen de commencer la journée avant le travail ou les visites de la ville.

We were looking for a quiet place to spend a few days recovering from jet lag before heading off on safari and Burkleigh House far exceeded our expectations. The bridal suite is elegant and comfortable, with a soaking tub and luxurious bed. The garden and grounds are so lush that we decided to have a full day doing nothing but staying on-site and enjoying the nature, including a family of very fluffy chickens and a papa rooster. There was an engagement party happening the second day we were there and it was very fun to see the beautiful table settings and the garden party set up. Estelle is an amazing hostess, breakfasts were delicious and huge, and the owner, Patricia seems to love what she is doing. I feel so lucky to have discovered this gem.

My stay at Burkleigh House was absolutely amazing. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and the grounds as well as the rooms were in great condition. It was a beautiful, quiet guesthouse. Great for a little getaway, would highly recommend.

Burkleigh House is one of two properties I love to stay at whilst on business trips in Joburg. I recently had an issue during one of my stays and the hosts were attentive, they listed to understand my concern, and swiftly dealt with the problem. Given their care, attention, and genuine want to make me as comfortable as possible, I can wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

the Good the property is gorgeous, the food scrumptious and fresh, the rooms are well kept and furnished. The not so good the rooms do not have an ironing equipment the contact person within a property can not be reachable, as they do not answer your messages the liquid milk in the fridge was never changed or refilled so as the liquid bath soap , never refilled plus the TV just out of the blue stopped working and could not even get anyone to ask since you cant get anyone after 4 pm for help, also the ones who cleaned the room left it so without fixing it, but just switched it off another law that need to be reviewed, not allowing anyone of the guest's people to enter the premises

Thank you very much for an incredibly lovely morning with the small intimate wedding we did at your place. The service was excellent from the morning we visit to discuss the wedding to the end when we left after the day of the wedding. Everything about the venue is beautiful, very well-maintained garden and interior. The food was excellent. Every member of staff and owner provided a very friendly and professional service, and we will certainly recommend this venue. Excellent venue.

The pillows are honestly the fluffiest I’ve ever felt and the best genuinely the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! The food was incredible and the venue was really beautiful with a mix of modern & antique. Such a beautiful garden to walk around in and feel rested. 10/10 for me.

The place, people, food and service was all top tier. I'm more than happy that I chose them for my first solo trip, because now I'm motivated more than ever to take more solo trips and explore more places. They sure did set the bar high. Thank you!
