Gästehaus Edith

This was a clean, basic room to stay inside the city walls. The sign outside was not super obvious, we could have passed it by easily. To "check in" you use a code to open a lockbox in the main hallway to get your key cards, and you get a code for the front door. No elevator, and the stairs are steep. Be prepared to climb. The room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have a fridge but did have an electric kettle. The best recommendation for this guesthouse was it's perfect location. A short walk to basically everything you want to see in Rothenberg obT, including the Chris**as Market. There is a bakery on the corner and a grocery store within a slightly longer walk. We also walked from and to the train station with no problem. I would stay here again.

Eravamo in 5 e la gentile signora (Edith?) ci ha affittato un appartamentino all'ultimo piano, con un bagno grande praticamente all'ingresso, un salottino e una camera grande. Tutto sommato, è stata una soluzione comoda e funzionale. Molto caratteristiche le scale interne di accesso agli appartamenti: proprio come si fosse in una casa vecchia di tanti anni... La signora è stata gentile e cortese. Non abbiamo fatto colazione da lei, ma in una panetteria a poche decine di metri. Posizione estremamente comoda, raggiungibile in macchina

Die Pension Edith liegt sehr gut mitten in der Altstadt - nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Marktplatz. Ein für Rothenburg typisches, schon älteres Gebäude, aber gut erhalten. Trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig dank guter Isolierung der Fenster. Der Empfang sehr freundliche, die Betreiberin sehr hilfsbereit. Das war Zimmer war relativ groß, hatte bequeme Möbel, dazu schnelles Internet und ein gutes Bad. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt.
