When I read the reviews about "The Beehive" I knew I wanted to stay here. After a three week journey of taking Italian lessons at Il Sasso Italian School in Montepulciano, Toscana and traveling on my own to Trieste and Croatia, it was so wonderful to make my final resting place at "The Beehive." I have nothing but high praises for Linda, the owner of the hostel. Linda was so kind to me from the very beginning when I had difficulty booking a dorm room at the hostel. When I met Linda at the hostel she was so friendly and helpful. She made me feel so at home in her hostel and even connected me with one of the guests who was going to the airport the same time and day I was at 3:30 am, on a Tuesday so we were both able to share a cab. The Beehive is so lovely. There's a relaxing garden in the front of the hostel where you can mingle with other hostel guests. Inside the hostel there are plenty of bathrooms, a laundry facility, an amazing kitchen with a dining area. There are also all kind of activities going on from walking tours to cooking classes. I wish I had been there when those activities were going on but they weren't. One last thing, the guests here are the best. I've yet to stay at a hostel where making instant acquaintances is so easy. In my short time there I was able to have lunch at a restaurant with one woman, and dinner with another. I also enjoyed a bottle of wine with some guests downstairs near the kitchen. "The Beehive" really does deserve top notch reviews. The staff is great, the hostel is spotless clean and spacious, the garden is gorgeous, and there are many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. GRAZIE MILLIE to Linda and Steve, the owners of "The Beehive" for being so magnificent and offering such an outstanding hostel to travels from around the world.
