Hotel Der Seehof

This hotel is in a stunning location with beautiful lake views, however the room faced the busy main road. The windows are triple glazed and the room was quiet as long as the windows stayed closed with no fresh air coming inside! Another downside was that the room could only be reached by going a complicated way up in a lift and then up and down some stairs. Nevertheless the room was large with comfortable twin beds that were tied together with tape, a couch, desk and fabulous large modern bathroom with a huge vanity, magnifying mirror and walk-in shower. However the shower floor is plastic and can be dangerously slippery. A non-slip mat should be provided for guests. A safe, shoe-horn and sewing kit were provided but no kettle or coffee-making facilities and no cakes of soap or shower cap. Liquid soaps were provided but they were hard to differentiate as the labels were sideways in a small pale font that was difficult to read without glasses. The breakfast was one of the best ever in a German hotel with freshly cooked hot food being regularly topped up by the kitchen and fresh honey comb straight from the bee-hive. Service was excellent some days and other times no-one was at the reception desk.

We arrived and check-in was standard. We were early so we sat on the terrace area which was undoubtedly stunning and had a few drinks and our waitress was really nice. Plus the nice weather was fab. When we finally got to our room, it smelt of old smoke and being a non-smoker, it was not good. We went back to the terrace after a few hours in town and were met with a different type of service and it went down hill from there. I asked for a blanket as it got a little cold. 30 mins later, the waitress brought the blanket and literally threw it at me. The next day, we’re back on the terrace and had to go and find staff to get service. Other guests had commented the same. We had dinner on our 2nd night and it was delicious, and our server was lovely. Unfortunately, the finish of our stay was not good as it got cold outside & we wanted to sit at the bar inside. However, in a very impolite way, we were told we could not, that we could sit in the lobby. We decided to take our drinks to the room. For the prices charged, we expected more. Will not recommend this place to stay but for food we would recommend. After a year and a half of not being able to go anywhere because corona, we were really disappointed .

Great stay with great service. The staff were very kind and friendly. It’s placed great, with a great View to the Lake. The Lake was fantastic to bath in. We had small kids with us - without problems. It’s a good place to visit with kids. Only minus is: No aircondition in the rooms

Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat einen tollen Humor. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, was mir immer am wichtigsten ist. Die Zimmer sind groß und schön ausgestattet. Das Frühstück, sowie das Abendessen fand ich super. Die Fliegengitter am Fenster sind Gold wert gegen Stechmücken, denn so hat man seine Ruhe. Ich war rundum zufrieden, lustig fand ich nur den Turmventilator, eine fix eingebaute Klimaanlage wäre ästhetisch besser gewesen in dem schicken Zimmer. Aber gut, das kommt dann in Zukunft vielleicht noch.

Wir waren schon oft hier und haben immer gern das allgemein hohe Niveau der Qualität (inkl. der entsprechenden Preise) zu würdigen gewusst und auch gern bezahlt. Wenn allerdings ein lautstarkes iPad mit Fußballübertragung wichtiger ist als der das Wohl der übrigen Gäste, hat das Niveau doch merklich gelitten. Die Bitte an die ältere Bedienung, dies zu unterbinden, wurde dann auch keines Blickes oder einer Antwort gewürdigt, sondern vielmehr den entsprechenden Gästen auch noch mitgeteilt, wer sich denn hier beschwert hat. Wer ist hier der Störenfried? Der, der die Störung ohne Rücksicht auf andere Gäste verursacht, oder der, der dies montiert? Unglaublich für ein Haus dieser Preisklasse und leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen.

Dankeschön für ein grandioses Wochenende bei Euch. Das Team ist super nett und wir haben sogar ein Upgrade bekommen. Die Zimmer waren super und das Essen einfach fantastisch. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen. Volle Punktzahl

Wir hatten eine kleine Firmenjubiläumsfeier in November 2022 Planung und Vorbereitung mit der Direktionsassistentin (Frau Megies) absolut super! Rezeption ausgesprochen freundlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend - TOP Zimmer und Ambiente TOP Abendessen/Menü/Service einen besonderen Dank an Frau Heyer und die Küche! das hatte Sterne-Niveau absolut unübertrefflich Frühstück incl. Service absolut super! Fazit: Das beste Firmenjubiläum ever! Herzlichen Dank

Mooi hotel, mooie ligging. Goede kamers. Maar als je een trouwfeest in je hotel hebt en je verhuurt de kamers die boven de feestzaal liggen, betekent dit dat je gasten de hele nacht niet slapen. Bij de receptie werd gezegd dat ze normaal de kamers niet verhuren als er een feest is, op de vraag waarom dat nu wel was gebeurd kwam geen duidelijk antwoord. We hebben uiteindelijk de nacht wakker liggen niet hoeven betalen. Maar dat was niet waarvoor we kwamen. We hadden ons verheugd op een goed hotel en kregen een disco. Het ontbijt was goed maar ook niet meer dan dat. Het was nu niet overdreven warm buiten maar de kamers wel warm en enigszins benauwd. Er is geen airco op de kamers. Ook is er een beperkte parkeergelegenheid waardoor we betaald moesten parkeren en ook geen gebruik konden maken van de op de hotelsite aangeboden oplaadmogelijkheden voor de auto. Bij het inchecken kregen we te horen dat er maar 1x 2 dagen schoongemaakt wordt, op de site staat dat dat uit milieuoogpunt gebeurt, bij de receptie werd gezegd dat dat komt omdat er geen personeel genoeg is. Als je je kamer toch iedere dag wil laten schoonmaken betaal je een toeslag. Overigens was dit op het moment van boeken nog niet zo. Alles bij elkaar een hotel waar ik ooit naar terug zou gaan en ook niet aanbeveel.

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, kleine Zimmer mit durchgelegten Matratzen, hellhörig und schlechter Ausstattung. Die Sauna ist bereits sehr alt. Gute Location. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nur leider überhaupt nicht.
