Hotel am Peterstor

This is an excellent hotel, the hospitality and service are top notch and the location absolutely can't be beat. Our family stayed in 2 rooms during the Christmas market season and both rooms were to our needs...big comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and equipped bathrooms (although small European showers). We arrived before check-in, and were offered complementary beverages while we waited for our rooms to be finished. We enjoyed a glass of wine, a beer, and a hot chocolate between the three of us which was exactly what we needed after a long drive. The hotel provided us in advance with very specific directions on how to get to their hotel and the nearby parking garage. The directions were excellent and took us right to it, and the garage is literally steps from the back entrance to the hotel. It could not have been more convenient, especially after a very recent heavy snowfall. It was also great that the parking garage was discounted by the hotel. And speaking of convenience, the hotel is a 10 minute walk from anything you may want to see, including the wonderful Christmas market at the Thurn and Taxis palace. Breakfast was plentiful with everything you could want to get your day started. We would not hesitate to stay here again. If I had any suggestion to offer, it would be to provide some signage on how to use the shower system for your American guests. One of the water knobs was outside of the shower on the wall above the toilet while the other was inside the shower. It took some investigating to figure out how to adjust the hot and cold temperatures but I finally figured it out.

The room is a bit on the small side, and the bathroom is even smaller. It's almost impossible to get into a shower if you are not tiny. Very clean, good breakfast and parking garage next door is very handy(discounted price from hotel). Great location for exploring the Regensburg.

Excellent service and food and the rooms were clean and very functional (mini fridge,plenty of storage, comfortable bed, and plenty of power sockets for recharging equipment. Situated close to the city centre it's quiet but still close to everything

We arrived at midday and were able to have our room straight away. We had a friendly welcome from the receptionist. The room was clean and modern although quite small. We were staying for 3 nights and there was little wardrobe and drawer space, having said that we were comfortable and the air conditioning was a bonus. It was only a short walk into the old town so we loved the location. Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice. I was particularly impressed when I asked a member of staff if there were any more croissants available as they had all been taken and he actually went across the road to buy some more! Now that’s what I call excellent customer service. Regensberg is such a lovely place to visit and the hotel complemented it well.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before boarding a Viking River Boat Cruise down the Danube River. It was a good location and we were able to walk everywhere in this very pretty small city. The hotel was very clean, reasonably priced and absolutely adequate for a few nights stay. The breakfast bar was excellent. The hotel receptionist, Bettina, was helpful in giving us directions and making recommendations for places to see. She also arranged for a taxi to get us to the cruise dock. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel while in Regensburg and spending a day enjoying the city!

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, super Frühstück. Zimmer und Bad recht klein. Insbesondere in der sehr kleinen Dusche kam es zu starken Temperaturschwankungen des Wasser beim duschen. Das war der einzige Kritikpunkt

Attaccato ad un autosilo, alle porte della zona pedonale. Ottima posizione per visitare la città. Camere carine, quadri con disegni, stampe o foto della città. Si può dormire tranquilli. Buona colazione con tutto ciò che serve. Personale molto cordiale.

Das Hotel ist akzeptabel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, das uns an der Rezeption als „Upgrade zur Junior-Suite“ zugewiesen wurde. Dieses Zimmer, wie einige andere auch, führt auf einen Weg zur Innenstadt. Abends bis in die Nacht flanieren hier Gäste, Party People und morgens rollen die Wäsche-Transportwagen am Zimmerfenster vorbei. Also: Fenster zulassen. Die Lüftung im Bad ist ähnlich geräuschintensiv wie in einer Werkstatt. Sonst:Frühstück top, alle sind freundlich
