Stayed for two nights. On the second night, we took a dip in the hot pool to relax. When trying to get back to our room, the door access reader malfunctioned and we could not get in.
After informing the reception staff - Mr Sundeep, who conducted a check, we were informed the reader was spoiled and maintenance had to be called to open the door. This would take 30 mins as the technician was off-site. We were in our swim wear with only towels and were told to wait in the meeting room.
After 30 mins, Mr Sundeep came back to inform the door could not be opened and the technician would take longer to arrive. He offered us another room to wait. At this point we started to get anxious, as we had not yet packed for our flight early the next morning and we had to check-out and leave before breakfast. Mr Sundeep offered to help us apply for compensation in view of the issue.
After about 40 mins, Mr Sundeep informed us the technician had opened our room door and we could return. He then promptly left without further instructions. We met the technician outside the room and asked to spend more time trying to fix the card reader on the door, as the door could not be locked. We allowed him to continue his work as we showered and packed our luggage. It took the technician quite some time to fix the card reader, entering the room intermittently with permission. He finally finished the work at about 11pm. We did not receive new room keys for the door and I kept the keys for the spare room that we had waited in.
The next morning at check-out, the staff was not aware of our situation the night before and was puzzled to receive the spare room keys and not the keys for the room we were checking out from. I had to explain the situation to him and thankfully he accepted and allowed the checkout.
It has been more than a week and there has yet to be follow-up from Days Inn or d3h Hotels on the outcome of the issue we had faced. We are disappointed with the service recovery for the issue and hope the hotel team will be able to resolve similar issues for other guests more quickly. I really would not want others to experience what my wife and I had to go through that night.

It was terrible. People are so noises whole night until 2-3am. Door is not fully closed and all noises as well as light come to the room. I stayed with one baby boy. It kept awaking because of noises. They gave me the room in front of elevator. We heard people chatting, talking on the phone, listening to music by speaker phone. Drunken people shouted laughed loudly. No one supervised and those people kept showing around3am. I definitely can’t sleep. The noise from heater was loud and water power so weak.
It was my first time to stay and i never come back here and do not recommend anyone. I dont know what kind of people come and stay. It was terrible.
