Nice hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money. My “Go to” Hotel when I’m in Roxas.

The hotel has a great facility. Staffs are friendly. I really appreciate the hotel service for free. I suggest that the hotel needs to look for transportation access for its clients since it was quite far from the downtown.

Alunsina Hotel and Spa Roxas City (Capiz), Philippines 01-02 Jun 2024 1x Deluxe Quadruple Booked for 6 family members + 1 dog Good overall value on price for our kids. Great size pool! However, the experience was marred by: 1) The resort location was a little far from SM Roxas and Robinson Malls. Over 15 mins travel time via tricycle or taxi - According to our taxi driver - Roxas City has only 3 working Taxis operated by Southwest Taxis during our stay in Roxas. 2) The onsite cafe and room service closed by 6 pm. Very, very limited drinks/refreshments are available after 6 pm. 3) The onsite massage service used offsite staff and we had to wait. After 30 minutes wait. We had to chase the staff up to see when the masseuse would arrive at the hotel. Ultimately, we had to cancel as they still had not arrived, and we sorted an alternative offsite provider. 4) The breakfast choice was very limited. 5) There was no phone in the room. So no room-to-room calls. 6) Not dog-friendly as promoted, no dog bed, but charged the same rate as having an extra person staying in the same room.

We were surprised to receive breakfast in the room but there are no chairs: we would prefer to eat at the dining area.

This was organised the night before. 5) The Main desk in the room, which was connected to the coffee area, had ants crawling around searching for food. If you left an empty candy wrap by mistake on the desktop - the industrious ants would find it and tell their fellow ants. 6) There was no phone in the room so room to room or the front desk/Housekeeping was not available. So you had to walk to the other room to speak to your other family members or go downstairs to get any assistance or help required. 7) Not dog friendly as promoted, no dog bed, but charged the same rate as having an extra person staying in the same room.
