Hôtels proches de St Joseph's Church, Reading

Très proche du centre-ville avec accès à la nourriture tardive. 15 minutes à pied à la gare. La chambre est proche et la salle de bain est propre. Cependant, il n'y a pas d'équipement. J'ai payé 10 livres supplémentaires pour vérifier tôt à 12 heures. Le ascenseur n'était pas en service à l'époque.

The good part: Staff are very friendly although check-in seems to take a little longer than Premier Inn, the reception area and seating to relax looks fantastic and the pizzas that the staff make 24/7 are absolutely delicious. The drink & pizza prices are reasonable. Location wise is spot on, just a two minute walk from the train station and central to everything. They provide more variety of tea & coffee in rooms, such as fruit & herbal teas, and decaff coffee, this totally beats any other budget hotel. Bad points: This is a cashless hotel & this is something i'm firmly against for a variety of reasons they lost £200 in sales due to this from myself & friends. The pillows are rock hard and kept waking up with a sore neck, the beds are also uncomfortable and feels like your sleeping on the floor. The noise from housekeeping is absolutely atrocious all you hear from several floors above and below, are the staff dragging large heavy trollies around and this goes on from 11am to 4pm if you need to sleep during the day forget it. The toilets smell of sewage & urine so sometimes you return back to your room and it stinks. There is also construction work ongoing Monday-Friday until Nov 2022 yet the prices are still very high. The cooling systems seem to work fine for an hour or so but then quickly the room becomes stuffy and warm, due to the location having the window open is very noisy especially at weekends.

Good location, good breakfast, nice person, a little bit noise on Saturday night, too hot in room, no air conditioning.

L'homme dans le chapeau adidas sur la réception était exceptionnel et nous a donné un très bon accueil, mais d'autres personnels nous ont donné un peu d'énergie mauvaise, mais nous pouvons regarder au-delà de ce qui est en raison de la légende dans le chapeau adidas était brillant. La chambre, conservée par la femme et ses animaux de rat qui ont écrasé leurs cheveux tout au long de la chambre, n'a pas été si bonne que l'homme à la réception, je me réjouis de revoir l'icône une fois de plus.

Service exceptionnel de la réservation à la sortie. Vivek, Catia et Riko... votre énergie et votre passion ooze par toutes les interactions et est contagieux! Chaque membre du personnel à chaque interaction est accessible, une mention spéciale à Nicola et Fariha à la réception; très utile et amiable, bien présenté et professionnel. Nous sommes bien déplacés, mais nous sommes en train de revenir à vous, quel que soit l'événement ou l'occasion que nous célébrons. À partir des anniversaires, des week-ends adultes, des pauses familiales, des week-ends de construction d'équipes... Il n'y a rien que nous ne nous fiions pas du personnel de l'hôtel à gérer. Merci de nous faire sentir partie de la famille Voco Reading, le meilleur hôtel #IHG dans cette partie de l'Angleterre, et nous revenons certainement. Excellent valeur pour l'argent pour le service que vous fournissez!

Juste un bain et pas de douche. Vous sentez comme chez vous, mais rien comme un hôtel moderne. Facilités de base. Chambre spacieuse. Lieutenant petit endroit avec parking gratuit. Il y a des plats de nourriture autour. Il était coincé dans Reading pour la nuit et il a vu cela est proche et le prix était juste..

Très bel hôtel propre, bien servi par les moyens de transport train et bus . Nous sommes arrivé assez tard et nous avons été bien accueilli. Un personnel très professionnel que ça soit à l'accueil ou au bars . Hôtel très très propre ambiance très chaleureuse surtout avec le barman. Hôtel digne d'un 5 étoile grâce à son personnel qui est réactifs à tout. Je recommande cet hôtel . K.Nannan .

We stayed at the Great House to celebrate a wedding anniversary and overall the hotel didn't disappoint. Check in was easy and our room was ready earlier than expected which is always a bonus. Our room was beautifully decorated with lovely touches such as pots of sweets, free water and some lovely classic touches such as the old phone. We had a river view room which is a bit of a stretch as you have to see over some rooftop vents to see it but that cant be helped and was very nice. The room was absolutely spotless and the bathroom in particular is very high spec which you would expect in a boutique hotel like this. The bathroom was incredibly hot but not a problem at all and a fan had been provided if it was or if the main room became too hot. We were woken up by a fire alarm which went on for about 15 seconds at about 9am and certainly was a bit of a shock and incredibly loud (which is a good thing in an alarm!) but wasn't ideal. The staff didn't mention anything but an apology would have been nice but we didn't raise it so maybe they weren't aware of the problem. The only other problem which we did raise was the service in the Coppa Club which is where breakfast is served. We ate there twice during our stay and both times encountered issues with service. We wouldn't have returned but felt obliged as Breakfast was included. Considering how lovely the hotel is and the service provided is superb it is a shame it is slightly tarnished by the next door restaurant. Overall would definitely recommend staying here and certainly didn't see any of the parties that some people complain about. Hopefully will be back soon.

Excellent temps, chaleureux chambres propres et grandes belles looks et élégant lit confortables coussins douches, belles douches toutes les toilettes propres et grandes. Le bar Keller était facile à trouver de la nourriture et la bande était grande avec une atmosphère vraiment bouleversante. La chambre est très confortable et très confortable. Le matin suivant, j'ai visité le spa qui était vraiment super avec piscine, vapeur et sauna, etc. plus salle de gym toutes les équipes Technogym. Puis un petit déjeuner en anglais complet, il y avait une bonne sélection de nourriture toutes chaudes et délicieuses. Bien valué pour tous les types de groupes et de familles qui séjournent, je recommanderais très bien cet hôtel.
