Hotel the Amaris

On our Way back from Chakrata and the Hun Temple in Hanol on the Banks of River Tons, we went to Rishikesh and to this Hotel Amris, accidentally, because we were put off by the congestion in Mussouri. We wanted a reasonable accommodation at Rishikesh for a Day, as our Flight to Mumbai was on the next Day in the Evening. We found this Hotel at an Optimum Location for Airport and Site Seeing, near Natraj Chowk. While Location was a Priority, it was the Cleanliness of the Hotel, which also was our Top Priority, that bowled us. Apart from getting an Off Season Concessional Accommodation, we also got Excellent Room Service and Useful and Excellent Guidance from the General ***ager Mr. Roy, who helped us to Arrange a Trip to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple Utilizing our Spare Waiting Time for our Flight. In Spite of being a Pure Veg Restaurant Hotel, the Hotel had a very Decent A**osphere and Not a Yatri Look.

Dirty rooms n bathrooms, pathetic food, pre-used bed sheets, pillows given. Only one bottle of water for two adults that too for 2 days stay, second bottle onwards was charged. ***ager was not at all fit for any hospitality institution.

This is what happened with me I went to hotel ok 29 march 2023, I paid 12,000 to akshat goyal owner of amaris hotel. Just upon arrival had to leave immediately due to family emergency. The hotel owner refused to return our payment despite promising in writing! He said he will return money but he ignored my phone calls for 3 days and then he didn’t return my money, earlier he was saying he will return full amount but he return because you have not stayed in my hotel but he returned only 8000. This was our return visit, yet received terrible trea**ent! Very poor service 3rd class hotel CHEATERS LIERS !! DON’T STAY HERE ❌❌❌

We stayed in rishikesh at hotel the amaris on 16/05/22 for three nights .. very warm welcomed by mr devesh at front office and the operation help mu mr Nitesh which was perfectly comfortable and help ful gonna visit again soon .....

Best hotel in Rishikesh specially for family and female travelers safest place the owner is very nice apart from that the hotel rooms are spacious and equipped with all modern amenities and services The room service is excellent apart from that the terrace spa offers amazing services best hotel in city rishikesh

All the facilities was super good, staff is also good , food was also super delicious. Nitesh is one of the person who make our visit very comfortable and happy .. we really thanks to him and all the other staff ..

Positive - Friendly attendants at the reception (Kusum & Mukesh) & restaurant (Both the stewards) also one cant miss the smiling darbaan. Hope I have got their names right. They even got us upgraded to suite room though at an additional charge which was as requested by us. Suite room was very spacious and had a comfortable sofa seating too. Reception provided with local car transfers to go to Neelkanth temple & charged us INR 2,100 which had a very good driver & guide Gaurav. Negative - Suite room given to us had only one bottle water, one bath towel, one soap, one slippers and no napkins which looks like it was kept ready for a single person to check in and we had to ask for another pair. No running hot water and the Engg person took half an hour to fix the problem. No WIFI at all in the room which was such a stress for us as I missed on my conference call too as the night reception person was not able to do anything about it. The only option given to us was to change the room and at that time we needed to rest rather than to pack our bags and move. Only way to get it was to go down to reception which was a disaster. F&B menu was very good but most of the items were not available and worked with limited menu serving Chinese & Indian only. Spa showed working as per the hotel website however no services offered at all nor any one arranged outsourced spa service for us which could have been an option. Finally no service recovery done whatsoever in spite of bringing the issues to the notice of the ***ager in the morning.

Very poor service, they will ask you extra money for everything. Never ever pre book, they will instantly cancel your room if any person gives them 100Rs more then what you are giving. God knows how the hotel is surviving when so much good hotels around.
