Very good location, with well-maintained gardens and greenery. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is helpful, especially the person at the front desk. The food at the restaurant is average, but overall, it's a pleasant experience.

Taj as everytime has that charm to keep visiting whichever property in different cities it may be.The ambience the upkeep the smooth check in all that is a team work so appreciate all Taj Vivanta katra we experienced the fabulous hospitality while dining as the staff particularly Mr Vijay Kumar was so efficient in making us relish the wonderful cuisine .Breakfast served was amazing and of course Mr Vijay Kumar left no tables unturned to serve us efficiently.Thanks chef for the amazing food Definitely worth every moment of our stay.

Vivanta Katra applies the impeccable standards of Taj Hotels Globally ie 5 star treatment with the warmth of the Indian culture. Service standards are very high with a staff that is graceful, prompt, well trained , empathetic and flexible We visited Katra on April 8 with the intention to get Vaishnodevi Mata darshan on April 9. At checkin into the hotel, we could not believe that it has such a beautiful night view of the Trikuta mountain path that leads to the shrine. The rooms are really cozy and comfortable. Restaurant is modern with variety of food options We are grateful to ***n Sharma who ensured that out visit to Katra is successful. His presence of mind and going out of the way to help us, is note worthy Having said the above, we found every staff in the hotel has the innate desire to give best service to visitors. They are motivated and good hu*** beings. Thank you Vivanta for making our stay comfortable. We good the blessings of Mata on the first day of Navaratari and returned home feeling extremely satisfied with the entire journey.

Taj Vivanta Katra is an amazing place to stay. I have been going there for years now. Warm staff, great food and wonderful hotel. Special thanks to ***n and Suresh and the whole team at Taj Vivanta Katra. Look forward to my next visit soon. A MUST VISIT HOTEL RESORT !!

I with my wife had plan for a pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra. For my stay option I choose Vivanta by Taj. It was one of the best decisions to choose this hotel for my stay during the pilgrimage. It is located in a serene calm area below the main road level. Surrounded by lush green trees and bushes it is located right at the foothills of Trikut hills from where you can have a glimpse of Mata Vaishno Devi yaatra marg. It is divine and beautiful at the same time. The ambience is great with daily evening Aarti of Mata Vaishno Devi which is one of the best activity of Vivanta Katra. Overall it is the best choice for stay when planning a trip to Katra.

We stayed there for our Vaishno Devi Mata temple visit and it was a wonderful experience starting from the check-in till our check-out. They were fully booked due to long weekend but still they allowed us for early check in. This hotel is around 8 Km away from yatra starting point but Pick up and drop facility is available at nominal rates. 24*7 in room dining facility available in case you return back after Darshan during late hours. Breakfast buffet was very delicious n special thanks to Chef Mr. Arvind Kumar Sharma for considering our request for kids food. Here I would like to mention specially about Mr. Inderjeet, who after our check out called me n told that they found our ipad which we had forgotten in the room. On our request he arranged the drop of our ipad from katra to Jammu too. We recommend every one to plz visit this place and experience their fabulous hospitality.

the place is too far. They charge to drop and pick up from Bhavan or Hellipad. Very unhelpful staff in terms of sharing knowledge about the place. Poor guidance. Being a tourism place and first visit one would have expected the staff to be more helpful and give better guidance.

I have been staying in this property for the last 10 years, The location is excellent and the property has been renovated very nicely and all the staff is very caring , Amar ,Suresh ***n at the reception are very responsive and Poonam , Ashok, Vijai, Ravi , Rohit, Hoshiyar and Gulshan takes personal care of each and every guest
