Avis : Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach

For the price, it was good. Room was outdated but served it's purpose. A bit of a musty smell but things seemed clean. Girl at desk on check in was super nice. Pool was nice and refreshing after a day at the beach. Continental breakfast was definitely in need of more choices. No muffins or donuts, just basic breads. Fresh fruit would have been nice. Overall, not a bad stay.

Cleanliness was a big miss. There was dirt and sand in the corners of the room, the fuzzy blanket that was in between two flat sheets was stained on both beds and one had a cigarette burn in it. Fruit flies were in the room so we ended up getting spray so that we could eat comfortably in the room. The bathroom area must have flooded at one point as well, the tub had a soft spot in it and dripped our whole stay. Next to the tub the floor was warped and curled up revealing a dirty/moldy underside. The mini fridge had large rust spots all over the door. We also received “clean” towels the one day that had stains on them (should have been thrown out). The free breakfast was an assortment of mini muffins and a juice machine in which 3/4 juices were out of service. The location to the beach is nice if you don’t want to spend extra for beach front but I can tell you that my family and I will be paying extra if it means avoiding this place.

Room smells very bad and not comfortable bed

Location is great ! Parking was plentiful . The pool looked very nice and clean . Booked a room for two nights. Confirmation email said it was a smoking room. I immediately called and asked for a non - smoking room. Gentleman happily changed rooms, but said it was the only non-smoking room left for our visit. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. and they allowed us to check in early since the room was ready. The room smelled horribly of smoke and was seriously dated with old, dirty carpet and desperately in need of new paint. The room was a good size, but everything about it was old and dated. I booked our reservations online and they were non-refundable. We only stayed one of the two nights I paid for, as I was not staying another night in that room. I paid for breakfast for two morning, expecting a hot breakfast, but it was just a continental breakfast.
