酒店的位置特別好，樓下就是真理之口，透過窗户就能看到排隊的人，窗外也是一座建築遺址.離巴士站也很近，出門往右走就很快就能到國會廣場，威尼斯廣場，推薦走後麪往高處走的小路，遠眺整個古城遺跡 酒店的服務也特別好，我們將近11點才到，一直有人等我們幫忙搬行李，迷你吧入住用一次，有很多飲料，每天有小餅乾送.早餐時間很長，週末到11點. 裝修風格意式現代風格，很多細節很精緻，廚房用品齊全，而且隔音很好，窗外的鐘聲如果不開窗根本聽不見，入住體驗很好.

L'hôtel en lui-même est super - les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Accès à tout à distance de marche. Le personnel du restaurant était extrêmement serviable et sympathique. Mon seul reproche, c'est que le personnel du comptoir de l'hôtel ne respectera aucun des avantages de l'adhésion Marriott et fera tout son possible pour augmenter votre tarif. On nous a facturé 400 $ de plus que notre tarif de réservation pour un séjour de 4 nuits. Le préposé à la caisse n'était pas du tout sympathique et ne devrait vraiment pas travailler dans le service - il a mis le seul moment aigre dans ce qui est un très bon hôtel.

Nous venons de passer 3 nuits pour fêter notre 25e anniversaire de mariage et nous avons adoré chaque minute de notre séjour. Le personnel de l'hôtel est incroyable ! Ils nous ont donné plusieurs pâtisseries et une bonne bouteille de vin. Le personnel d'enregistrement est excellent. Le personnel du restaurant est très dévoué et sympathique, en particulier les 2 membres du personnel du Pérou. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est imbattable ! Nous reviendrons à l'avenir!

We bought a New Year's dinner at the hotel. The service was very poor. The restaurant administrator is not responsive and professional. The impression of the holiday is spoiled. Although the dinner was a la carte, the staff did not serve drinks and wine, everything was done by the guests themselves.

The pros : beautiful building , interesting combination of classical architecture and contemporary furniture and decor. Located close to some of the main sightseeing attractions of Rome. The cons : long wait at reception with only one staff to attend all guests. When you happen to want to ask a question when a family just arrived for check in , arm yourself with patience. Our request for late check out was flatly denied, little recognition for the lifetime platinum status. The steps in the hotel make it difficult to move around with heavy suitcases.

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews from many platforms. And I experienced all of the positive reviews. And for the first time I would recommend hotel to my friends and families/relatives. The two rooms were the best : the view, size and amenities. To my surprise, the minibar provided as complimentary. Breakfast : the best breakfast I ever had after more than 30 years traveling for both leisures/family and business trips in Indonesia, Asia and Europe. On top of the buffet menus, we were offered breakfast that personalised for our needs/tastes. Now, two weeks after we left the hotel, my wife and daughter keep telling me about to comeback again to Rome just because this hotel …. All the staffs were helpful and almost excellent. Keep the good work guys, as this hotel’s experiences were the oasis in many disappointments about Rome. One small note : It was a little bit difficult for me to find this hotel, and taking up two large luggage up to the hotel lobby was a little struggle

This boutique hotel is an excellent location to stay if your visiting Rome. The location is very central and the staff is very friendly. Special mention - barman Micheal. Best cocktails and he does it with style. Also Joseph was very accommodative. Will certainly visit here again.

The Palazzo Velabro is a newly renovated hotel in the center area of Rome just behind the Forum and Palatine Hill area, just a few blocks from the Colosseum and directly next to Arch of Janus. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, fully stocked with luxurious bedding, full sized toiletries, robes, slippers, Nespresso Coffee, and in our case, a family apartment with kitchen and sleeping sofa. The staff is beyond wonderful and went above and beyond to give us area information, call taxis to and from airport or when we had early morning guided tours to Vatican (you can walk, we just chose taxi), and to ensure our comfort. There is a restaurant in the hotel that is understated in decor, but has the most talented chef I have encountered in years (and I’m no stranger to Italy or Europe). We enjoyed 3 exceptional meals there (one in our room when we checked in at 2200/10 PM) and had fabulous service. The food and prices were better in the hotel restaurant than in comparable locations in town to include Trastevere. The pasta is hand made in house, and so is the most delicious, crusty, salty focaccia I’ve ever sampled. The hotel and restaurant are immaculate and quiet. The rooms are soundproofed and modern with lighted closets, marble, and beautiful rain showers. The price for our 2 bedroom 2 King, Sofa sleeper and Kitchen suite was so low I thought there was a mistake. The other hotels with similar accommodations were 2-3x times the expense, but in noisy areas further from the Ancient ruins part of the city. The price may go up as the hotel becomes more established. Also, I realized during our stay that the reviews we read prior to our reservations were years old. This is explained by the fact that the hotel has new management and has been under renovations for 3 years. My family was only the second set of guests for their grand opening last week of March 2023. Finally, for the first time ever, I wasn’t ready to leave vacation and return to my own home and bed. The hotel is that good. To the staff of Palazzo Velabro and it’s Ristorante….Thank you for your attentive and thoughtful service, your kindness, and the happiness you brought our family during our 5 nights in Rome. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It was quaint, new, beautiful and the customer service was outstanding. Everyone spoke English (among many other languages). The rooms were lovely, bed and pillows were super comfortable. So much so that we had a hard time getting out of them in the morning. The restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Rome. We ventured out to many other recommended restaurants but kept coming back to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was consistently fresh and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!
