Achat Hotel Regensburg Herzog am Dom

We are checking out this morning and while ready to get home following being 3 weeks away, we have enjoyed our time in Regensburg (unplanned stop for two nights!) and the Hotel made our stay even more enjoyable! Helpful and friendly staff at check-in and throughout our stay. We also dined in the Hotel Restaurant last evening and it was possibly the best meal we've had on the trip! Doesn't feel like a "hotel restaurant" and was visible that many local people were enjoying their Saturday evening there too! The room was clean, well furnished and the bed comfy! I did see some of the other properties i was blindly looking into and was blessed to have landed on this ACHAT Property. Also, super walking convenient to Old Town/Shopping/Bridge, etc...!

Excellent service. The staff was really nice, and super helpful. 5 stars to them! The only thing was that my sheets were never changed during the cleanup of the room. Also probably have more vegetarian friendly options for breakfast. All in all the hotel is nice and recommended.

All staff we met were friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the doorstep of the cathedral which felt very atmospheric. It was clean and spacious both in the rooms and around the public areas. The only negative that comes to mind is that the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together - this didn't spoil our stay though, and we actually stayed another night than we originally planned as we liked it so much

We booked this hotel and then were unable to go to Germany because of covid restrictions. They refused to refund our money when their government told us not to come. Do not book this hotel under any circumstances.

We will be staying here in a few weeks. I wanted to compliment Feliz. I have had a few questions in advance of our visit and the response time, the replies, and extraordinary help has been terrific. Feliz is superb with customer service! In this day and age it is wonderful to have such attention. I surely appreciate the efforts!

Zentral liegendes Hotel, direkt am Dom. Im Haus befindet sich auch ein gutes Lokal. Das Zimmer 411 (Präsidentensuite) war großzügig. Bett, Bad und Zimmer allgemein sind sauber, das Bett bequem. Problem ist lediglich das Parken. Ein Kurzparkplatz ist nahe, einer für Übernacht circa gute 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Gerne wieder.

He pasado 5 nches en este hotel con mi pareja. La ubicación es inmejorable, al lado de la catedral de Regenburg, por lo que puede visit**** a pie cómodamente el centro histórico de la ciudad y la parte del rio Danubio y la isla. El hotel es un edificio modernizado que a mi me parece que hubiera podido ser un convento, con habitaciones amplias, pasillos anchos luminosos con ventanas a un patio que alberga un restaurante/taberna típica baviera. El aire acondicionado funcionó bien. Estaba bien aislado de los ruiodos exteriores e interiores. El trato del personal fué agradable. Recomendable siempre.

Die Suche nach einer Suite in Regensburg war schwierig, aber Leidenschaften (oder Marotten) müssen gelebt werden... Hier wurden wir fündig, und wie! Zur "Präsidenten-Suite" gehörte neben einer großzügigen Aufteilung auch eine Art Saal oder Konferenz-Raum mit zusätzlicher Sitzecke, Aussteck mit Blick direkt auf den Dom. Separate zweite Toilette, viel Raum in Schränken. - Zügiger Empfang, alles unkompliziert. Ein Aufzug für das ganze Hotel(?), auch für Behinderte von außen barrierefrei zugänglich. Gute Sauberkeit, hier und da roch es schon etwas alt. Betten-Trakt nur mit Karte zugänglich. Alle Annehmlichkeiten eines 4-Sterne-Hauses wurden geboten. Da das Hotel direkt am Markt liegt, kann es auch schon recht früh recht laut werden draußen - der Dom läutet das erste Mal um 7 Uhr... - Freundliches Personal, aufmerksam und flott. Was leider deutlich abfällt ist das Frühstück, das auf mich wirkt wie "Gast kommt eh nicht wieder", mit einem ausreichenden Angebot, aber recht konventionell bzw. industriell. Die Brötchen stammen wohl nicht vom Handwerks-Bäcker und schmecken nach nichts. Kaffee holt man sich selbst an der Espresso-Maschine. Der Wunsch nach einem weichgekochten Ei (übrigens ein gut funktionierender Test für Service-Qualität) wurde freundlich und prompt umgesetzt. Der Frühstücks-Raum sieht aus wie einer vor 40 Jahren, aber es gibt Zugang zum Außenbereich. Es ist recht laut und alles andere als gemütlich; vielleicht soll das auch so sein. Das Hotel ist ingesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber nach Corona und jetzt höheren Kosten und Inflation muss man hier Verständnis haben. Das Haus ist nicht hellhörig. Die Minibar ist leer. Das Internet bot immer ein anderes Bild, hat aber nicht funktioniert, wie auch der Fernseher in der Sitzecke. Es gibt Wasser-Kocher und Espresso-Maschine. Das Hotel liegt etwa 15 Minuten Fußweg vom Hauptbahnhof und Busbahnhof entfernt und ist gut zu finden. Die Töchter waren mit ihrem kleinen Doppelzimmer zufrieden. Wir werden wohl nicht wiederkommen, aber die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren wirklich goldig. Danke!
