Sunday Hotel

Although the placement of this hotel may not be great (down a side track) the hotel itself is great and is only a short walk to shops and beaches. The room was lovely and clean and beds were comfy. Only had breakfast once and a bar snack both were fine, we went self catering, supermarket 5 mins walk away with everything you need. Pool area clean but small and water was so cold so went to beach everyday. Bus stop on main road so easy to get to the town. Go early as bus gets so busy but very regular. Beaches are pebbles but sea is warm and clear take beach shoes as its agony walking in and out of sea. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants 10- 15 mins walk away. Go straight over main Rd by petrol station down a track/rd, this is pitch black at night and you come to the beach if you turn left there are more beaches behind restaurants and if you keep on walking there are even more restaurants and shops you will end up back on main Rd but further along so just walk back along main Rd to hotel, main Rd is busy so take care crossing. Quick transfer from airport as close by and you can watch planes go over beach but it doesn't annoy or disturb your day. Great steak house at main Rd turn right not cheap but you won't be disappointed, best English breakfast head towards beach turn left and first restaurant you come to with beautiful covered outside seating area. Would return again and use this hotel as apart from where its situated I couldn't fault it everyone was friendly and rooms cleaned regularly

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Sunday Hotel This family run hotel is the best. Toula,Tina and the rest of the family are so helpful nothing is to much trouble The rooms are very clean and comfortable everything you need is provided. The hotel is located about a 15minute walk from the beach (pebbles) and there is a bus stop close by for Rhodes Town. Will definitely return

The most amazing holiday in Rhodes at this hotel, the staff are amazing so friendly, kind and like to have a chit chat, the food is great a good selection and tasty, the place is so clean in the rooms and at the pool and restaurant area, the rooms are comfortable and spacious with comfy beds and great air con, cannot recommend this place enough one of the best I have stayed at!! Highly recommend staying here

Amazing little hotel, we spent 11 nights at the Sunday, and found it to be a great place. Staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you. Rooms are clean, well equipped and spacious. The pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds, towels supplied and even floats. Ialyssos itself is about a 15 minute walk away and is a lovely town. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here and stay again!x

We LOOOOOOVE this place !! What can we say except we absolutely loved this wee hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and couldn’t do enough! The facilities are fabulous! Clean beach towels you can borrow for as long as you want, washing machine and tumble dryer with the soap included, the rooms are huge, and the air con was super! The bathroom and shower were great! We were put in side by side rooms with my two daughters in one and us next door and it worked perfectly! We were in room 1&2 and we loved them! Food was declined for breakfast and lunch and dinner! The ONLY negative for us is the location, for us as a family it was too far from Rhodes town - it proved tricky for buses during high season as they ones in the morning were always full and it was about 18 € to get in via taxi if you booked via hotel. This genuinely is the only negative and that’s not the hotels fault, they honestly couldn’t provide a better stay! The whole place was wonderful. There was a beach not far away but that bit wasn’t the nicest or cleanest bit. If you walked further down you found a great beach bar called BIKINI and the beach at that but was beautiful! They also have Floaties /rubber rings etc you can borrow so you don’t need to buy one! We will be back purely for the hotel and staff but I may need to brave hiring a car maybe for then.! Thank you to you, that is what Rhodes is about. Super friendly people who appreciate their guests.

This place was just amazing. Our family had a great time. As we had a late check in there was a selection of things in the room, including a big bottle of chilled water. Really nice touch. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was powerful. The staff here were so lovely. Friendly and helpful. Pool area was spot on. Inflatables available for the children (and big children!) Plenty of sunbeds. The onsite resturant was ideal and had a good range of food. The hotel is located just off the main road so plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Would return here in a heartbeat.

Our second visit to the hotel and it won’t be our last. Greeted as ever by the family and told we were now part of it, as we were returning. The good, the staff, the cleaners and the drinks are all amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and maintained, the pool is family friendly with plenty of inflatables for the kids and the location is perfect. We could not recommend highly enough but please don’t book because we want to go back again next year. 😂😂

The best hotel in all of rhodes! I've had the best few days at this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing. The drink and food options are fantastic. I had breakfast every day which was a great variety. The evening meals are also great. All of the property is clean and to a really high standard. I loved that this hotel is a secret Gem! You don't have to fight for sun lounges every day like the huge hotels in the area. A family run business and you can tell! You really get to know the staff and they go above and beyond. I really couldn't sing their praises enough. Stelios and Michael are fantastic as well as all the lovely ladies that work there. Stelios also makes great drinks and gives get service. Thanks so much! A 10 minute walk to the beach and into town too which also has great restaurants.

Excellent mid range hotel. Little touches such as free aircon and water in your fridge on arrival. Staff are friendly. Cleaners never seem to stop. Lots of sunbeds, good food, clean towels every day for the pool. We stayed in 305 mezzanine room - huge private balcony and very quiet. Large Super market is 2 minutes away. Main town a 15 min walk.
